Jurnal Keteknikan Pertanian dengan No. ISSN 2338-8439, pada awalnya bernama Buletin Keteknikan Pertanian, merupakan publikasi resmi Perhimpunan Teknik Pertanian Indonesia (PERTETA) bekerjasama dengan Departemen Teknik Mesin dan Biosistem (TMB) IPB yang terbit pertama kali pada tahun 1984, berkiprah dalam pengembangan ilmu keteknikan untuk pertanian tropika dan lingkungan hayati. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun. Penulis makalah tidak dibatasi pada anggota PERTETA tetapi terbuka bagi masyarakat umum. Lingkup makalah, antara lain: teknik sumberdaya lahan dan air, alat dan mesin budidaya, lingkungan dan bangunan, energi alternatif dan elektrifikasi, ergonomika dan elektronika, teknik pengolahan pangan dan hasil pertanian, manajemen dan sistem informasi. Makalah dikelompokkan dalam invited paper yang menyajikan isu aktual nasional dan internasional, review perkembangan penelitian, atau penerpan ilmu dan teknologi, technical paper hasil penelitian, penerapan, atau diseminasi, serta research methodology berkaitan pengembangan modul, metode, prosedur, program aplikasi, dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Inmation is important to note because it is related to potentialsurface run-08 jlood, erosion, water storage of soil, and stream discharge especially during dry season. However, because the infiltration equation is valid for certain condition of the land measured, it is important to collect infltartion data on all types of soil manually. This research is mainly to evaluate constants of infltration equation formulated by Kostiakov (constants K and n) and Philip (constants C and D) in relation with initial soil water content. The measurements are on vegetated soil and bare soil.

Abstract

Chrysant plants (Chrysantemum, sp.) as a horticulture vegetation has an estetical and economical value. Irrigation system which is used for Chrysant plants in PT Tecsuco Nusasemesta's green house are sprinkle and trickle irrigations. The water supply has to be equal with the water consumption of the plants in order to get higher water use eflciency. This research tries to calculate water use eflciency of trickle and sprinkler irrigation and its irrigation cost for chrysant plants. Water economical value is higher than before, so water consumption as one of production factor have to be planned in order to get proper benefit for every comodity. One of the methods to get the higher eflciency of water use is irrigation scheduling.

Abstract

River run ofl model using tank model has been formulated to the natural river of Cidanau, Serang, West Java. The model consists of four lanks represent four land use zones. The parameter of the tanks were optimized using the observed data of injiltration capacity, daily rainfall and daily river discharge for an entire years. The advantages of this model is determination of the Jirst tank parameter using injiltration capacity. This parameter was directlydetermined based on in3ltration measurement for the respective land use zone. The application of this model was utilized for revising the discharge data since several period of the recorded data were not accurate.

Abstract

The study on optimization of linear velocity of rotary blade and tractor forward speed ratio oil soil puddling of wetjeld rice was carried out in order to find the relationship between linear velocity of rotary blade and tractor forward speed ratio (u-v ratio) and the number of tractor's pass versus soil puddling index and tractor wheel slip during the soil puddling, and todetermine the optimum u-v ratio for rice wetjeldpreparation with certain soil classijication and condition and also with certain two wheel tractor and rotary tiller.The result, using two types of two wheel tractors and rotary tillers, showed that soil puddling was extremely afSected by puddling pass Pequency. The puddling index increased with the increasing of puddling pass prequency until the soil became puddled soil, were 0. 18 up to 0.64 forjeld test I and 0.17up to 0.67 for field test 11 in average.

Kajian tentang tanah gambut banyak di lakukan dalam rangkausaha pengembangan lahan gambut sebagai lahan pertanian. Penelitian yang mendasar tentang gambut, khususnya sifat gambut tropika di Indonesia masih sangat terbatas. Pengetahuan tentang sifat gambut tropika sangat penting karena selainsifatnya yang sangat khusus, data tersebut diperlukan apabila ingin mengembangkan lahan gambut sebagai laban pertanian.

TASAE adalah kependekan dari Tsukuba AsianSeminar on Agricultural Education, yaitu suatu seminar yang diselenggarakan setiap tahun, pertama kali tahun 1979, oleh UNESCO-APEID (AsiaPacific Programme of EducationalInnovation for Development). Abstract

Identification of plant disease is an important step to decide how it will control. This paper discusses the design and development of an expert system for identification of 12 general diseases of red pepper plant (Capsicum annum L.). Disease identification in this software system was based on the visual symptom of disease(s) in various plant growth stages, similar to the standard rules in plant protection science. The prototype of this software system was implemented by EXSYS Professional for Microsoft Windows (WINEXSYS) version 5.0 and worked under Windows '95 operation system. This software system is user-friendly and equipped by image-visualization that describe disease symptoms.

Energy is an Important factor for the success of industrialitation. and energy consumption of an industry. especially the small and medium industry. should be optimized based on the energy efficiency system. The objective of this research is to analyse the energy consumption for soybean sauce production at 'Pabrik Kecap Zebra'. Ciampea Bogor. and to evaluate the efficiency of stoves used at the industry.
