Abstract

Purpose – This paper aims to analyze the potential for economic revival of the three villages Methodology/approach – The research conducted in the villages of Susup, Rajak Besi, and Komering, which were selected purposively. The research location was chosen purposively because it has the most severe economic damage in Central Bengkulu Regency. The first method is the Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) technique which requires extensive and informal speaking communication with rural people and observing the local conditions of the community. The second method is the seven-span method. The seven-span method is widely used to classify village potentials based on seven criteria to realize the sustainability of businesses established in rural areas and analyzed descriptively. Findings – It was found that Susup and Komerig villages have great potential in the aspects of Economic, Social, and Natural Resource. However, it is very weak in aspects of Environment, Human Resources, Market and Technology. Unlike Rajak Besi Village, this village has the potential to be developed after the disaster because it has strengths in the aspects of Economic, Social, and Natural Resources, Human Resources, Market and Technology.. Novelty/value – The importance of village potential to develop regional strategies in the development of post-disaster village areas

Abstract

Purpose – This trying to test whether political will perception is able to mediate the influence of servant leadership on managerial performance Methodology/approach –This research uses quantitative methods. Data processing and hypothesis testing using WarPLS version 7.0. This research was conducted at the Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with proportionate stratified random sampling. The sample was calculated using Herry King's Nomogram Table with an error rate of 5% where 135 respondents were selected. Findings – ItFound that. Political will perception is able to mediate the influence of servant leadership on managerial performance. The direct influence of Servant leadership on managerial performance is greater than the direct influence of political will perception on managerial performance. There is a direct influence of servant leadership on political will perception. Novelty/value –Because political will perception has become an important factor that is able to mediate the influence of servant leadership on managerial performance, it is very important to understand how to maintain managerial performance by looking at indicators of political will perception.

Abstract

Purpose –The hospital is responsible for patient safety during the treatment period. Surgical wound infection is part of the main problem in midwifery services because it can hinder surgical wound healing, increase treatment time and increase treatment costs. As well as increasing the morbidity and mortality rates in obstetric services. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of surgical wound infection on patient care costs. Methodology/approach –The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results showed that post-cesarean surgical wound infection had an impact on finances, namely the high cost of hospital care. This is in accordance with the results of interviews and documentation conducted by researchers. Findings –It was concluded that postoperative wound infection elective caesarean section increased hospital costs. Large annual cost savings can be achieved by reducing the incidence of surgical site infections.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach with a questionnaire method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of each independent variable, namely training instructors, trainees, training materials, training methods, training objectives and training environment on the work performance of employees. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, based on the partial test of training instructor variables, training materials, training methods, training objectives and training environment there is a positive and significant influence on employee performance while the trainee variable has no significant effect on job performance. employee. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Taxpayer Perception and Trust in the Government on Taxpayer Compliance in the Voluntary Disclosure Program.The population in this study were all taxpayers registered at KPP Senapelan Pekanbaru. The sample used in this study were taxpayers who assisted in reporting the Annual Tax Return (SPT) in March 2022 at the Tax Center of the Persada Bunda School of Economics (STIE) which is the work area of ​​KPP Senapelan Pekanbaru, with a total of 95 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with an incidental sampling approach. This study uses primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to individual taxpayers. The results this research state that Taxpayer Perception variable affect Taxpayer Compliance, variable Trust in Government affect Taxpayer Compliance, as well as Taxpayer Perception variable and Trust in the Government simultaneously affect Taxpayer Compliance with the Voluntary Disclosure Program. The independent variables, the perception of taxpayers and trust in the government are able to explain the dependent variable, namely taxpayer compliance by 31.3%, while the remaining 68.7% is explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT.Hasel Milek Jaya Pekanbaru in 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of relationship marketing on customer loyalty at PT.Hasel Milek Jaya. The population in this study were all customers in 2021 as many as 727 customers. Thus the number of samples is rounded up to 88 consumers, after being calculated by the Taro Yamane formula. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the calculated t value is 10.832 > the t table value is 1.98793, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that Relationship Marketing has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty at PT. Hasel Milek Jaya. Or the hypothesis has a significant effect because the value of Sig < 0.05. It was found that Relationship Marketing contributed to changes in the Customer Loyalty variable by 57.7%, while the remaining 42.3%. (100%-57.7%) influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

This study aims to determine "the effect of conflict on employee performance at Giant Pekanbaru". In this study, a sample of 90 people was used. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis techniques used with a significance level of 0.05 were validity test, reliability test with crobanchalpha, simple linear regression and t test analysis and analysis of determination R Square (R2). The results of the analysis and data of this study using the help of SPSS Version 16.0, the results of the simple linear regression equation are Y = 45.561 + 0.256X. Based on the results of the research on the t-test showed results, Tcount> Ttable or 2,250> 1,987. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between conflict on performance. Based on the data obtained from the variable Y (performance), obtained R Square (R2) of 0.597 or 59.7%. R Square is used to determine the percentage of the influence of the Independent variable (conflict) on the Dependent variable (performance) is 59.7% while the remaining 40.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to examine the information content contained in the first event of the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia on March 2, 2020, by analysing abnormal return and stock trading volume activity in the tourism, transportation, textile, medical device, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors around the event Methodology/approach – This study used quantitative research with an event study approach. The samples were selected with purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The hypothesis test using the abnormal return indicators was carried out by conducting a statistical test of the average abnormal return for each event, while the hypothesis test using the trading volume activity indicators was carried out by conducting a paired-difference samples t-test by comparing the t-statistic value with the t-table value on the average trading volume activity before and after with the t-table value and 243 Latvian, 103 Estonian, and 109 Lithuanian entrepreneurs. Findings – The findings showed that when the first event of the COVID-19 outbreak occurred in Indonesia, there was a market reaction in the tourism, transportation, textile, medical device, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors. Novelty/value – The test result is important to show the difference test results of the two average trading volume activities during the first event of the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia showed that there was significant trading volume activity in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to examine the effect of career development practices on career commitment and to investigate the effect of career commitment on the career success of staff in the Kachin Baptist Convention, a faith-based organization. To achieve these objectives, the data collection was conducted from 144 out of 226 staff of the Kachin Baptist Convention by using structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert Scale and a simple random sampling method. After the analysis of the data, the results show that there is a positive relationship between career development practices and career commitment and also between career commitment and career success. Among career development practices, career goal progress and professional ability development play the most significant roles and also salary growth has a significant role in affecting career commitment. Among the three aspects of career commitment, career resilience and career identity have the most significant relationship with career success. Therefore, the responsible persons from Kachin Baptist Convention should focus on career goal progress and professional ability development of the staff while providing attention to support the staff in improving career resilience and identifying the career. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of financial attitude, financial knowledge, and personal income on personal financial management behaviorMethodology/approach – This research uses quantitative methods. Data processing and hypothesis testing using SmartPLS Version 3.2.9. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Padang Branch, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is the saturated sampling technique. The sample used is 92 respondents.Findings – It was found that. financial attitude and financial knowledge have a positive and significant effect on personal financial management behavior. Personal income has a positive and insignificant effect on personal financial management behavior.Novelty/value – financial attitude, financial knowledge are important factors that influence personal financial management behavior. While personal income does not affect personal financial management behavior. However, these indicators remain important in improving personal financial management behavior, especially by paying attention to indicators of financial attitude, financial knowledge and personal income.
