Abstract

This program is focused on the women of the Empowerment and Family Welfare Group (PKK) Perum Saputra Raya 1 Cepokokuning Batang, Pekalongan to improve their ability to carry out financial management. Most of the service partners come from the middle class but still have difficulty managing household finances. This program is carried out by implementing 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparatory stage consisted of outreach and FGD to PKK managers at Perum Saputra Raya 1 Cepokokuning Batang, Pekalongan. The implementation phase is divided into 2 parts, namely material regarding household financial management and the practice of implementing household financial management. In the material section, information is provided regarding the household financial planning process based on the category of budget allocation. These categories consist of basic needs, secondary needs, social needs, and emergency funds. At the evaluation stage there was an increase in participants' understanding of household financial management. This can be seen from the participants' ability to determine the priority scale of household needs based on predetermined financial allocations.

Abstract

This community service program is carried out in Kampung Batik Tulis Giriloyo, which is located in Bantul Regency, DIY Province. The purpose of this training is to assist partners in solving marketing problems. Prior to this training, the products offered at tourist site were hand-drawn batik cloth, apparel, scarves and pashmina. Product innovation training was chosen as a solution program to help partners solve marketing problems. This training program is expected to be useful for handmade batik craftsmen in Kampung Giriloyo to increase their knowledge and skills regarding product innovation, especially ecoprint techniques and making accessories from batik patchwork waste. This training is expected to provide additional skills for craftsmen regarding product innovation by utilizing materials available around them. The training was held from October to November 2022, at the paguyuban hall and was held in three stages: (1) socialization on product innovation, (2) training on making ecoprint, (3) training on making accessories from batik patchwork waste. The outputs resulting from this training are: (1) handmade batik craftsmen gain new knowledge about the importance of product innovation for business sustainability, (2) craftsmen gain additional skills in making ecoprints, (3) craftsmen gain additional skills in making various accessories made from handmade batik patchwork. The training is expected to be useful for craftsmen in Kampung Batik Tulis Giriloyo to increase the attractiveness of tourists visiting the location.

Abstract

Fiqh study is indeed a very vital material. Because this is related to how Islamic law is carried out, which is related to mahdhah worship, therefore every Muslim woman must learn to understand it so that at the implementation level it can run well in accordance with religious orders. This service activity was carried out in the village of Karanghaur regarding the strengthening and mentoring of female fiqh and the application of the menstrual calendar application. In its implementation, it starts from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages which must be considered in preparing and implementing a program. The result of this activity is that the young women of Karanghaur village can understand female jurisprudence to maintain their reproductive health and assisted by the menstrual calendar application as a tool to remember their menstrual cycles, so that from the aspect of the Shari'a they can be implemented in everyday life. The participants showed enthusiasm by showing a positive attitude so that in this activity it was important to develop and follow up with discussion of other topics.

Abstract

Strengthening character education in today’s times is very important to instill in children at an early age. Given the number of crimes that occur, it shows the moral crisis that is plague among the community. The value of character in man cannot grow, but rather develop through the process of living and learning from the environment. The value of such character that will become the identity of a person when acting in society. Therefore the value of character in man must be taught and familiarized from an early age. The purpose of this devotion is to improve the strengthening of children’s character in Huta Tinggi village Pangururan district Samosir district through devotion program to the community (PkM). Through the demonstration method, volunteers (lecturers and students) implemented improved character education in children in non-formal classes. The event also aims to apply 5 characters in children, which consists of religious, homeland love, creativity, critical, and social. The program is designed with a variety of activities that can attract children and packed with semi-formal delivery so that it creates a pleasant atmosphere of the community in Huta High village. By improving the character of children will give hope to the next generation of moral nation to create welfare in the midst of society.

Abstract

Preschool students are vulnerable to dental health problems and poor dental hygiene behavior. Dental health issues in children can have an impact on their growth, development, and learning. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention and provide intensive methods of health services to preschool students, namely by providing dental health services directly in schools through the school's dental health business program. The method of implementing this community service activity is the provision of dental health services for school students, assisted by the Kendari City Pembina State Kindergarten. Activities carried out from September to December 2017, the activities carried out are limited to promotive, preventive, and curative services. The results of the activity showed that students' knowledge about dental health increased, changes in dental health maintenance behavior became better, and limited curative treatment could be carried out well. It is recommended that these activities be carried out continuously, in stages, and the forms of activities developed to provide greater and long-term benefits.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out in Madukoro Baru Village, North Kotabumi District, North Lampung Regency, Lampung Province on 1–28 February 2023, the activity of making wallets using a rope was carried out as a form of community creativity in Sukadamai hamlet with the aim of increasing the creative economy and business development, the aid team to the people of Muhammadiyah University Kotabumi saw that in the village of Madukoro Baru there was a need for direction so that many people would be interested in coming to the village of Madukoro Baru because there was no tourism in that village so with this activity the team hoped that the village of Madukoro Baru would be able to attract the interest of people outside the village of Madukoro Baru and enliven the village by learning together. The implementation method is carried out with the community service team demonstrated how to make rope kur wallets as well as residents, especially mothers who are involved in this activity. With this activity, it is hoped that it can increase the creative economy in the handicraft sector as an effort to build the family economy in particular and the village economy in general.

Abstract

Introduction to Qur'an using the Baghdadi method which is held with the aim of increasing knowledge about the rules and ways of reading the Qur'an according to the science of tajwid. This service activity was carried out by the village at the TPA Al-Ikhawan Karanghaur village. In carrying out this activity there are several stages, namely: Introduction to hijaiyah letters, introduction to vowels, introduction to cursive letters, introduction to Makhorijul letters, and finally practice reading in juz 'amma. This service activity was attended by 27 students at TPA Al-Ikhwan Karanghaur village. The results of this activity increased the ability of Al-Ikhwan village students to read and write the Qur'an. Before the debriefing activities took place, students were not fully able to distinguish hijaiyah letters, both in spelling and in writing. Students who have received the provision of students are able to understand the origins of the letters they read, so that reading the Qur'an becomes easier and more comprehensive. This can be seen in the implementation of the Pre Test, the children were still in the good category, 9 people, 5 enough, and 13 people less. After carrying out learning activities using the Baghdadi method, the understanding of makharijul letters and tajwid rules shows that 56% of children are already in the good category, meaning that they can achieve a good understanding of reading the Qur'an which is maximized. Although as much as 37% is still in the sufficient category, some children are proficient and considered qualified to read the Qur'an with tartil. So that children are expected to be able to be consistent in learning the science of recitation and makharijul letters and always stick to the Qur'an.

Abstract

Community Service is done to find out that 1) Whether the role play method can increase students' enthusiasm for learning, 2) Whether the role play method can be used in Islamic Religious Education subjects, 3) How the learning outcomes obtained if using the role play method. The type of research carried out is qualitative descriptive with samples taken are students / students of class X. The data was obtained through teaching activities and accompanying grade X students of SMKN 1 Setu. The results showed that role-playing methods can improve student enthusiasm and learning outcomes. This method has the advantage of giving the impression of learning that is fun and not monotonous, besides that the material delivered through role play will be much more durable remembered by students.

Abstract

The household economy as the smallest part of the economic system must be managed properly so that the goal is to improve the welfare of all family members. This service was carried out in Candiwulan Adimulyo village for PKK members who are housewives to increase their knowledge about household income management. It is expected that housewives will keep records and make priority scales in grouping expenses and motivate them to increase their income by selling snacks or working informally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimization of the role of the mosque in the socio-economic development of the congregation of the Al Bayyinah Jenu Tuban Mosque in particular, and the surrounding community in general. Researchers collected data in the form of activities which are a form of socio-economic development of the congregation of the Al Bayyinah Jenu Tuban Mosque, as well as the problems faced by the mosque and congregation in the social economic development of the congregation of the Al Bayyinah Jenu Tuban Mosque. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, which places more emphasis on observing phenomena and researching more on the substance of the meaning of these phenomena. This type of research is a case study taken from field research. The results of this study are that the Al Bayyinah Jenu Tuban Mosque has potential that has not been utilized optimally related to the socio-economic development of its congregation. The activity in the form of an economic business that is run by the Al Bayyinah Jenu Tuban Mosque is the empowerment of the congregation through the activity of one Islamic boarding school one product and canteen management activities, where a well-systemized and professional managerial management is still needed.
