Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the price of jatropha seed at farmer level in Nusa Penida island, Bali, where the location was highly potential for Jatropha seed development as the main raw material of biodiesel production. The biodiesel price wass calculated using Activity-Based Cost System method. This method calculated biodiesel’s prices more accurate because it took a detailed activities costing in the biodiesel processing. The activities consisted of the production process activities at the unit and batch levels, where the costs were grouped by activity type according to Activity-Based Cost System, then grouped again into activity cost pool. It was found that the biodiesel price was Rp. 4,076.25 per liter which was higher than the current price of Rp. 3,893.9 per liter. The calculated biodiesel prices was then calibrated against with the price of industrial diesel oil in Nusa Penida island further calculation was carried out to determine the price of dried Jathropha seeds.

Abstract

This research uses randomly generated digital data to detect modulation types. The types of modulation are tested QPSK, 16-QAM, and 64-QAM.In the characteristic extraction process uses a statistical feature set approach with the mean, varian, kurtosis and skewness, while feature selection uses Multi-Class Support Vector Machine(SVM) with 5 classes in the classification including (i)Not a feature, (ii)Mean, (iii)Varian, (iv)Kurtosis and (v)Skewness.In detecting the type of modulation in this study using Backpropagation Artificial Neural Networks by learning process used the Conjugate Gradient Polak Ribiere algorithm. This study, researcher also compared the learning with Conjugate Gradient Polak Ribiere and learning using Gradient Discent. The results of the comparison learning was 401 training data using Conjugate Gradient Polak Ribiere much better with a higher accurancy value of 86,20% and lower error rate of 13,80% in the iteration to 781, while the Gradient Discent in the same iteration the accuracy rate is 67,83% and the error rate is 32,17%. From the test results there are 4 feature groups that was able to recognize the type of modulation including (i) Mean,Variant,Kurtosis, (ii)Mean, Variant, Skewness, (iii)Variant, Kurtosis, Skewness and (iv)Mean, Kurtosis, Skewness.

Abstract

Opinion is one of the most important parts in decision making, in processing opinions require a thorough analysis process. Especially text-based opinion, where opinion in the form of opinions do not have a definite value limit for the input. Sentiment Analysis as a branch of knowledge from Text mining can be applied in the opinion analysis process in the form of text. Where opinions will be classified into 3 types of opinions, namely positive opinions, neutral opinions and negative opinions. This study grouped opinions from university graduated students using the SVM and NBC algorithms which in this study were divided into 3 main components, namely the input component, opinion grouping system, and output components.Opinion to be processed is data in the form of a * .csv format opinion file, which then conducts a grouping of opinions. Then the system produces output in the form of 3 types of opinions, namely, positive opinions, neutral opinions and negative opinions. In general, the accuracy results show the differences in the accuracy of each sentiment. From the test results generally shows the accuracy with the highest accuracy value in the NBC algorithm reaching 94.45 while the highest accuracy rate in the SVM algorithm reaches 75.76%.

Abstract

Brain tumors are one of the most deadly diseases, one of the most common types is glioma, about 6 out of 100,000 patients are glioma sufferers. Digital imagery through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one method to help doctors analyze and classify brain tumor types. However, manual classification requires a long time and has a high risk of errors, so an automatic and accurate method is needed to classify MRI images. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one of the solutions for automatic classification in MRI images. CNN is a deep learning algorithm that has the ability to learn on its own from the previous case. And from the research that has been done, the results obtained that CNN is able to complete the classification of brain tumors with high accuracy. Accuracy enhancements are obtained by developing the CNN algorithm either by determining the kernel value and / or activation function.

Abstract

The emergence of harmonics caused by electrical loads that are not linear. Input of harmonic current can cause sinusoidal. Content that exceeds the limit can cause poor power quality. The level of harmonic distortion or called Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) on the network causes losses and voltage drops, which affects the efficiency of the transmission network system. Harmonic attenuation is the right choice to reduce harmonic current (THDi). Based on the IEEE 519-1992 standard the expected harmonic current must be below 5%. In this study an active filter has been designed to be able to drain the harmonic current contained in the system using the 6 pulse converter on Statcom.

Abstract

Universities are currently implementing information technology to create bureaucratic reform. This is done because the demands of the era and information technology are increasingly growing to be more sophisticated. In higher education both management and service are supported by the role of information technology. In the application of information technology, it certainly must be supported by apparatus resources that have good performance. In higher education the application of information technology is used in managing performance and service management. The application of information technology in performance management will encourage universities to achieve their mission. While in the service process, the application of information technology will have a positive impact because services will be carried out efficiently, effectively and transparently. Information technology is applied to services to create a service that is fast, precise, efficient and professional. In addition, to create good governance in bureaucratic reform, information technology must be integrated so as to foster rapid information between units in higher education. Abstract

Basically, image compression technology is a basic step to compress images so that they can be transmitted more quickly and save storage space in storage media. This is a breakthrough that was created in 1920. This research is applied research that focuses on the application of JPEG algorithms based on the value of PSNR. This study uses X-Ray image data as input data, where the image will be searched for the optimal compression ratio of 9 compression ratios (10% -90%). A total of 10 test data were used. From the table results of system testing using test images, it can be seen that the characteristics of PSNR are able to determine the compression ratio of medical images optimally. and the higher the image compression ratio applied to the test image, the higher the quality of the reconstructed image. This can be seen in the PSNR value table, where the PSNR value increases in each compression ratio.

Abstract

Research discusses the decision support system method which is considered to be used for selection of the best time of hotel dynamic price change. The research was conducted by analyzing the results and process of applying the AHP, TOPSIS, SAW, and SMART methods in sample case of selection of the best time of hotel dynamic price change. The conclusions obtained from this research, the AHP and SAW methods have advantages in the consistency of the matrix and the calculation process compared to other methods. The writer recommends combining the AHP and SAW methods in decision support system of best time selection of hotel dynamic price change by considering matrix validity and ease of calculation process, with the hope that the decisions produced are more accurate with a less risk of errors.

Abstract

Use of Information Technology in academic activities now utilizes integrated information systems. Udayana University has used information technology on academic services into an SSO service (Single Sign On) named IMISSU. This study aims to evaluate the quality and satisfaction of IMISSU website users. The research method used a cross sectional design with a descriptive type of research. The researcher used primary data by taking data using a questionnaire. The sampling technique used in sampling is a non-probability sampling technique with an accidental sampling approach, the number of respondents obtained is 121. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman rank test. The results of the study show a high relationship between the quality of usability and user satisfaction.

Abstract

Electrical energy in the hospital is a very vital component, because most of the facilities, infrastructure and equipment of electrical energy sources. Fluctuations in patient visits affect energy spending in RSUD Klungkung District. From the audit, it was found that IKE RSUD Klungkung Regency is 141,38 kWh / m2 / year. Referring to the standard value of Asean Database Office 1990, the consumption of electric energy building RSUD Klungkung District including the category rather extravagant. From the observations made by the condition of base case trsebut caused because the building envelope that is still not optimal, air conditioner and lamps are used there are still using old technology and employee behavior that have not realized about the importance of energy saving. Based on the analysis that has been described and based on the conclusions that have been obtained, it can be suggested as follows: In order to consider possible efficiency improvements to be made, building design and maintenance and operation of the building in order to consider energy conservation.
