Abstract

This paper aims to present the regional geological information related to geologic structure on the Bangka island. In this paper the processing done digitally on the image of SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) by combining the value of azimuth and altitude in order to obtain the number ofalignment able delineated and recognizable become more by incorporating N0oE, N45oE, N90oE and N315oE artificial lighting as well as the value of the slope of the sun at 45o. Based on the interpretation of the results obtained Hillshade and rose diagram direction relative straightness dominant northwest-southeast trending interpreted as a manifestation of the direction stance layers,but it also contained lineament trending northeast-southwest according Margono et al. (1995) a rock folds covering Tanjung Genting Formation and Ranggam Formation, large tilt between 18o-75o and showed great intensity and there is tectonic lineament trending north-south, according to Mangga and Djamal (1994) was a fault and the fault is in the phase of the youngest as well as the fracturing horizontal cut of older faults (Crow , 2005). Straightness morphological pattern of spread and intensity level of tectonic deformation by the force in the research area is obtained by calculating the count lineament density based Geographic Information System with ArcGIS 9.3 in order to obtain density interval straightness into three classes, 0-28.72503662 km / km2 (low), 28.72503663- 57.45007324 km / km2 (medium) and 57.45007325-86.17510986 km / km2 (height) The higher the intensity, the area is assumed to be much deformed and most likely close to the structure geology. Keywords: Tektonic,Structure, Lineament, Hillshade, GIS.

Abstract

Reclamation of former mining areas is the end of mining activities (mine closure), aims torestore the function of the land according to the function and designation. The failure of former mining land revegetation program PT Timah (Persero), Tbk was influenced also by the behavior of the people around the former mining areas. Based on the theory of the environment, and human behavior that can affect the continuity of lives and welfare of the environment, so that the necessary research regarding public perceptions of the revegetation program.This study was conducted to analyze the public perception of the success of revegetation programs and the relationship revegetation program on the role of the community around the area of the former mining areas. Research conducted including descriptive qualitative research method and quote purpose sample through questionnaires, direct observations and interviews. The number of respondents was 88 people, that is: 10% of the number of families in the village of Long Riding totaling 878 households. Processing Stage data through a validation test, reliability test, then performed a correlation analysis using Spearman Rank correlation coefficient.The results showed a very strong correlation (0.771 **), the direction and the significance level of 0.01 to the statement PT Timah (Persero) Tbk has been invited and continue to exclude public participation in the implementation of all the ex-mining land reclamation with respondents not amounted to 51.14% agreed with the statement PT Timah (Persero) Tbk, always doing training, coaching and guidance for achieving succession hoarding activities, leveling and replanting former mining land to executors of the community around the former mining areas by the number of respondents 60.23 % disagree.It can be concluded that the tendency of the public perception of PT Timah (Persero), Tbk to include community participation in the implementation of all revegetation programs and training activities, coaching and direction to the achievement by implementing revegetation succession of communities around the former mining areas are still considered less and can not meet the expectations. Suggestions of this study should be of PT Timah (Persero), Tbk to improve and enhance community development methods in revegetation programs and training activities, coaching and direction to the community around the former mining areas.Key words: reclamation, revegetation, perception, participation, used land mine

Abstract

Keberadaan dan jenis manifestasi panasbumi mata air panas berperan penting dalam menentukan besarnya suhu reservoar dan dapat digunakan untuk menghitung besarnya hilang panas alamiah panasbumi (heat loss). Berdasarkan pengolahan data lapangan, diperoleh nilai geothermometer panasbumi Cisukarame berkisar 188°C-212°C. Diperoleh pula nilai heat loss daerah Cisukarame sebesar 19.367 kj/kg. Nilai hilang panas alamiah ini dapat digunakan untuk menentukan potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga panasbumi.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan air tanah yang cenderung meningkat akan mengakibatkan berbagai dampak negatif, berupa penurunan muka air tanah, penurunan mutu air, dan penurunan tanah  (Subsidence) akibat kosongnya rongga-rongga didalam tanah karena hilangnya air. Salahsatu cara untuk mengetahui stratigrafi batuan dan kondisi akuifer di dalam tanah adalah dengan teknik geolistrik, karena geolistrik merupakan alat untuk mendeteksi perlapisan batuan di dalam bumi. Untuk mengetahui perlapisan batuan dan kondisi akuifer di Desa Balunijuk maka dilakukan pendugaan geolistrik pada 4 titik sampel dengan sebaran berdasarkan topografi Desa Balunijuk, Adapun metode geolistrik yang digunakan adalah rangkaian elektroda menurut konfigurasi Wenner. Dari ke empat titik pendugaan geolistrik tersebut maka diperoleh daerah penelitian yang diwakili penampang E-F merupakan daerah paling potensial mengandung air tanah yang tersimpan dalam akuifer dangkal, dengan demikian di daerah ini dapat dilakukan kegiatan pengeboran air tanah sedangkan untuk daerah penelitian yang diwakili penampang  C-D merupakan alternatif daerah yang cukup potensial mengandung air tanah yang tersimpan dalam akuifer dangkal. Namun lapisan pasir yang mengandung air tanah di daerah ini tidak setebal lapisan pasir yang dimiliki daerah penelitian dalam penampang E-F. Sedangkan untuk Lapisan batuan di Desa Balunijuk terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu: lapisan lempung pasiran dengan nilai tahanan jenis 165-18.207 Ωm, lapisan krikil pasiran dengan nilai tahanan jenis 22,5-258 Ωm, dan lapisan lempung dengan nilai tahanan jenis 2,04-20,5 Ωm serta hasil analisis air permukaan bahwa air permukaan yang di ambil dari semua titik sampel tidak layak di jadikan sebagai sumber air baku air minum.Kata Kunci: Geolistrik, Air tanah, Air baku

Abstract

Keberadaan air pada batuan dapat mempengaruhi sifat mekanik batuan seperti kuat tekan, kuat tarik dan karakteristik kuat geser batuan.Pada operasi penambangan, baik tambang terbuka maupun tambang bawah tanah, hal ini sangat penting untuk diperhatikan karena perubahan sifat mekanik tersebut dapat menyebabkan penurunan faktor keamanan baik pada lereng maupun terowongan tambang.Penurunan faktor keamanan ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya longsoran ataupun runtuhan yang mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan, terancamnya keselamatan jiwa serta kerugian dari segi ekonomi dan waktu.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh air terhadap kohesi dan sudut gesek dalam yang berdampak pada kekuatan geser batuan.Contoh batuan berupa batugamping diambil dari lokasi penambangan batugamping di daerah Dusun Diran Desa Sidorejo Kecamatan Lendah Kabupaten Kulonprogo Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.Uji geser langsung dilakukan pada contoh batugamping dengan tiga kondisi yaitu kondisi jenuh,natural dan kering, pada contoh batugamping yang telah dipatahkan (uji geser sisa).Berdasarkan hasil pengujian di laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar air pada batugamping menyebabkan nilai kohesi sisa dan sudut gesek dalam sisa hasil uji geser langsung mengalami penurunan. Penurunan nilai kohesi sisa dan sudut gesek dalam sisa hasil uji geser langsung disebabkan karena adanya penambahan kandungan air yang menyebabkan ikatan antar partikel pada batugamping akan melemah seiring dengan meningkatnya kadar air yang terkandung pada batugamping.Kata kunci : Kohesi, Sudut Gesek Dalam, Kuat Geser

Abstract

The research area is a limestone quarry region prospect, located in Gunung Sudo, Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Safety factor of bench in limestone quarry is extremely determined by rock mass quality. The aim of this research is analyzing of rock mass strength of limestone in the quarry prospect using the Hoek-Brown failure criterion.     The research used quantitative method. To obtain rock mass strength analysis of limestone needs some parameters. The main parameters are uniaxial compressive strength of intact rock, GSI, lithology, disturbance factor, unit weight and application for slope (height).To solve this analysis is assisted by Roclab software. The Roclab is a software program for determining rock mass strength parameters based on the generalized Hoek-Brown failure criterion.     Final result of the research will be used for safely mine design of the limestone quarry.  Keywords: Rock mass strength, Limestone, Roclab.

Abstract

Mining business activities must be implemented by taking into account the principle of the living environmnet transparency, and public participation. In order to create sustainable development, the activity of mining if it is Research is done at a coal mine, and the district tabalong balangan district, south kalimantan. The results of risk assessment obtained program that has the potential negative impact of three of which is handling of the remaining fuel oil obtained score 39, a lubricant, as well as chemical the recovery of land contaminated chemical, oil, and yet obtained score 39 and monitoring of surface water and ground water obtained score 39. The aspect of the sustainability of high that is the economic aspect and social, if applied to the plan of construction is highly supportive of the map. Abstract

PT YY CBM Sekayu telah melakukan lima pengeboran sumur eksplorasi yang dilanjutkan dengan pengeboran eksploitasi untuk memproduksi gas methane batubara di Blok Sekayu.Kelima sumur tersebut yaitu sumur CBM 1# , sumur CBM 2# , sumur CBM 3# , sumur CBM 4 # dan sumur CBM 5 #. Dari kelima sumur tersebut hanya sumur CBM 2 # yang sudah berproduksi, dengan dipasang pompa untuk kegiatan dewateringdan sudah menghasilkan gas.Sumur CBM 2# memiliki kedalaman 594,36 m dan terdapat tiga lapisan batubara yaitu lapisan batubara A pada kedalaman 271,88 – 305,71 m , lapisan batubara B pada kedalaman 318,21 – 339,24 m serta lapisan batubara C pada kedalaman 521,21 – 564,79 m. Kegiatan eksploitasi CBM di sumur CBM 2# menggunakan metode cased hole completion , yaitu air dan gas diproduksi bersamaan dari ke tiga lapisan batubara tersebut. Dari hasil perhitungan gas storage capacity dengan menggunakan persamaan Langmuir , maka laposan batubara A mempunyai storage capacity sebesar 114,72 scf/ton dan storage capacity pada lapisan batubara B sebesar 332,54 scf/ton. Banyaknya kandungan air dalam lapisan butubara di sumur CBM 2# yaitu 351.212.755,44 barel.Proses dewatering bertujuan untuk menurunkan tekanan reservoir dengan cara melakukan pemompaan air dari dalam lapisan batubara, dengan turunnya tekanan reservoir maka gas methane dapat keluar dari lapisan batubara dan mengalir melalui cleat menuju sumur pengeboran. Dari data hubungan antara tekanan reservoir dengan laju produksi air dan gas pada tekanan reservoir 1000 psia produksi air sebesar 2.703,2 barel sedangkan produksi gas 398,9 scf.Seiring dengan menurunnya tekanan reservoir dari kegiatan dewatering, maka produksi gas menjadi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan produksi air. Hal ini terlihat pada saat tekanan reservoir menurun sampai pada tekanan 500 psia maka produksi gas meningkat menjadi 59.284 scf sedangkan produksi air sebesar 32.351,6 barel.Untuk menghitung recovery gas pada saat produksi gas methane batubara dapat dihitung berdasarkan grafik Langmuir yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Research site is located in Kelayang and surrounding areas, Bangka Barat Regency, Province of Bangka Belitung. Research location largely entered into PT. Timah, Tbk Contract of Work. Geographically, this area lies in 535000 – 555000 mE and 9815000 – 9835000 mN, 48S zone, with total area is approximately 400 km2, consists ofland and offshore. The rock type composed of granite rock units (Late Triassic – Early Jura) and alluvial unit (Quarter) with landform units is eroded hills, alluvial plain, and fluvial. Based on the interpretation of shallow seismic data showed basin and borehole data, the study area were filled by alluvial deposits, suspected contains tin minerals bearing. The correlation from some borehole sindicates that cassiterite mineral content in an economical quantity especially at drillholes on valley mainly in the marine (offshore). The cassiterite mineralis closely associated with the presence of the valley as a place to accumulate. Based on the drilling data which is for correlation, interpreted that there are 2 layers of sediment that contain of secondary tin depositis kaksa layer above the bedrock, and mincan layer as reworking of the kaksa layer found in finesand to clayey layer. Keyword: secondary tin, cassiterite

Abstract

Criteria of Jig Tertier’s productivity success, namely grade, recovery, and ratio of concentration in order to qualify the target of the company, which  is having 30-40% Sn grade and recovery ≥ 97%.Regarding the initial condition of jig tertier in the concentrating process on the dredge, there is often a deadlock in the screening due to the clogging of gravels. There is also a lot of ragging whose shape and relative density do not match. The length and the frequency of the stroke is also too fast, leaving the soft tin minerals with no chance to precipitate, thus it is carried away into tailing. This problem  leads  the  researcher  to  make  a  study  that  aims  to  enhance  the performance of jig, so that the company can accomplish its target, by doing an experiment of change in variables of jig tertier, which are length and frequency of the  stroke  as  well  as  the  maintenance  of  the  ragging  and  the  screen.  Other variables are assumed constant.Initially, the length of the stroke in jig tertier port is 4-5 mm, and in jig tertier starboard 5-5 mm. The frequency of jig tertier port and jig tertier starboard is around180-190 spm. The grade and recovery in jig tertier port are not meeting the desired target which is 24,25% grade with 76,6% recovery. The grade in Jig Tertier Starboard is 39,13% with 46,0% recovery.An experiment is done by altering the stroke length variable into 7-8 mm in jig tertier port, and 7-7 mm in starboard, with port’s or starboard’s frequency of 160-180 spm. The maintenance in ragging is done by selecting the size and weight of the hematite stones ragging from 4,2-4,5. The experiment resulted in an improvement in jig tertier port’s grade, which increased to 42.18% Sn with 98.2% recovery. The grade in jig tertier starboard turned into 45,49% Sn with 98.1% recovery, thus the company has achieved the desired target. Key Word : Concentration, Jig, Grade, Ratio of Concentration and Recovery
