Anxiety that occurs continuously, irrationally and increasing in intensity, can interfere with daily activities and become an anxiety disorder. The purpose of the study was to identify differences in the effectiveness of citrus aromatherapy (orange) compared to lavender aromatherapy on anxiety levels in nursing students in dealing with thesis at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, Malang. The design of the study used a quasi-experimental design using a two group pre-test-post-test design approach. Respondents in this study were nursing students who were undergoing thesis as many as 66 people, from a population of 83 people with simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used experimental intervention. Analysis using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test. The result of this analysis was that citrus aromatherapy (orange) with p-value 0.000 and lavender aromatherapy with p-value 0.000, meant that cytus (orange) aromatherapy and lavender aromatherapy both significantly reduce anxiety levels. However, there was a significant difference between citrus aromatherapy (orange) and lavender aromatherapy on the level of anxiety in students who were working on their thesis at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, Malang, which was shown with a p-value of 0.000. Abstract

The selection of health education media should be based on target tastes, broad impact, and presented in an attractive manner. Health Education on Breast Self-Examination (BSE) is generally still carried out using the conventional method, namely face-to-face (FF). This study aimed to determine the effect of health education on BSE using the Lecture Plus Animation Video Demonstration (VBL) on the knowledge and motivation of Vocational High School students. There were 80 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, 40 students in the control group with health education provided with direct FF, and the rest with VBL. The level of knowledge and motivation were obtained through a questionnaire and then the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was conducted to determine the effect of the intervention on each group, while Mann-Whitney to find out which group had better knowledge and motivation after receiving the intervention. The results showed that the Wilcoxon test in both the control and treatment groups showed p = 0.000 for the knowledge and motivation variables. Meanwhile, the Mann-Whitney test for the knowledge variable showed a p-value = 0.004 with a mean rank of 36.00 for the control group and 45.00 for the treatment group. In the motivational variable, the value of p = 0.003, and the mean rank of 46.13 in the treatment group. This meant that health education with FF methods or through VBL could increase students' knowledge and motivation, but VBL had a greater influence on increasing respondents' knowledge and motivation in doing BSE.

Abstract

Changes in lifestyle that are far from healthy living behavior are currently in line with the increase in hypertension which requires compliance efforts in drug consumption and diabetes management. Lack of knowledge is one of the factors of non-compliance in the management of hypertension. Mentoring is one way to increase knowledge. Knowing the effect of virtual mentoring on hypertension diet on dietary compliance of hypertension sufferers is the goal in this study. The design of the study was pre-experimental. A sample of 28 respondents was obtained by purposive sampling technique. The results of the study before being given virtual assistance showed most of the respondents (53.6%) had adequate hypertension diet compliance, while after virtual assistance showed almost all respondents (89.3%) complied in the implementation of the hypertension diet. The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis showed p: 0.000 and: 0.05, indicating that virtual assistance had an effect on dietary compliance with hypertension sufferers. Virtual assistance makes communication between patients and health workers more intense, both in the process of transferring information and controlling. Virtual mentoring interventions can be used as a method of heath education for health workers to improve dietary compliance with hypertension sufferers.

The instruments used were the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) and Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS). Data analysis used the Spearman Rho test. The results of the analysis found that there was a correlation between the duration of using gadgets and the social development of children with a ρ value (0.013). Children who don’t play with gadgets tend to look for playmates who can improve social development. The results of the study there is no correlation between the duration of gadget use and learning motivation in children with a ρ value (0.095). This is because children use gadgets to get lots of interesting lessons on the internet. For this reason, parents are expected to always accompany their children in using gadgets.
