Jurnal Pendidikan Nusantara is a journal published by Tahta Media Group in collaboration with the Association of Muslim Community in ASEAN (AMCA). e-ISSN: 2809-6495 & p-ISSN: 2809-7041. It is a peer-reviewed journal first published in 2022. It publishes three regular editions a year scheduled for April, August, and December. This journal is publicly accessible so that all associations are permitted to peruse, download, copy, distribute, print, or link some or all of the articles free of charge and without the prior permission of either the author or the publishing group of the diary. Open to academics and researchers who wish to share articles on teaching and education. Articles that will be distributed in this journal must be based on research that has not been published in other different journals. The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to the latest outstanding developments in the field of education. It includes educational administration, guidance and counselling, educational technology, primary school teacher education, early childhood teacher education, non-formal education, special education and psychology. Published papers such as: 1. evaluation reports and research results, 2. conceptual and methodological problems, 3. the implications of the above actions, 4. Extensive book review section as well as occasional reports on educational materials and equipment.

Abstract

Education is necessary to face life in the future. In this modern era, the selection of educational institutions is necessary, so that the education institutions based on the curriculum of the trainees are in great demand. The development of the peasantry is progressing and is now widely known by society for its success in giving birth to a better generation for our nation. The organized and planned training programmes have been respected by both the public and formal institutions. The aim of this research is to investigate and evaluate the role of kyai in training management during the current era's rapid evolution. In today's era, there are many challenges faced by teachers in the management of the classroom, therefore, the teacher or the ustadz must be able to cope with the challenges in the administration of the schoolroom. The research uses methods of qualitative approach and data collection by means of observations and interviews at the Modern Cottage Arrisalah Ponorogo. As a result of this research, it is known that Kyai's role is very influential in educating her mother-in-law. Not only to act as a Kyai, but also to innovate and make changes in the management of the competition to continue to flourish in the era of technology that continues to modernize.

Abstract

The madrasah head as the person in charge of educational institutions is a leader in the field of education who bears great responsibility and influence on the development of educational institutions. In line with this, the role of the madrasah principal will have a significant impact on the progress and development of education, with the aim of improving standards and human resources in the quality of education itself. This article aims to find out the strategy and implementation of the principal's leadership to build the growth of students with Islamic character, which is carried out at MI Muhammadiyah 12 Ngampel, Balong, Ponorogo. Therefore, there is a strategy in growing quality and good character students. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach, data collection through interviews, surveys, observations and documentation. This research uses qualitative methods to capture and translate phenomena and facts related to the leadership of the principal of MI Muhammadiyah 12 Ngampel. The results of this study show there are several strategies of the principal in shaping students, namely (1) being a role model for students; (2) Conducting dhuha prayer, dhuhur prayer in congregation, Tahfidz, and BTA every day; (3) implementing honesty, this is something that will be fundamental and very important in the formation of good character for students in accordance with the guidance of Islamic teachings; (4) Developing of manners and responsibilities related to behaviour, morals, and values in interpersonal interactions as well as in the context of class and society.

Abstract

Realizing the quality of education that is good and remains controlled, there must be a national standard of school management. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe in depth, through a literature review, effective school management through Total Quality Management (TQM). The study employs a qualitative method; the data is collected using a literature review that is critically and comprehensively reviewed. TQM in program implementation requires high commitment from the members or individuals involved. The eight TQM components should ensure the success of its activities. School principals play an important role because they must be able to develop, train, and implement these eight components in the implementation of educational programmes in schools. TQM will fail if it is not based on ethics, integrity and trust. Training for TQM empowerment as well as specific technical skills are essential for program implementation as they can create a work environment conducive to program objectives. The lack of communication between sections and implementers can be a burden or obstacle in the implementation of activities.

Abstract

STAI Denpasar Bali was established in 2008. STAI Denpasar Bali emphasises the offline lecture process even though it is an independent campus. Only if it is not possible to do it offline can it be done online. Lectures in the Islamic Education course aside (KSPI) from theoretically applying practical lectures. The learning objectives are to improve the quality of being skilled at dealing with educational problems and being able to decipher solutions faced by educational institutions. Lecture strategy is a top priority. Starting from lesson planning, learning implementation, and the evaluation stage. In this study, the focus on evaluative strategies has an impact on students' solutive competence in solving problems, being able to implement theory, and being able to carry out new innovations. The evaluative strategy is meant here as a careful plan of activities to achieve specific goals. Meanwhile, solution competence is skilled at solving problems and finding solutions. This research uses an explanatory research method. These include the following value interval categories: 1. Very poor; 2. Less; 3. Enough; 4. Good; and 5. Very good. The indicator is very lacking. The design presented is irregular and does not solve the problem. On the other hand, the indicators are very good, the design is presented systematically, solves problems, can be implemented and is innovative. An analysis of the carrying capacity of activities serves as the foundation for all of this. The results of the study found that the evaluative strategy of the Islamic Education course (KSPI) had an impact on students' solutive competence and obtaining good grades.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk generasi yang memiliki akhlak mulia dan memperdalam pemahaman tentang tujuan pendidikan islam dalam konteks pembentukan generasi berakhlak mulia. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk mendalami peran pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari berbagai literatur relevan seperti buku, artikel ilmiah, dan jurnal, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Teknik ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, dan menginterpretasikan tema-tema utama yang muncul dari literatur, serta untuk memahami pola dan hubungan yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan akhlak mulia dalam pendidikan Islam. Melalui analisis ini, penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kesimpulan yang komprehensif mengenai kontribusi pendidikan Islam dalam pengembangan karakter generasi muda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan aspek-aspek yang berkontrobusi dalam pembentukan akhlak mulia, yang pertama yaitu: menanamkan aqidah yang kuat kepada Allah SWT, yang kedua mengajarkan stariah islam yang berisi panduan mora dan juga etika kehidupan, yang ketiga yaitu membina karakter melalui pembiasaan dan yang terakhir adalah menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk menumbuhkan akhlak mulia. Maka dari itu dengan memberikan pendidikan islam sedari dini diharapkan generasi muda dapat menjadi individu yang berguna bagi agama, bangsa dan negara.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the nature of man, the purpose of life, and the role of man in learning based on Islamic philosophical perspectives. The research explores how these concepts shape an Islamic educational approach that emphasises the development of the individual as a whole, empowerment, and fulfilment of human potential to create a moral and ethical human being who can combine knowledge with noble behaviour. The research method uses a qualitative approach with library research. Data collection techniques involved in-depth analyses of relevant literature, including academic journals, philosophy books, and scholarly writings on Islamic education and the concept of man. The data were analysed descriptively to understand and interpret the philosophical concept in the context of Islamic education. In the Islamic view, the results showed that humans are noble creatures before Allah SWT, with perfect physiques and extraordinary potential compared to other creatures. Humans consist of both body and mind, making them unique and cannot be treated like fully controlled robots. This research asserts that human development in Islamic education should include both physical and spiritual aspects balanced, including morals, ethics, spirituality and science. With their potential, human beings should be directed to achieve perfection as obedient servants of Allah and become individuals who benefit society and the environment. Understanding human nature from an Islamic perspective is an important basis for designing an effective and holistic Islamic education curriculum and approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pembentukan karakter dalam perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan Islam, di mana peserta didik tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan tetapi juga memahami pentingnya pendidikan karakter. Dalam pendidikan Islam, karakter diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual yang diajarkan melalui akidah, fiqih, serta sejarah umat terdahulu. Pembentukan karakter ini mencakup akhlak mulia yang diwujudkan melalui tindakan dan perilaku sehari-hari, sehingga peserta didik mampu menjalankan kehidupan yang berlandaskan etika dan ajaran agama secara konsisten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menganalisis pembentukan karakter dalam perspektif Filsafat Pendidikan Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui sumber-sumber yang tersedia di Google Scholar dan platform penelitian lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup pencatatan, pemilihan sumber yang relevan, dan studi literatur. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menelaah berbagai literatur terkait untuk memahami bagaimana karakter peserta didik dibentuk melalui prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan ini bertujuan menghindari kesalahan dalam penerapan karakter pada peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter yang baik pada siswa efektif dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Siswa menunjukkan perkembangan dalam nilai-nilai moral yang terpuji, kebiasaan positif, dan rasa tanggung jawab. Penanaman karakter ini juga berdampak pada peningkatan kreativitas dan kemandirian siswa, sehingga mereka dapat berfungsi sebagai generasi penerus bangsa yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsepsi peserta didik dalam konteks filsafat pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada karaktristik, fitrah, hak, dan kewajiban siswa sesuai ajaran Islam. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk identitas bangsa dan dalam pandangan Islam, pendidikan dianggap sebagai fondasi utama untuk pengembangan manusia yang ideal. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan filosofis dengan studi pustaka, yang melibatkan pengumpulan, pemrosesan, dan analisis data dari teks-teks klasik Islam serta literatur terkait dalam filsafat pendidikan Islam. Metode ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami secara mendalam bagaimana prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam membentuk karakter dan perilaku siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, menurut filsafat pendidikan Islam, peserta didik dianggap sebagai individu yang sedang dalam proses mencapai al-insan al-kamil, atau manusia ideal. Pendidikan Islam menekankan integrasi antara pengembangan fisik (jismiyah) dan spiritual (ruhipiyah). Siswa diharapkan untuk belajar dan menerapkan pengetahuan mereka sesuai dengan ajaran Islam untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan akhirat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dalam Islam tidak hanya berfokus pada transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang harmonis dan kesejahteraan menyeluruh. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa filsafat pendidikan Islam memberikan pandangan komprehensif tentang peran dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam proses pendidikan. Implementasi prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam dalam praktik pendidikan diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan pengembangan karakter dan identitas siswa, serta membantu mereka mencapai kesejahteraan yang seimbang di dunia dan akhirat. Dengan demikian, pendidikan dalam konteks Islam berfungsi sebagai alat untuk membentuk manusia ideal yang mampu menjalani kehidupan secara harmonis dan penuh makna.

Abstract

Evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam memiliki peran yang sangat krusial sebagai alat untuk mengukur sejauh mana siswa telah menyerap pengetahuan dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Evaluasi tidak hanya terbatas pada penilaian akademis, tetapi juga mencakup penilaian terhadap sikap, perilaku, dan integritas moral siswa. Evaluasi yang baik memberikan informasi yang diperlukan untuk pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dan menjadi dasar untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam proses pendidikan. Melalui evaluasi, pendidik dapat memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif kepada siswa, membantu mereka mengenali kekuatan dan kelemahan, serta mendorong mereka untuk mencapai potensi penuh mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana evaluasi yang efektif dapat diimplementasikan dalam pendidikan Islam dengan pendekatan filsafat Islam, sehingga mengurangi perbedaan pendapat yang mungkin muncul dan menghindari hasil yang kurang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan, di mana berbagai teori dari sumber-sumber yang relevan dihimpun untuk memberikan panduan praktis dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi yang holistik. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan ini diharapkan tidak hanya mengukur aspek kognitif, tetapi juga menilai sejauh mana siswa memahami dan menerapkan ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk sikap seperti kejujuran, keadilan, kesabaran, dan ketaqwaan, sehingga pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berhasil di ranah akademis tetapi juga dalam membentuk karakter yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

Supervisors are made specifically and systematically in order to help stakeholders improve their daily tasks in the environment of the school institution, which is later expected so that teachers and supervisors can provide the best support for the learners who accumulate knowledge also to the guardians of the students who trust their children in the school. The study aims to find out why there are gaps in supervision that occur in the school environment in the conduct of its program of activities. This research uses a method of library study that is carried out using references from a variety of sources. The results of this study show that supervising can enhance the creativity and professionalism of teachers in teaching, but found shortcomings in the path of structural supervision and no horizontal guidance. This problem can be addressed by the way the head of school as a policymaker involves teachers in decision making so that the teacher concerned can provide input on actual events in the field that they experience every day.
