Abstract

ASSISTED LEARNING DAN AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION UNTUK PENGUASAAN UNDHA USUK SISWAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model assisted learning dan model auditory intellectualy repetition (AIR) terhadap penguasaan undha usuking basa bahasa Jawa pada peserta didik sekolah dasar kelas lima di Sragen. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster sampling (area sampling) selanjutnya dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling berdasarkan nilai akreditasi sekolah antara akreditasi A dan B. Pengumpulan data mengunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan teknik independent samples test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan keefektifan penggunaan model assisted learning dan AIR terhadap pengguasaan undha usuking basa. Model assisted learning lebih efektif daripada model AIR. Dengan mengkolaborasikan antara hasil analisis deskriptif dan inferensial, diketahui bahwa model assisted learning lebih efektif daripada menggunakan model AIR untuk pembelajaran undha usuking basa. Guru hendaknya menerapkan model pembelajaran assisted learning untuk meningkatkan penguasaan undha usuking basa bahasa Jawa. AbstractThis study was aimed at determining the effectiveness of THE assisted learning model and Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) model on the mastery of undha usuking basa of the fifth-grade elementary school students in Sragen. The study used the experimental method. The samples were chosen using cluster sampling and proportionate stratified random sampling techniques based on the school accreditation status between A and B. The data were collected using observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analyses with independent samples tests. The results show differences between the assisted learning model and AIR model toward the comprehension of undha usuking basa. By collaborating between descriptive and inferential analysis results, it shows that the assisted learning model is more effective than the AIR model for undha usuking basa learning. It can be concluded that the teachers should apply the assisted learning model in the teaching learning process to improve the undha usuking basa comprehension of the students.

Abstract

PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN EMOSI, REKONSILIASI EMOSI, KEAUTENTIKAN EMOSI TERHADAP EMOSI SPRITUAL MAHASISWAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan emosi, rekonsiliasi emosi, keotentikan emosi terhadap emosi spritual. Metode penelitian adalah survei yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2016 di Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). Responden berjumlah 400 orang mahasiswa UNIMED terdiri dari 200 orang laki-laki dan 200 orang perempuan yang ditentukan secara proportional random sampling. Instrumen dari setiap variabel penelitian adalah kuesioner dengan koefisien reliabilitas yang tergolong sangat tinggi. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan teknik analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan emosi secara langsung dan tidak langsung mempengaruhi emosi spritual, sedangkan rekonsiliasi emosi dan keotentikan emosi hanya memberi pengaruh langsung terhadap emosi spritual. Besarnya pengaruh langsung pengetahuan emosi, rekonsiliasi emosi dan keotentikan emosi terhadap emosi spritual mahasiswa secara berturut-turut adalah 2,82%; 9,79%; dan 2,31%. Hal ini juga mengemukakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan laki-laki dan perempuan untuk memaafkan; kemampuan perempuan untuk memaafkan lebih baik atau lebih terbuka dibandingkan laki-laki. Selanjutnya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara emosi spritual laki-laki dan perempuan; perempuan memiliki emosi spritual yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan laki-laki. AbstractThis study was aimed at determining the effect of emotional knowledge, emotional reconciliation, and emotional authenticity on spiritual emotion. The study used a survey method conducted in 2016 at Medan State University. The 400 respondents consisted of 200 male students and 200 female students chosen using the proportional random sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire with a very high reliability coefficient. The hypotheses were tested using path analysis techniques. The results show that the emotional knowledge directly and indirectly affects the spiritual emotions, while emotional reconciliation and emotional authenticity only give a direct influence on spiritual emotion. The direct influence of emotional knowledge, emotional reconciliation, and emotional authenticity on students’ spiritual emotions are 2.82%, 9.79%, and 2.31%. It also suggests that there is a significant difference in the forgiveness ability between men and women; women’s ability to forgive is better and more transparent than men’s. There are significant differences between males and females on spiritual emotion; women have better spiritual emotion than men.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN LKS KIMIA BERBASIS INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KERJA ILMIAHAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja ilmiah lewat pengembangan lembar kerja siswa berbasis inkuiri. Metode Research and Development dari Brog Gall digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Lembar Kerja Siswa yang dikembangkan memuat tahapan aktivitas belajar mulai dari merumuskan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi yang relevan, merumuskan hipotesis, membuat variabel dan defini operasionalnya berdasarkan prosedur kerja yang diberikan, melakukan percobaan, mengkomunikasikan data hasil percobaan dalam bentuk tabel atau grafik, menganalisis data, dan merumuskan kesimpulan. Hasil validasi pakar pendidikan, ahli, dan guru kimia dinyatakan bahwa Lembar Kerja Siswa valid dan layak digunakan. Berdasarkan uji coba terbatas diperoleh hasil bahwa keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa mengalami peningkatan dan reliabilitas tes keterampilan kerja ilmiah layak digunakan pada uji coba meluas. Hasil uji coba meluas menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa dengan rata-rata efek size sebesar 2,678 (sangat tinggi) dan siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap ketertarikan, keterbaharuan, dan kemudahan terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa, serta menunjukkan ketertarikan terhadap proses pembelajaran.AbstractThis study was aimed at developing inquiry-based student worksheets to improve student’s scientific process skills. The study used the Brog Gall Research and Development research method. The student worksheet contained the stages of learning activities consisting of formulating problems, gathering relevant information, formulating hypotheses, making variables and operational definition based on the work procedures, experimenting, communicating experimental data in tabular or graphic form, analyzing data, and formulating conclusion. The results show that the education experts, chemistry teachers, and experts’ validation stated that the student worksheet is valid and feasible to use. The small-scale tryout shows that the students’ scientific process skills have increased and the reliability of scientific skill work tests is feasible to be used in widespread trials. The results of the experiment show that there was an increase in the students’ scientific process skills with the average effect size of 2.678 (very high) and that the students responded positively to the interest, the renewal, and ease of the worksheets and the learning process.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR NILAI EKSTRIM BERBASIS MODEL ELICITING ACTIVITIESAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar nilai ekstrim yang didesain dengan enam prinsip model eliciting activities (MEAs) yakni reality, model construction, self-assesment, model documentation, construct shareability, re-useability, dan effective prototype. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian design research tipe development study (development research) menggunakan model pengembangan analysis, design, develompment, implementation, dan evaluation (ADDIE) dan dievaluasi dengan tahapan formative evaluation (one to one, small group, dan field test). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Palembang yang berjumlah 40 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar nilai ekstrim berbasis MEAs berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan Petunjuk Guru (PG) yang valid, praktis, dan mudah digunakan. Perangkat pembelajaran ini membantu siswa memahami konsep turunan dan nilai ekstrim serta menerapkan konsep tersebut ke dalam permasalahan nyata (real life problem) dan menarik minat serta keseriusan siswa untuk belajar nilai ekstrim dan mengeksplorasi kemampuan matematis siswa tersebutAbstractThis study was aimed at generating a set of extreme-value instructional materials using six principles of the model eliciting activities (MEAs) namely reality, model construction, self-assessment, model documentation, construct shareability and re-useability, and effective prototype. The study used the research development model using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model and was evaluated using formative evaluation phases (one to one, small group, and field test). The subjects were 40 students in grade XI of the Natural Science Department of the State Senior High School 2, Palembang. The result is a set of instructional design consisting of lesson plans, student worksheets, and teacher guides which are valid, practical, and easy-to-use. This instructional material is able to help students to understand the concept of derivatives and extreme values and apply the concepts to real-life problems. It also attracts the interest and the seriousness of the students to learn extreme values and explore their mathematical abilities.

Abstract

STANDAR UJI KOMPETENSI LULUSAN PROGRAM MAGISTER PENDIDIKAN BAHASA PERANCISAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui standar kompetensi lulusan program studi magister Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis di Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deksriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis SPS UPI sejumlah 10 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui studi pendahuluan berupa proses kajian literatur untuk menghasilkan instrumen, pengembangan instrumen dengan menyusun naskah akademik, serta kisi-kisi dan validasi instrumen. validasi dilakukan melalui penilaian instrumen oleh tenaga ahli penimbang untuk menguji keunggulan dari instrumen yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa standar kompetensi lulusan sudah sesuai karakteristik Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia dan Cadre Européen Commun de Reference pour Les Langues (Kerangka Acuan Umum Eropa untuk Bahasa). Kisi-kisi Uji Kompetensi Lulusan sudah sesuai dengan tuntutan keluasan dan kedalaman materi dan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip urgensi, kontinuitas, relevansi, dan keterpakaian.AbstractThis study was aimed at developing a competency test instrument accordance with the standards contained in KKNI and CECRL. The study carried out using the descriptive method. The subjects were 10 graduates of the French Language Department of the Indonesia Education University (IEU). Data-collection procedure included a preliminary study to review literature to design the research instrument and development and validation of the instrument. Instrument validation was conducted by expert judgement. The results of this study are expected to have utility and virtue as a reference in the design and formulation efforts graduate competency test devices, producing quality graduates who graduate professional quality and standardized according to KKNI and CECRL. The results showed the design of an academic paper has fulfilled the characteristics KKNI and CECRL, grilles Test Competency in accordance with the demands of the material and observing the principles of urgency, continuity, relevance, also the design of the device model Competency Test Graduates eligible to continue in the form of compilation and validation of items.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL EVALUASI BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI ANEKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOMPUTERAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu model evaluasi yang dapat melakukan evaluasi terhadap proses pembelajaran di bidang teknologi informasi/komputer berbasis nilai-nilai Akuntabilitas, Nasionalisme, Etika Publik, Komitmen Mutu, dan Anti Korupsi (ANEKA). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan desain pengembangan menggunakan model Borg dan Gall. Subjek yang dilibatkan dalam melakukan uji coba awal dan revisi uji coba awal terhadap model evaluasi ini sebanyak 4 orang, yaitu 2 pakar pendidikan dan 2 evaluator. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data adalah kuesioner, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model evaluasi berbasis nilai-nilai ANEKA. Melalui uji coba awal serta revisi uji coba awal menggunakan model evaluasi ini diperoleh peningkatan hasil evaluasi termasuk kategori sedang ditinjau dari komponen akuntabilitas, kategori sedang ditinjau dari komponen nasionalisme, kategori sedang ditinjau dari komponen etika publik, kategori tinggi ditinjau dari komponen komitmen mutu, dan kategori tinggi ditinjau dari komponen anti korupsi. AbstractThis study was aimed at developing an evaluation model for evaluating the learning process of computer/information technology based on accountability, nationalism, public ethics, quality commitment, and anti-corruption (ANPQA). The method used in this study was Research and Development method proposed by Borg and Gall. The subjects involved in the initial and revision trials were 4 participants namely, 2 educational experts and 2 evaluators. The instruments used in the data collection were questionnaires, interview guides, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. This study generates the evaluation model based on ANPQA values. The results of the initial and revision trial analyses show the improvement of the evaluation result categorized as medium level reviewed from the accountability, nationalism, and the public ethics components. On the other hand, it shows a high category in the terms of the quality commitment and anti-corruption components.

Abstract

FAKTOR DETERMINAN PROFESIONALISME GURUAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualifikasi pendidikan terhadap profesionalisme guru; sikap inovatif terhadap profesionalisme guru, etos kerja terhadap profesionalisme guru; dan pengaruh kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja secara simultan terhadap profesionalisme guru IPS SMP di Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal-komparatif yang bersifat ex post facto dengan melibatkan 119 guru IPS tingkat SMP, baik sekolah negeri maupun swasta, yang mengajar di Kabupaten Gowa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru. Besarnya sumbangan efektif kualifikasi pendidikan, sikap inovatif, dan etos kerja secara simultan terhadap perubahan profesionalisme guru IPS tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Gowa adalah 46,50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, kualifikasi pendidikan guru, sikap inovasi, dan etos kerja perlu ditingkatkan agar profesionalisme guru meningkat melalui penyesuaian kualifikasi pendidikan yang dimiliki dengan standar minimum yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah dan melanjutkan pendidikan yang sesuai/linear dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu sehingga dapat lebih fokus/kompeten dalam bidang tersebut.Abstract This study was aimed at determining the effects of educational qualifications on teacher professionalism; innovative attitude on teacher professionalism, work ethic on teacher professionalism; and the influence of educational qualifications, innovative attitudes, and work ethic simultaneously on the professionalism of social science junior high school teachers in Gowa District. This study was an ex-post facto causal-comparative research involving 119 social science teachers of the junior high school, both public and private, teaching in Gowa District. The data were collected using questionnaires and research hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that educational qualifications, innovative attitudes, and work ethic have significant effects on the teacher professionalism. The amount of effective contributions of educational qualification, innovative attitudes, and work ethic simultaneously to the change of professionalism of junior high school teachers in Gowa is 46.50%. Based on the results, teacher education qualification, innovation attitudes and work ethics need to be improved so that teacher professionalism increases through adjustment of educational qualification at the minimum standards set by the government and continuing education that is linear with the subjects that can be more focused/competent.

Abstract

This study was aimed at identifying the misconception of Mathematics Education students in the formulation of research methods in their proposals. This study was descriptive quantitative. The population consisted of 195 students of Mathematics Education Department, year 2014, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. The sample was collected using exhaustive sampling on the entire research population. Data were collected by documentation and closed-option questionnaires. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis. Analysis of Certainty of Response Index (CRI) was used to find out errors and misconceptions. The results show that most of the students have good understanding in the concepts of research methods. The other have misconceptions and limited understanding. The student misconceptions occur in the aspects of population, research variables, operational definitions and instrument reliability. The students do not explain fully and clearly the operational definition of the variables studied. On the aspect if reliability, errors are made by the students in the unexplained explanation of the reliability test used for the test instrument.MISKONSEPSI MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA PADA KONSEP METODE PENELITIANAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan penyusunan metode penelitian dalam penulisan proposal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Angkatan 2014 Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta sebanyak 195 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu keseluruhan populasi penelitian dijadikan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu kuesioner. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis statistik desktiptif. Analisis Certainty of Response Index (CRI) digunakan untuk mengetahui kesalahan dan miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa pada konsep metode penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa sudah memiliki pemahaman yang baik dan sebagian kecil tidak paham konsep. Miskonsepsi mahasiswa banyak terjadi pada aspek populasi, variabel penelitian, definisi operasional, dan reliabilitas instrumen. Mahasiswa tidak menjelaskan secara lengkap dan jelas definisi operasional dari variabel yang diteliti. Pada asepk reliabilitas, kesalahan yang dibuat mahasiswa yakni dengan tidak tercantumnya penjelasan uji reliabilitas yang digunakan untuk uji instrumen penelitiannya.

Abstract

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP SELF DIRECTED LEARNING READINESS DAN PRESTASI AKADEMIKAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik mahasiswa, faktor internal, dan faktor eksternal terhadap self directed learning readiness (SDLR) dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa serta menganalisis pengaruh SDLR terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain survei terhadap 111 mahasiswa tahun ke-IV Program Studi Sarjana Kedokteran Universitas Tadulako dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner untuk mengukur faktor internal, faktor eksternal, dan SDLR. Indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa digunakan untuk mengukur prestasi akademik. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat bantu analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan metode alternatif berbasis variance atau component based SEM yang disebut Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik mahasiswa dan faktor internal berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap SDLR dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa, sedangkan faktor eksternal tidak berpengaruh terhadap SDLR dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Faktor yang memberikan pengaruh yang lebih tinggi terhadap SDLR dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa adalah faktor internal. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa SDLR tidak berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian prestasi akademik mahasiswa. AbstractThis study was aimed at analyzing the influence factors of student characteristics, the internal factors, and external factors of self-directed learning readiness (SDLR) and student academic achievement as well as the influence factors of SDLR on student academic achievement. This study was conducted by using a survey design on 111 students of the fourth year of Tadulako University Medical Undergraduate Program by using questionnaires to measure internal factors, external factors, and SDLR. The students’ cumulative grade point (GPA) was used to indicate academic achievement. The data were analyzed quantitatively using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tools with alternative variance or component based SEM method called Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that the characteristics of the students and the internal factors significantly affect the SDLR and the students’ academic achievement, while the external factors have no effect on the SDLR and the students’ academic achievement. The factors that have a higher effect on SDLR and student achievement are internal factors. The results also show that SDLR does not affect the students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

STRATEGI PENINGKATAN PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN E-LEARNING PADA PROGRAM SARJANAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa Departemen Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan (MSP) terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran e-learning dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan penerapan metode tersebut pada program sarjana Departemen MSP. Responden adalah mahasiswa aktif dan dosen Departemen MSP. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah service quality (SERVQUAL), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), dan matriks importance-performance. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner yang telah diisi dan dilengkapi oleh responden. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui observasi dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung pada data-data internal. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk perumusan strategi. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata tingkat kepentingan atribut e-learning lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata tingkat kinerja atribut e-learning terkait penerapan metode pembelajaran e-learning. Departemen MSP perlu meningkatkan kinerja atribut e-learning dengan merumuskan beberapa strategi. Strategi yang direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja tersebut adalah perbaikan sarana dan prasarana pendukung e-learning, sosialisasi e-learning, dan penyediaan tenaga teknisi pengelola e-learning. AbstractThis study was aimed at analyzing the perceptions of the lecturers and students of the Water Resources Management Department (WRMD) on the application of E-learning methods and formulating the strategies to improve the application of the method. The respondents were the active students and the lecturers of WRMD. The data analysis tools used were service quality (SERVQUAL), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and importance-performance matrix. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. The primary data were obtained from the questionnaire completed by the respondents. The secondary data were obtained through observation of internal data. Data were analyzed using the descriptive techniques. The results show that the average value of the importance of E-learning attribute is higher than the average value of E-learning attribute of performance level related to the application of the E-learning method. The WRMD needs to improve the performance of E-learning attributes by creating some strategies. The recommended strategies are improving E-learning support facilities and infrastructure, conducting E-learning socialization, and providing E-learning technical assistants.
