Abstract

Poverty is a way of entry for the new century of colonialism. Future generations should be able to fight for this nations wealth. The education of entrepreneurship is a way to reduce poverty; it is an education concept encouraging students to be creative and innovative in doing something. The pattern of such education requires learners to be productive. Entrepreneurship education is educational framework that directs learners to be quick in understanding and probing the economic and social needs of the surrounding community. Government should be willing to provide sufficient funds so that the process of entrepreneurship education can run smoothly.Even the community should be more active and intense in monitoring the development of entrepreneurial education if they want the progress of their nation, not only being a  nation of coolie by sending migrant workers abroad, mostly of them  are maid workers. This country is rich in natural resources, were it supported by resources having a high entrepreneurial spirit it would become a prosperous state so that by itself poverty would be far reduced. Poverty will evaporate into the history and transform to be memories that only can be remembered in museums.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to test and analize brand involvement ang motives consumer in the electronic-word of mouth communication engagement in social media. The kinds of electronic-word of mouth communication in social media such as writing, liking, sharing, recomending, commenting, and tweeting. The subject of this research are people who ever makes an electronic-word of mouth in social media. The object of this research are Facebook, Titter, Google+, and Alexa. The method used in the research is survey by using purposive sampling technique to 200 sosial media’s users in Indonesia that ever wrote a testimonial.. Datas analyze using SPSS and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression.  This findings shows brand involvement, product involvement, self involvement, and advice seeking  has positive and significant effect to electronic-word of mouth communication in social media, and the other hand, other involvement has positive effect but not significant, and also need for social interaction has negative effect to the electronic-word of mouth communication in social media. In means in the research, there are 4 hypothesis supported and 2 hypothesis not supported.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of management ownership, type of industry, product diversifi cation, profi tability, and fi rm age to risk management disclosure on the annual reports of the companies that listed in BEI 2010-2014. The data of this study is secondary data. Sample of this study used bank industry and manufacturing industry that listed in BEI from 2010 until 2014. Sampling methode of this study used purposive sampling and get 30 companies. The statistics methode used multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that management ownership, type of industry, profi tability, and fi rm age have no effect to risk management disclosure. This study also showed that all variables has effect to risk management disclosure and the models of the study has goodness of fi t.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of income of women traders on the domestic kiosk and analyzes the factors that influence the level of income of women traders at the kiosk households in Umbulharjo Gondomanan District and sub-district of Yogyakarta. These factors include venture capital, working hours, and the amount of labor. The test results are individually regression coefficient indicates that the variable amount of venture capital and the amount of labor a significant effect on income levels. While the variable working hours no significant effect on the level of income.

Abstract

The purpose of thisresearch is to fi nd how merger and acquisition create value for stakeholder at long-term post of an event. Testing of this welfare cannot be measured only in the short-term to avoid the bubble effect. Merger and acquisition conducted to obtain benefi ts or synergies. So the hypothesis proposed in this study is there a statistically signifi cant positive value for bidding after the merger in the long-term. But the results of this study indicate that the fallout. The result showed statistically signifi cant that the merger and acquisition do not provide for the welfare of shareholders bidder after the merger in the long-term. The research result supports several previous studies.

Abstract

The objective of this research to know whether organizational climate organizational commitment and working satisfaction have the influence to employees performance. The research held in PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative by using method survey. Data collecting conducted through questionnaire and documentation. 45 employees determined as sampel in research or conceived of a census research. Technique analyse the data use the linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. Result of research mention the organizational climate, komitmen organisasional and working satisfaction the employee own the positive and significant influence to employees performance at PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Yogyakarta. Level of influence of each variable that is organizational climate equal to 34,1%, organizational commitment give the influence equal to 57% and working satisfaction give the influence equal to 18,8%. Simultanly organizational climate, organizational commitment and working satisfaction own strong and significant influence to employee performance at PT. BPR Karangwaru Pratama Yogyakarta. This Matter is shown with the number of R square equal to 0,571 and number of significant Fcounted equal to 18,189 larger ones from number Ftable equal to 2,88 at level 0,05.

Abstract

Indonesia is a small open economy, and has a monetary policy strategy of targeting inflation in consumer prices. In this paper, we look at the evidence from the Indonesia on inflation behaviour, and examine the propositions from several theoretical models about inflation dynamics in an open economy, focussing in particular on the hypothesised connections between the exchange rate and consumer price inflation.The objective of this research is to find out whether the relationship between inflation and exchange rate in Indonesia data during the period of 2001-2010. The method of analysis used in the study is Granger Causality Model to examine the interaction between inflation and the exchange rate in the Indonesia. The results show that the Granger causality between inflation and the exchange rate is bidirectional.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between work life balance on theperformance. This research also examined the mediating role of affective commitment in a retail company in Jakarta. To fi nd answers to these problems researchers distribute a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions about work life balance, six questions about affective commitment, and 11 questions about the performance of employees to 50 employees. The sampling method used is convenience sampling. The data were processed using path analysis with statistical methods SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Basedon the results obtained path analysis, it can be concluded that the affective commitment does not mediate the relationship between work life balance to employee performance, but the direct effect proved.

Abstract

Due to the competitiveness in business world has been rising rapidly; the company must be able to enhance its performance in order to compete with other competitors. In measuring the performance, company should have a good performance measurement system that can assess the company’s performance comprehensively and appropriately. Balanced scorecard assessed to become a comprehensive and appropriate performance measurement systems that help the organization not only measure the performance but also manage the strategies. In this research, the researchers aim to analyze the current performance measurement systems applied in PT. Yokatta Indonesia as a sample. The type of research method is qualitative research and uses descriptive qualitative. Questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability by using SPSS for Windows Release 19.0. Data analysis is used triangulation in combining several qualitative and quantitative data. From the results, performance measurement system balanced scorecard is being implemented in PT. Yokatta Indonesia not appropriately with considering some factors related with management style, additional costs, and also company infrastructures.
