Abstract

This study aims to analyze how infrastructure, which consists of electricity, sanitation, health and education, affects the poverty rate in 15 regencies/cities in Lampung Province. This study uses quantitative methods in the form of multiple regression analysis with panel data. The type of data used is secondary data from 15 districts / cities in Lampung Province for the period 2018-2022 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) which includes: percentage of poor people, percentage of households that have access to PLN electricity, percentage of households that have access to proper sanitation, average years of schooling, and life expectancy. The results of the analysis using the selected fixed effect model approach show that sanitation, health, and education have a significant negative effect on the poverty rate. This means that an increase in each infrastructure has an impact on decreasing the percentage of poor people in districts/municipalities in Lampung Province. Meanwhile, the electricity variable has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty. This means that an increase in the electricity variable has no impact on reducing poverty in districts/municipalities in Lampung Province.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of the Self-Assessment System (SAS) and Tax Audits on Tax Evasion, with Tax Morality as a moderating variable. The research was conducted at the KPP Pajak Pratama Ternate with a sample of corporate taxpayers. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to corporate taxpayers and analyzed using multiple regression to test the direct effects of SAS and Tax Audits on tax evasion and moderation regression to examine the moderating role of Tax Morality in these relationships. The results show that SAS has a significant negative effect on tax evasion, indicating that better implementation of SAS leads to lower levels of tax evasion. Tax Audits also have a significant negative effect, with more intensive tax audits reducing tax evasion. However, the moderation analysis reveals that Tax Morality does not significantly moderate the relationship between SAS and tax evasion. On the other hand, Tax Morality significantly moderates the relationship between Tax Audits and tax evasion, reinforcing the negative effect of tax audits on reducing tax evasion. This study suggests that tax authorities should prioritize strengthening oversight through effective audits and efforts to enhance tax morality. Combining well-implemented SAS, intensive tax audits, and promoting tax morality could reduce tax evasion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of moral obligation, religiosity, and attitudes on donation intention through crowdfunding platforms. Crowdfunding has become an increasingly popular fundraising method, particularly among the Indonesian community, which tends to have a high level of solidarity. Factors such as moral obligation, levels of religiosity, and individual attitudes are considered to play an important role in influencing a person’s decision to donate. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through a survey distributed to 163 respondents who have either donated or are interested in donating through crowdfunding, and data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to examine the relationships between moral obligation, religiosity, attitudes, and donation intention. The results show that moral obligation and religiosity have a significant impact on donation intention, while attitudes also play an important role but with a more moderate influence.

Abstract

This article examines the pivotal function of tacit knowledge in marketing and organizational decision-making within evolving business contexts. Tacit knowledge, which is often personal and challenging to articulate, serves as a strategic resource that enables organizations to comprehend unstated customer preferences, behaviors, and needs, thereby creating a competitive advantage. The integration of tacit knowledge into marketing strategies is crucial for organizations to respond effectively to market changes and meet customer expectations. The development of effective marketing strategies is increasingly reliant on the intuition and experience of leadership teams, which are supported by marketing analysis and strategic tools. In complex and rapidly changing business settings, a holistic and intuitive managerial approach is crucial for strategic decision-making, particularly under uncertainty. However, transferring tacit knowledge among team members poses challenges, such as a lack of trust and poor interpersonal relationships. These issues can be addressed by fostering strong communication and a culture of knowledge sharing within organizations. While technology can aid in the transfer of tacit knowledge through knowledge management systems and collaborative platforms, it must be complemented by efforts to build trust among individuals.

Abstract

The blast marketing communication strategy has become one of the effective marketing communication strategies in increasing compliance with contribution payments. Social security programs like BPJS Ketenagakerjaan play an important role in protecting workers; however, compliance with contribution payments remains low, posing a challenge that must be addressed to ensure the sustainability of the program. This internship final project aims to identify communication strategies that can be implemented to enhance compliance with contribution payments. This final project employs a qualitative approach to collect data through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The implementation of blast marketing has shown to assist in increasing participants' compliance in fulfilling their contribution obligations. From February to June 2023, there was a 1.57% increase in contribution payments. This increase indicates an improvement in the stability and orderliness of contribution payments. Therefore, it is hoped that the stability and orderliness of contribution payments can be maintained to uphold the quality and services for all participants, thereby maximizing the social security program.

Abstract

This research was conducted alongside the internship program at PT Rezeki Surya Intimakmur (PT RSI) from March 1, 2023, to June 31, 2023. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at PT RSI. The research focuses on the administrative division, which handles the maintenance project for air conditioners and generators at Starbucks. PT RSI is a contracting company that collaborates with both national and international companies. Therefore, PT RSI must maintain its credibility by consistently adhering to proper SOPs. This research uses the theory from Santosa's book entitled "Understanding S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure)" which focuses on the seven key aspects of SOP as a reference for the study. A qualitative approach was used in this research, with in-depth interviews conducted with the interviewees. The interviews were conducted to gain a deep understanding of SOP implementation. The research involved two employees from the administrative division at PT RSI. The results show that the implementation of SOPs in the administrative division at PT RSI has been running quite well. There have been no critical errors made by employees toward clients. PT RSI has fulfilled the seven key aspects of SOP within their company. The only challenge lies in the working hours of employees who are not always available to address client complaints beyond regular working hours. This issue can be resolved by addressing client complaints the following day or during regular working hours.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of financial literacy and familiarity bias on investment decisions in the capital market. A quantitative approach was utilized, with data collected via an online questionnaire from 235 respondents with investment experience, residing in Yogyakarta. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on investment decisions, and familiarity bias was found to positively affect investment decisions as well. These findings underscore the importance of enhancing financial literacy to promote more informed investment decisions, while also addressing the influence of familiarity bias, which may impede the optimization of investment portfolios. The implication is that financial literacy improvement should be a key focus for financial institutions and policymakers to enhance the quality of investment decisions within the public.
