Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an application of medical medical devices in which medical device sales can offer its products using Android based Augmented Reality technology. Augmented Reality is a view directly or indirectly of physical objects by adding information then can be displayed in three dimensions (3D). The method used in development uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This application development uses the Unity application with the C # programming language. Based on the results of testing on the BlackBox Testing, and testing on smartphones, it can be concluded that this application can run well and all buttons on the application can run according to their function.

Abstract

Era of globalization continues to grow. Along with the rapid development of the era, the use of the internet is more towards social networks which are now called social media. Social Media is an application that allows users to create and connect in social networks. Social media can make it easier for anyone to publish activities on social media. Instagram the most popular social media. Social media is used to fulfill self-needs and seek a self-existence for generation Z. Generation Z cannot be separated from the development of internet technology. The purpose of this study is to find out how to use Instagram as a means of self-existence for Generation Z. The research method used is a qualitative research method and uses the constructivism paradigm. Collecting data using the interview method. The results of the research are that Generation Z uses Instagram to exist, entertainment, business opportunities, forming self-image, fulfilling personal needs and spiritual needs for themselves.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that sufferers experience over a long period of time. Schizophrenia is the theme of the concept and theme in Feby Putri's video clip titled "Halu". The purpose of this study is to find out the construction of schizophrenia in the Halu - Feby Putri Video Clip using the paradigm of constructivism. This study uses the Theory of Social Media Mass Reality Construction and uses qualitative approach based on semiotic analysis using the meaning triangle of Charles Sanders Peirce, researchers use triangle of meaning namely sign, object, and intepretant. The study found that schizophrenia was constructed as an inability to control emotions, psychosis, impulses, hallucinations, behavioral instability, lack of confidence, emptiness, discomfort, hendaya to emotional thoughts, perceptions and behaviors, impaired concentration, emotional pain. Video clips can construct schizophrenia through every sign used inside.

Abstract

Transfer pricing is the result of today's business growth. National companies are now becoming multinational companies whose activities are not only concentrated in one country, but in several countries. This is done for tax avoidance in order to obtain high profits. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of tax planning, bonus mechanism and foreign ownership on transfer pricing. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2017. The total sample selected by purposive sampling technique is 100 companies. This study uses the classical assumption test, model feasibility test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing with the Eviews 10 data processing application. The results of this study indicate that tax planning has no significant effect on transfer pricing, the bonus mechanism has no significant effect on transfer pricing and foreign ownership. positive and significant effect on transfer pricing.

Abstract

The existence of a culture of reading books / literacy in the PT Bagindo Kayu Putih Selatan company is a phenomenon that is still rarely found among the public, especially in companies. Due to the lack of sensitivity to issues and understanding of the employees, the founders of the company created an organizational culture by establishing a Book Reading Club for their employees, every day they read one book and then discussed it together. Organizational Culture according to Robbins 2003: 305 (in Sulaksono 2015)) explains that organizational culture is a system of shared meanings held by members that distinguishes an organization from other organizations. This research was investigated with a post-positivistic paradigm with a qualitative approach that aims to examine the phenomenon in depth, the method used is a case study. Based on the results of interviews and observations made, it can be concluded that in addition to building literacy and adding insight, the purpose of the founders of the company is to train employees in communicating and arguing so that they can act optimally in the digital world to their audiences.

Abstract

Film is a means of entertainment that has a high enough appeal in various circles of society. Film as a message medium has an entertaining nature that makes the audience unaware that the message from it penetrates the subconscious which can affect the mindset and attitude of the audience. The film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya is one of the family films that has successfully made the audience cry because the storyline is very touching, so it can be said that the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya can be well received by the Indonesian people. Family is one of the smallest components of society. From a harmonious family it will produce a harmonious society as well. One of the reasons for the harmony of a family is the role of the father. This study aims to determine what the depiction of the father's role in the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya. This study uses qualitative research methods with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method which analyzes a sign into the meaning of the sign, object, and interpretant. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of the sign, object, interpretant of Sagala is a father who is very responsible for his family and also that Sagala never gives up to make her child happy with the work she does even though Sagala's job does not stay somewhere.

Abstract

This research was made based on the author’s interest in the property business world, to find out how the role of the promotion mix played by the Springhill Royale Suite Apartment in increasing the sales of ther apartments. The author uses a qualitative method with a case study approach that explains the application of the promotion mix carried out by the Springhill Royale Suite Apartment, data and information collected to determine the implementation of the promotion mix using in-depth interviews and observations of managers, supervisors of the sales & marketing team from the Springhill Royale Suite Apartments. The promotion mix theory explains that marketers must be able to clearly inform the products to be offered to consumers, and researchers recommend that marketing be more effective through social media such as Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, and aldo using properti websites.

Abstract

Employees are one of the most substantial factors in the success of a company. For that, leaders must have a great interpersonal communication so that employees remain loyal to the company. A leadership role is needed to guide and direct employees. So, they can act according to what the company expects. This study aims to determine how the interpersonal communication of Tambuo leadership in maintaining employee loyalty. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the leaders of Tambuo have a good interpersonal communication in increasing employee loyalty, by prioritizing the principles of kinship, openness, and tolerance. Communication is carried out using informal language while still upholding the value of politeness and mutual respect, so that it makes employees comfortable at work, has integrity, compliments each other on the performance of other employees, employees can be role models, and there is a constructive criticism for the organization. It is because the leadership is very receptive to input and suggestions from employees to improve the organization.

Abstract

Tokopedia is one of the largest E-commerce in Indonesia, which until now has reached the Unicorn stage. Tokopedia also invited Korean boyband BTS to collaborate as its Brand Ambassador. This study aims to determine the effect of BTS Brand Ambassadors on the purchasing interest of Taman Duta residents in Tokopedia E-commerce to Tokopedia users at Taman Duta Housing. This study uses a positivism paradigm with a quantitative approach and survey methods. The data that the researchers obtained were processed using the SPSS Statistics program with a total sample of 116 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson's Product Moment correlation test, simple linear regression test, the coefficient of determination, and the T test. The theory used in this study is the Stimulus-Response (S-R) theory. The results of the hypothesis analysis state that there is an influence between BTS Brand Ambassador and Purchase Intention. This research resulted in a percentage of 39.8% which was carried out on Tokopedia users who could receive a stimulus to the BTS Brand Ambassador.

Abstract

Hallucinations are things that can basically be seen and observed through one's behaviour. As a reality, hallucinations can be constructed through mass communication products, such as films. The film referred to in this study is a short film entitled Setengah Hari Kurang Sedikit. The aim of this study was to determine the depiction of hallucinations in the Setengah Hari Kurang Sediki films. The theory used in this research is the theory of social reality construction with a constructivism paradigm and a qualitative a pproach. This study uses the semiotic method, and the data analysis technique in this study is to use the Peirce triadic model, where the sign is an amalgamation of representamen, object, and interpretant. Th e result of the research was found that there are four meanings of hallucinations, namely: happiness that occurred in the past, losing loved ones, someone's unpreparedness to lose someone who has a strong relationship with himself, and anxiety.
