<![CDATA[Short stories or commonly called short stories are a type of literary work that is unique. Short stories have their origins in the oral storytelling tradition that produced such well-known stories as Homer's liad and Odyssey. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stylistics or style of language used by the author in assembling his story into an interesting short story. short story "Karena Kita Tidak Kenal" by Farida Susanty. This short story discusses stories about strangers, feeling strangers to oneself, sharing secrets with strangers, trying to attract the attention of strangers, and influencing the lives of strangers. The method used in this study is a qualitatives qualitative descriptive. The results of this discussion can briefly be explained that there are data that have been found both lexically and grammatically. <![CDATA[Mantra is the oldest and oldest literature in Indonesia, spells appear and develop through oral traditions that cannot be separated from oral literature. Oral literature, namely literature which includes the literature of the people which is passed down from generation to generation and passed down orally. Mantras have different characteristics in each region and are subject to change. In the text of the spell there are some words that are difficult to understand and understand. The function of the mantra is that it contains noble values related to certain customs and religions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are traditional healing spells owned by shamans or psychics in Kragan, Rembang Regency. <![CDATA[Abstract This study aims for: (1) describe the lexical meaning in the lyrics of the song Irreplaceable by Yovie Widianto (2) describe the grammatical meaning in the lyrics of the song Irreplaceable by Yovie Widianto (3) describe the referential meaning in the lyrics of the song Irreplaceable by Yovie Widianto and (4) describes and explains non-referential meanings in the lyrics of the song Won't Be Replaced by Yovie Widianto. In this study the authors used the method of interpreting and parsing data. The collection of material for this research analysis uses the technique of reading literature, observing, and recording which results in four types of meaning, namely, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, referential meaning, and nonreferential meaning. Semantic analysis is proven to be able to interpret the words used in the lyrics of the song Irreplaceable by Yovie Widianto, starting from the most basic thing, namely research on vocabulary to concluding the meaning of the song lyrics in each line. The lyrics of the song Irreplaceable by Yovie Widianto are about only one love forever. And can't be replaced by anything even if it's a hindrance. <![CDATA[This article is a study of spells for pregnant women, the process of childbirth, and convulsions for babies in Plumpang Village, Plumpang District, Tuban Regency. The study was carried out with three variants of the spell which aims to get the form of the spell, its function and meaning. The method used in this study is a descriptive method which aims to describe what happened and how it should have been when the research took place using a holistic folklore approach. Based on the analysis carried out, it was found that the structure of the three mantras consists of certain patterns which indicate that what is prioritized in the mantra is the aim of smooth running during pregnancy until the delivery process and health for the baby and mother, each mantra addressed to God who Almighty. The function of this mantra is as an educational tool and as cultural validation. The meaning of the three mantras is as a human request to God for health, smoothness, and safety for pregnant women and babies.]]>

<![CDATA[By studying the literary works contained in an area, various cultural views can be obtained that are preserved in a society. Because literature is an integral part of culture. This study aims to discuss the function of oral literature in Ngareng Hamlet, Jatimulyo Village. Oral literature that is still being preserved is folklore. Behind this oral story there are several functions. The function of oral literature is the function of oral literature as entertainment, the function of oral literature as cultural validation, the function of oral literature as a regulator of community norms and behavior, and the function of oral literature as disaster mitigation.]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the double phoneme errors of foreign students at Universiyas Negeri Padang in the form of deletions, additions and changes to double vowels and double consonants in foreign students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The aim of this research is to describe the forms of double phoneme errors of foreign students at Universitas Negeri Padang.. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is the case study method. The research and data sources in the research are Ei Thet Hmo Po (laura) and Win Ei Phyu Tun (Sharon). Data was collected through observation interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it was found that there were twenty-one data analysis of duplicate phoneme errors of foreign students at Universitas Negeri Padang.]]>
