Abstract

This study was to find teacher’s strategies to overcome the student mental block in speaking English. The participants of this article were tutor at Linkage, Bale Beleq, Best One and FLC. The data were collected by using questioner and interview from 5 tutor at course. The result is to find various strategies to slove the mental block student such as student center learning (SCL), pair teaching, gaming, and limited practice. the result also to implementing a combination of supportive teaching strategies and creating an encouraging classroom environment, so teachers can help the students to overcome their mental blocks and become confident and proficient English speakers. the good implementation of these strategies can make the students be better prepared to in an interconnected society that requires excellent communication skills by successefully implementing these tactics.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation and foundation for children to continue their lives in the future. In the research conducted, the authors wanted to find out how the communication patterns of early childhood education teachers and what factors were the supports and obstacles in the communication process of early childhood education teachers in KB. Bahrul Ulum Balang Caddi Island Kel. Mattiro Bintang Kec. Liukang Tupabbiring Kab. Pangkep. The method used in research in KB. Bahrul Ulum Balang Caddi Island Kel. Mattiro Bintang Kec. Liukang Tupabbiring Kab. Pangkep is a case study that seeks to explain in more detail with this type of descriptive research. The approach used is the approach of sociology, communication, psychology, and religion with the stages of research namely observation, interviews, and documentation, then using data analysis techniques. So that it can be seen how the communication patterns of early childhood education teachers and what factors support and hinder the communication process of early childhood education teachers in KB. Bahrul Ulum Balang Caddi Island Kel. Mattiro Bintang Kec. Liukang Tupabbiring Kab. Pangkep. This study uses teaching and learning theory. Based on the findings at the research location, the authors can conclude that the communication patterns that are often used are one-way communication patterns and two-way communication patterns. Supporting factors in the communication process are the existence of adequate facilities, teaching aids, and very good textbooks students need. While the inhibiting factors in the communication process are the barriers of the communication process, physical barriers, semantic barriers and psychological barriers.

Abstract

This article presents a study conducted at Lubna Children, Central Lombok, Indonesia. This article aims to discuss the use of role-play method in improving students' speaking skills. This study uses a qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data was collected through class observation and students' speaking tests before and after the application of the role-play method. This research has provided several significant findings related to the application of the role-play method in improving students' speaking skills at Lubna Children, Central Lombok. Role-play method in this study has proven its effectiveness in improving students' speaking skills at Lubna Children, Central Lombok. The role-play method can be considered an interesting and effective alternative for improving students' speaking skills in an educational setting.

Abstract

The objective of this article was to investigate the impact of foreigners on encouraging the speaking ability of child bracelet sellers at Kuta Beach. This research implemented a qualitative descriptive design taken by purposive sampling. There are 7 participants in this research and they are child bracelet sellers at Kuta Mandalika Beach, Lombok. Observations, interviews and documentation are used to gather the data. The finding of this research shows that foreigners are very helpful in enhancing the speaking ability of child bracelet sellers at Kuta Beach because they can interact directly and practice English with people who make English their mother tongue and second language. Therefore, they quickly absorb vocabulary and phrases that can improve their English skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate students' anxiety in writing journal article. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing purposive sampling with 23 participants from Englis education students at universitas hamzanwadi. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions. A prevalent theme that emerged from the data was the overwhelming pressure students feel to publish their research in academic journals. Participants expressed a sense of competition with peers and the need to meet institutional or departmental expectations for publication. This pressure often contributed to heightened levels of anxiety, as students feared the implications of not being able to publish their work. In conclusion, the analysis on students' anxiety in writing journal articles provides valuable insights into the emotional challenges faced by aspiring scholars during the publication process

Abstract

The goal of this study was to understand the psychology of the id, ego, and super ego that the protagonist of Robertus Adi Sarjono Owon's novel Siluet Cinta Sang Kelana experienced. Such a study is both qualitative and descriptive. Abstract

Language learning stands as a vital component of global education, fostering communication, cultural understanding, and personal growth. However, sustaining students' interest and motivation in learning a language can be a significant challenge for educators. This study explores the pivotal role of teachers' creativity in enhancing students' interest in language acquisition. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive research design with purposive sampling, the study gathers insights from language learners and teachers who have experienced the impact of creative teaching methods. Through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, the study examines how teachers' creativity influences students' engagement, intrinsic motivation, and language proficiency. The findings underscore the significance of engaging pedagogical strategies, such as gamification and storytelling, in capturing students' attention and enthusiasm. Moreover, the study highlights the importance of fostering a positive learning environment, where students feel empowered to express themselves and take ownership of their language learning journey.

Abstract

This paper discusses the history of the bagong damand the existence of the Nyadran tradition in the Ngantru Village, Trenggalek Regency. Bagong Damhas a long history as a source of irrigation water for the surrounding agriculture. This damalso has an important role in the Nyadran tradition which is still being preserved by the local community. The Nyadran tradition is carried out as an expression of gratitude and gratitude to the ancestors who are considered as protectors and guardians of security and safety in the region. In practice, this tradition involves various cultural elements. The nyadran tradition which takes place at Bagong Dam is a part of the customs that exist in the community, namely the implementation of traditional ceremonies in which there are high cultural values and a lot of inspiration for regional cultural wealth which can add to national cultural diversity. (I) Describe the history of the Nyadran tradition of Trenggalek district; (II) Analyze the urgency of the nyadran tradition in dam bagong; (III) analysis of the values embodied in the Nyadran Dam Bagong tradition; (IV) Analysis of similar traditions in other regions. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze calculations in determining production costs in the UD Tempe industry. Bang Dhin Bireuen District with a study that is a standard cost analysis. Research on standard cost analysis has been done by researchers before, but it has a different object from this study. Previous research took objects in manufacturing industries such as the furniture industry, this research is a descriptive qualitative research with the object of research is the UD Tempe Industry. Bang Dhin, Bireuen District, Aceh Province. Data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with respondents while secondary data were obtained through literature review. Collection techniques are carried out through documentation, observation and interviews. Analysis of standard costing data on UD. Bang Din Tempe Bireuen Regency based on the results of interviews shows that there is no standard price determination for raw materials used in the production process, but only has a standard quantity of raw materials. Standard raw material prices are based on the average price of raw materials directly from sellers on the market.

Abstract

The Driving School Program is a collaborative program between the Ministry of Education and Culture and Local Governments which is followed by education units from primary to upper secondary levels. Through the driving school program, it is expected to realize the vision of Indonesian education. In the transformation process through the driving school program at SMP Negeri 4 Jombang, the principal has carried out his managerial competency function by planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. In addition, in order to adjust the school to the driving school program, the Principal of SMP Negeri 4 Jombang has a commitment to increase innovation including IT-based learning, school entrepreneurship programs and improving the character of students through religious activities.
