AGRIWITAS JOURNAL is a research journal published in a scientific periodical from the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Wijaya Putra University. The Agriwitas Journal is published twice a year, namely March and September. This journal presents texts in the fields of Agribusiness and Agricultural Social Economics such as Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Policy, Agricultural Economics, Human Resources in the Agribusiness or Agriculture sector, Agricultural Communication and Extension, Agricultural Sociology, as well as science related to the field of Agribusiness. These articles will be published in the Wijaya Putra Surabaya Agribusiness Journal (AGRIWITAS) based on the decision of the Editorial Board and recommendations from peer reviewers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of production costs on the income of sticky ricejenang entrepreneurs, to determine the profit, business risk, and business efficiency ofsticky rice jenang at household level, and to analyze the marketing of sticky rice jenang inNgadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. This research uses descriptive analytical method.The determination of the research area was carried out purposively, namely inCokrokembang Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. The analytical method usedis to use multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the research analysis, itcan be seen that the production costs that affect the income of the jenang entrepreneursmore are glutinous rice, the average profit earned by the glutinous jenang entrepreneursin a month is Rp. 8,192,063. The sticky rice industry has an efficiency value of 1.77.Glutinous jenang business has a low business risk because the standard deviation of theglutinous jenang business is Rp. 1,611,549. The magnitude of the coefficient value is 0.36.In other words, the jenang business can generate profits. Glutinous jenang is marketed inPacitan itself and outside the city such as: Milir market, Dalopo market, Madiun market,Purwantoro, Ngawi, Magetan and Trenggalek. There are three marketing channels forsticky rice, including producers - consumers, producers - retailers - consumers andproducers - agents - retailers - consumers

Abstract

Climatic conditions that often change and are difficult to predict have a negative impact on natural disasters such as floods, droughts and increasing pest attacks that affect crop damage. Efforts to minimize this by participating in the rice farming business insurance program. Farmers' participation in the AUTP program is still low, therefore it is necessary to know the perception of farmers towards AUTP. Production inputs used by farmers are not optimal, which can result in non-optimal production yields and farmer income. The purpose of this study is to analyze farmers' perceptions of AUTP, rice farming income with Grobogan MSE, factors that affect the income of AUTP farmers. This study was conducted in Lemah Putih Village with a sample of 60 farmers from a population of 105 farmers. Determination of the number of samples taken using the Slovin method where respondents were taken proportionally sampling. Data analysis method with likert scale, multiple linear regression, one sample t test. The results of the research on farmers' perceptions of the AUTP program are overall in the good category. The perception of farmers in terms of socialization is not good, participant registration is very good, premiums are good, claims and benefits are not good. Rice farming is profitable compared to Grobogan MSE. The cost of seeds, labor, farm experience has a significant effect on income. Fertilizer costs, selling prices of rice have no real effect on income

Abstract

Hortensia is a flower that has good business prospects in Batu. The price of hortensia tendsto fluctuate and the marketing margin is quite large, causing the value of the farmer's share to berelatively small. Research on the efficiency analysis of hydrangea marketing carried out inTulungrejo Village aims to identify an efficient marketing system in terms of marketing operationalefficiency. The marketing analysis approach used is qualitative and quantitative analysis. Thedetermination of farmer respondents was selected by purposive sampling as many as 20 peopleand respondents from marketing institutions using the snowball sampling method. The resultsshowed that there were 4 marketing channels formed with different channels, institutions,functions, and market behavior in each channel. Based on the analysis of marketing operationalefficiency, namely the calculation of marketing margins, farmer's share, and the ratio of profit tocost, it shows that channel IV (farmers → wholesalers → consumers) is a relatively more efficientchannel.

Abstract

Agrotourism is a tourism activities that utilize the potential of agriculture as a tourist attraction. Internal and external analysis and strategies for developing agro-tourism are expected to be able to increasde farmers income. Development is needed so that agrotourism can survive and have future strategies in dealing with the crisis during the covid19 pandemic. This research has purposes for 1). It analyzed the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the development of Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism, Pasir Putih Village, Depok City. 2). Analyzing the internal and external environment of Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism, Pasir Putih Village, Depok City. 3). analyze the developed Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism strategy, Pasir Putih Village, Depok City, during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted from December 20, 2021, to February 9, 2022, at Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism, Pasir Putih Village, Depok City. The study used survey methods and data collection methods by interview and observation. Respondents in this study were 30 people from agro-tourism visitors. The data analysis method used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism could be sawed from a decrease in visitor visits, a reduction in worker salaries and layoffs, and a decline in cooperatives. MSME income, external and internal environmental factors that influence the affordability of entrance tickets and product prices, and the lack of funds, the opening of opportunities for economic improvement for the surrounding community, the challenge factor that must be faced is the unstable economic factor due to the covid-19 pandemic, based on the analysis of the position matrix shows that Belimbing Dewa Agrotourism is in quadrant 2. Hence, the strategy that must be applied is a diversification strategy.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Fluktuasi harga cabai ini bisa disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, seperti perubahan musim tanam, cuaca produksi petani yang tidak stabil, perubahan permintan dari negara lain, dan lain sebagainya. Karena itu, para petani dan pedagang di pasar eceran harus memperhatikan kondisi pasar dan keadaan lingkungan sekitar untuk dapat memprediksi fluktuasi harga cabai dan melakukan strategi yang tepat untuk mengatasi fluktuasi tersebut Tujuan: untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di pasar Keputran surabaya Metode Penelitian:Dalam penenlitian ini jenis yang digunakan adalah metode eksplanatori. Data yang digunakan dalam bentuk time series dimulai tahun 2018 sampai tahun 2020 (dalam data perbulan), melalui pengambilan data kepublikasi atau arsip Dinas Pertanian, Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan, dan Badan Pusat Statistik Kecamatan Tegalsari. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil:Terjadi fluktuasi harga pada cabai rawit di Pasar Keputran Surabaya harga yang ditetapkan oleh pedagang cukup bervariasi setiap tahunnya. Dapat diketahui rata-rata harga cabai rawit 3 tahun terakhir pada tahun 2021 yaitu Rp.14.000 per kilogram pada bulan September dan pada bulan Agustus 2022 sampai bulan Juni 2023 mengalami kenaikan sebesar Rp.85.000.Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di Pasar Keputran Surabaya dari tiga variabel bebas (independen) terdapat semua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di pasar Keputran Surabaya, harga beli petani (X1) p=0,007, jumlah produksi (X1) p= 0,001 dan inflasi (X3) p=0,004. Kesimpulan: Terjadi fluktuasi harga pada cabai rawit di Pasar Keputran Surabaya harga yang ditetapkan oleh pedagang cukup bervariasi setiap tahunnya, Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di Pasar Keputran Surabaya dari tiga variabel bebas (independen) terdapat semua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fluktuasi harga cabai rawit di pasar Keputran Surabaya.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Salah satu jenis tanaman hias berbunga indah yang paling mudah hidup dan subur di Indonesia adalah anggrek. Pengusahaan anggrek sebagai bunga komersial yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi tersebut telah berjalan cukup lama, bahkan sudah menjadi salah satu komoditas penting dalam perdagangan florikultura dunia. Usaha anggrek saat ini cukup berkembang, sehingga akan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan petani, memenuhi tuntutan keindahan lingkungan, membuat komplek perumahan, perhotelan dan perkantoran bertambah asri.Tujuan untuk mengetahui rantai pemasaran Tanaman Anggrek di Pasar Bunga Bratang Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya. Metode Penelitian Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus, dengan mengambil kasus pada penjual Tanaman Anggrek di Pasar Bunga Bratang Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya. Responden secara keseluruhan adalah sebanyak 16 orang. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil Pola aliran produk rantai pemasaran anggrek di Pasar Bunga Bratang Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya terdapat satu saluran yang mendistribusikan produk berupa anggrek yaitu petani menjual anggrek ke pedagang pengumpul, kemudian pedagang pengumpul menjual ke pedagang pengecer dan pedagang pengecer kemudian menjual ke konsumen, aliran keuangan mengalir dari konsumen ke pedagang pengecer, pedagang pengecer mengalir ke pedagang pengumpul, kemudian pedagang pengumpul ke petani dan aliran informasi yang mengalir dari petani anggrek ke pedagang pengumpul, pedagang pengumpul ke pedagang pengecer dan pedagang pengecer mengalir ke konsumen akhir hal ini terjadi dua arah yang saling berkaitan. Margin distribusi sebesar Rp 0,19/Pot, total margin pemasaran sebesar Rp 5000/Pot. Efisiensi pemasaran anggrek di Pasar Bunga Bratang Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya yaitu sebesar 1,06 %, maka dapat dikatakan pemasaran anggrek di daerah penelitian sudah efesien. Kesimpulan margin distribusi sebesar Rp 5000/ Pot, total margin sebesar Rp 5000/Pot. Efisiensi pemasaran anggrek di Pasar Bunga Bratang Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya yaitu sebesar 1,06 %, maka dapat dikatakan pemasaran anggrek di daerah penelitian sudah efesien.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the sheep fattening business in the Mulyo Jaya livestock group, Doyomulyo Village, Kembangbahu District, Lamongan Regency. This study aims to determine the feasibility of sheep fattening business and determine the scale of sheep ownership that must be raised to obtain income equivalent to the Lamongan City Minimum Wage (UMK). This research was carried out for 3 months, namely in February 2023 - April 2023. The type of research used was quantitative. The sample used in this study is a saturated sample. The types of data used in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the business of fattening sheep in the Mulyo Jaya livestock group is feasible and if it refers to the UMK of Lamongan City in 2023 it is Rp. 2,701,977, then the sheep fattening business with a scale of 50 heads earns an income of Rp. 3,335,827 which means it is higher than the city's UMK.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Mekarsari Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the production and sale of white oyster mushrooms in the Semolowaru area, Sukolilo District, Surabaya. White oyster mushroom is a product that is increasingly in demand in local and regional markets because of its health benefits and distinctive taste. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with MSME owner Elok Mekarsari and a number of 3 workers. Meanwhile, data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to Elok Mekarsati UMKM workers or members. The results showed that the Mekarsari UMKM marketing system used 2 marketing channels, namely channel 1 consisting of white oyster mushroom producers, final consumers while channel 2 marketing channels consisted of white oyster mushroom producers, wholesalers, final consumers. the marketing system that has been implemented 5P (Marketing Mix) product, price, place, promotion, people includes promotions through social media, trade shows, and cooperation with restaurants and supermarkets local. Apart from that, they also provide special offers for loyal customers to increase customer retention. However, even though there have been marketing efforts made, there are still several obstacles faced by Elok Mekarsari's MSMEs. Some of these obstacles include intense competition with other white oyster mushroom producers, difficulties in accessing export markets, and limited capital for wider promotion.

Abstract

This study discusses the about influence of agricultural equipment technology on employmentopportunities and farm laborers' income in Balongpanggang, Balongpanggang sub-district,Gresik district. The purpose of this research is to find out how the technology of agriculturalequipment affects the employment opportunities and income of farm worker. The existence ofagricultural equipment technology has negative and positive impacts in Balongpanggangvillage, the conclusion from this study is that the negative effect means that the decreasingAgricultural Equipment Technology will affect the increase in Job Opportunities for farmlaborers and for this positive influence it means that the increasing Agricultural EquipmentTechnology will affect This increase in income is because the technology of agriculturalequipment is considered to save working time and costs in land management. But on the otherhand, the presence of agricultural equipment technology has also shifted the work of farmlaborers who initially used traditional tools. The type of research used is quantitative researchwith a population of farmhands in the village of Balongpanggang and using the saturationtheory formula, namely with 23 respondents and all of them will be sampled. The method usedto test this research is to test the validity, reliability test, t test , classic assumption test, pearsonbivariate correlation test and simple regression analysis. Abstract

Public awareness of the importance of consuming healthy and nutritious animalprotein has encouraged an increase in national fish consumption of 50kg/capita/year. Availability of food plays an important role in fulfilling sufficientenergy and calories to increase productivity. Gresik is the only district in East Javathat has been designated as a pilot for the development of aquaculture through theaquaculture industrialization program with the main commodities being milkfishand shrimp. The total area of fish farming ponds in Gresik Regency is 32.00 Ha.This study aims to determine the constraints faced by pond farmers, analyze fishpond business income, and analyze the feasibility of fish pond business. Thisresearch is a case study in Tambak Beras Village, Cerme District, Gresik Regency.The number of samples considered sufficient to represent the entire population,namely at least 10%. Data collection was carried out by interviewing or directinterviews with fish pond farmers. Data analysis used is qualitative and quantitativedata consisting of total costs, income analysis, Revenue Cost Ratio analysis,Benevit Cost Ratio analysis, Break Event Point (BEP). The average income ofmilkfish pond farming is Rp. 14,527,690. Analysis of the feasibility of milkfish pondbusiness showed an R/C ratio of 1.51, a B/C ratio of 1.18, a production BEP of 8.22
