Abstract

Background: Education has improvement impact degree of public prosperity. Public having education has ability to take choice or alternative and has is powered to increase degree of life, thereby public having level of relative education of height has opportunity larger ones to increase prosperity and would more can master science and eclectic. Purpose Of Research: To know relation between level of education with knowledge of mother primigravida trimester III about change during pregnancy in midwife Bidan Praktek Mandiri Dewi Isbat Manjung Klaten Tahun 2014. Research Method: This research type is analytic survey with approach of cross sectional. Population in this research mother primigravida trimester III in midwife Bidan Praktek Mandiri Dewi Isbat Manjung Klaten Tahun 2014. Instrument of Questionaire research, data analysis chi square. Result Of Research: That mother characteristic most of age 20 - 35 years, middle education and housewife work. Education mother most of is middle 17 (56,7%). Knowledge of pregnant mother about change during pregnancy most of enough 21 (70%). Conclusion: There is the relation level of education mother with knowledge of pregnant mother about change during pregnancy.

Abstract

Background : Exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by several factors such as aspects understanding, nutritional, educational aspects, immunological, psychological, intelligence, cost and delay pregnancy. The low level of understanding of the importance of breastfeeding during the first 6 months of birth due to lack of information and knowledge possessed by mothers about everything plus nutritional value and benefits contained in breast milk. Objective : To determine the relationshipbetween the mother's level of education on exclusive breastfeeding success in the MelatiIntegrated Service Center Beteng Village Subdistrict Jatinom District of Klaten. Research Methods : This study was a cross sectional analytic study. The population in this research were all mothers with infants aged 6 -24 months in Integrated Service Center in the Beteng Village Subdistrict Jatinom District of Klaten 38 people.The sample in this research as many as 30 people. Instrument research angket, chi square analysis of the data. The results : of the study maternal characteristics maternal age 20-35 years, parity primiparous and housewives. Mother's education level in the Integrated Service Center Beteng VillageSubdistrict Jatinom District of Klaten most basic with the percentage of 53.3%. The success of exclusive breastfeeding in the MelatiIntegrated Service Center Beteng Village Subdistrict Jatinom District of Klaten is succesed on 24 people (80%). Conclusion : There is a relationship with the mother's level of education on exclusive breastfeeding success in the MelatiIntegrated Service Center Beteng VillageSubdistrict Jatinom District of Klaten with value χ 2 = 6.563, p = 0.038 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Background : An estimated 90% of maternal deaths occur at the time of delivery and approximately 95% of the causes of maternal mortality are obstetric complications can not be predicted in advance. One way to prevent obstetric complications by knowing the estimated fetal weight by the formula Johnson. Johnson-Tohsach formula is one formula that is frequently used by midwives in knowing the estimated fetal weight. Determination of fetal weight estimates are accurate by comparing birth weight is difficult because there is no precise measuring instruments. Based on the results of the preliminary study dated December 7, 2013 obtained the data from the Independent Midwife Practice (BPM) Jayanto Benis Kujon Village, District Ceper, Klaten regency in the month of November 2013 there were 12 maternal birth weight babies have a greater than estimated fetal weight and the weight 5 babies are born smaller than the estimated fetal weight. Objective : To determine differences in the estimated weight of the fetus with birth weight Methods : The study was comperative study with cross sectional study design. Statistical test using paired t-test. The population in this study the entire maternity in March 2014. The sample in this study are all mothers who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling is total sampling with a sample of 34 mothers giving birth. RESULTS : Based on the data analysis by paired t-test p value = 0.00 (p <0.05) .The result of research is said to be significant. Which means that there is a difference between estimated fetal weight formula Johnson with birth weight. Conclusion : There is a difference in estimated fetal weight formula Johnson with birth weight.

Abstract

Background : Base don the phenomena that lack of knowledge about breastfeending mothers from pregnancy through postpartum impact on maternal attitudes which willthen afect the behavior of mothers in breastfeending. Karen edmond et al study indicate Early Initiation of Breastfeending within the first 1 hour after birth lowers risk of death 22% of infants aged 0-28 days. In contrast, delay initiation increases the risk of death. Objective : To determine the implementiation ofEarly Initiation ofBreastfeending Post-Maternity in BPM Errawati, Amd.Keb, Plawikan, Jogonalan, Klaten. Research Methods: In this study the method is observation, while the cross-sectional approach is a study to study dynamics of corelation. The sampling techniques used in this study is purposive sampling is a sampling with particular consideration. Results : The results showed that as many as 17 people (68%) were male. Birth weight in this study is the most normaly of 20 people (80%). This is because most of thebaby weight is 2500 grams to 4000 grams. Conclusión : base don the results it can be concluded that most ofthe characteristics ofthe respondents were male sex with baby newborn is a succsesful Early Initiation of Breastfeending is 20 infants (80%). Infants who are not succsesful Early Initiation of Breasfeending 5 people (20%). Success Early Initiaton of Breastfeending done by the time the baby is 20 pople (80%) with a time of 1 hour. Step Early Initiation of Breastfeending have done as many as 20 respondents (80%).

Abstract

Background : Aging is said to be success in its life if it reached life satisfaction of life. The satisfaction of life are not only someone’s ability in enjoying their experiences but also person’s the level of excitement that arise frome needing everyday and the expectations to enjoy something. Objectives : The objectives of this researcd is to know the factors that affecting of the satisfaction of life of aging in the vilage Jambakan Bayat Klaten. Research Methodology : The method of this research is the Quantitative Descriptive, The researcd is held on November 2012 until Augustus 2013, the population of this researcd are all of aging between 45-59 years old the totally 450 persons, the sample that use 82 respondents, sample was take by purposive sampling. The instruments are used Check list and Kuesioner, the analize of data are used analize univariate with Mean and Modus. Results : The incoming factor that dominates the respondents 67 respondents (81.7%), the healting that dominates the respondents, the respondents that unill for 3 month as 70 respondents (85.4%), the social factors that dominates respondents are well as 60 respondents (73.2%). Conclusions : The incoming factor, health factors, social factors are affection the life satisfation of life.

Abstract

Background : Birth injury often leads to the birth canal, the wounds are usually mild, but sometimes it happens too wide and dangerous wound. Perineal laceration occurs in almost all the first delivery and not infrequently also the next delivery. Wound care stitches that are not true can affect the wound healing process perineum, so that wound healing can happen varies, there is a normal heal (6-7 days) and there are lags in the recovery. Objective : This study aimed to determine the behavior of puerperal women about perineal wound care stitches in BPM Ny. Husnul Chotimah, Mancasan, Baki, Sukoharjo. Methods : The study used an observational study with cross sectional approach quantitatively. The population in this study is all puerperal women with perineal stitches in BPM Ny. Husnul Chotimah Mancasan, Baki, Sukoharjo. Sampling technique using the total population with a sample of 30 respondents. Behavioral measurement perineal wound care stitches using the checklist sheet, wound healing and types lochea using observation sheet. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive technique which is expressed in a percentage number. Results : Most of the way perineal care in puerperal women with perineal stitches in BPM Ny. Husnul Chotimah, Mancasan, Baki, Sukoharjo 1st March to 15 April 2014 in the category of very good (50%). Wound healing in puerperal women with perineal stitches in both categories (93.33%). Behavior of puerperal women about perineal stitches wound care is very good. Conclusion : Treatment of perineal stitches in puerperal women will be better when supported by the high level of education. The higher a person's education, the more easily receive information, so the more knowledge and less vice versa when education will hinder the development of a person's behavior to the new values introduced. Perineal wound care stitches correctly can prevent infection and speed wound healing.

Abstract

Background: The breastfeeding technique is one of influence factor mother’s milk product if breastfeeding technicque not right cause nipple rub until make mother’s unwilling breastfeeding and the infants suckle on the breast rare. If the infants suckle on the breast rare it will not good result because the infant inhaled or suck very influence enough mother’s milk product stimulus furthermore. Objective: This reaseach was aim to find the influence difference helth education simulation method proportionate simulation with poster metode about breastfeeding technique to mother wet nurse knowledge at Sajen village. Method: This was a quasi ekperiment with quantitative non equivalent control group design. The population in the reaseach was mother’ wet nurse at the Sajen village, this sample was taken with purposive sampling, with the sample of 30 respondents be based on inclusive and eksclusive criteri. The measurement of knowledge mothers wet nurse use questioner. Data processing used SPSS 16.0 program with one way anova analyze. Result: The result this reaseach showed that discover influence different between health education with simulation method and simulation with poster about the right breastfeeding technique to mother wet nurse knowledge ( Fh 5,912;Ft 3,35; p= 0,007; tukey Simulation 2,50, simulation with poster 2,70 mean difference =0,20) Conclution: Healthy education simulation with poster method about the right breastfeeding technique more influence to mother wet nurse knowledge proportion simulation method.

Abstract

BACKGROUND = The frequency of occurrence of pregnancy anemia in Indonesia is still high at around 40.1% in 2010 (IDHS 2010). January 2010 to December 2010 there were some 29 263 pregnant women in Klaten people with mild anemia criteria of 2425 people, 308 people were anemia and severe anemia 20. (DKK Klaten, 2010). Based on preliminary surveys in rural areas kalikebo in May 2011, earned third trimester pregnant women as many as 35 people, found 19 people classified as mild anemia and six people classified as moderate anemia (MCH Trucuk Health Center, 2011). These frequencies it is still quite high, it needs more intensive countermeasures to prevent the occurrence of anemia in pregnancy.The research objectives = To determine the relationship between fe tablet consumption and hemoglobin levels in pregnant third trimester region Kalikebo Trucuk, Klaten, by age, education and employment of pregnant women.Research Methods = Using the method of correlation with the approach diskrptif Cross Sectional. The study population was all pregnant women who are 32 third trimester of the respondent. Data collection techniques using koesioner who have gone through the test of validity and reliability,and performed the data analysis were processed using SPSS.16, and presented in tabular form.Results = Stats of the research results chi square test (x ²) x ² values obtained count = 21 961 on df = 1 with a rate of 5% obtained belief table x ² = 3.841 with the probability value p = 0.000, which means p <0.05.Conclusion = There is a relationship between consumption and tablet fe trimester maternal levels of hemoglobin III region Kalikebo village, District trucuk, Klaten majority of respondents consuming fe tablet correctly and hemoglobin> 11gr% of 15 persons (46.875%), and do not have anemia in pregnancy . This is because the factors age, education and employment.

Abstract

Background: Treatment includes cleaning the perineum in the female external genetalia. The procedure is usually carried out during the bath. Most women make their own perineal care areas when they are physically able. Perineal care can prevent and control the spread of infection, prevent skin damage, increase comfort and maintain the cleanliness (A.Griffin Perry and Patricia A. Potter, 2000). Based on preliminary studies by the author in February-April 2011 in Room Jasmine Dr Dr.Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten I have 359 deliveries, 290 or 80.7% of patients experiencing perineal sutures be caused due to rupture of the perineum during delivery and episiotomy scars.Methods: This type of study used is quantitative descriptive. Researchers used the study design was cross sectional. Sampling techniques in the study was purposive sampling by the number of respondents were 30 respondents. Data gathering knowledge about perineal wound care stitches using a questionnaire.Result: Based on table 4.1 above can be seen that the level of knowledge about the care she Ruling perineal stitches that qualify as either 23 people (76.67%), good enough 6 people (20.00%) and a less good one man ( 3.33%). It can be concluded that the postnatal maternal knowledge about perineal wound care either partially included in the criteriaConclusion: The level of knowledge about the care she Ruling stitches in the perineum jasmine 1 Dr Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten in either category.Suggestions: For mothers about childbirth perineal wound care stitches in one department of Dr Jasmine Room. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten to actively seek information about wound care stitches through both the local midwife and guidance to the nearest health facility.

Abstract

Background: Due to the lack of appropriate and adequate information on the breast self-examination, the students cannot make early detection on the breast cancer. It has been acknowledged that breast cancer is one of the cancers that cause the high death rate in women after cervical cancer.Objective: The general objective of the research is to investigate the effect of the health education of breast self-examination on the knowledge and attitude of the students of Midwifery Academy in Salatiga municipality. The specific objectives of the research are: (1) investigate the difference of knowledge between the students who are not taught with health education and those who are taught with health education, both prior to and following the treatment; (2) to investigate the difference of attitude between the students who are not taught with health education and those who are taught with health education, both prior to and following the treatment; and (3) to analyze the effect of health education of breast self-examination on the knowledge and attitude of the students.Method: The research used a quasi experiment with a cross-sectional research design. It was conducted at Midwifery Academy in Salatiga municipality. The data of the research were gathered through tests (pre-and post-tests), and questionnaire of Liker’s scale. The data were analyzed by using a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).Result: The results of the research show that (1) there is an effect of the health education of breast self-examination on the knowledge of the students as indicated by the value of p = 0.999 in the pre-test and that of p = 1.000 in the post test following the treatment; and (2) there is an effect of the health education of breast self-examination on the attitude of the students as indicated by the value of p = 0.999 in the pre-test and that of p = 1.000 in the post test following the treatment.Conclution: there is the influence of health education on breast self-examination knowledge and attitudes of midwifery students in the municipal salatiga.
