Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to find the factors of the Economic Faculty s magnetism for Students Candidates to continue studying at the Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. Then, this study assessed the performances of those factors after they became Economics students. The sample of the study were Economics Faculty students from three departments; Accounting, Management, and Development Economics which consisted of 64 students on different semesters as th respondents. The data were analyzed by factor analysis to find the factors which became the Economics Facultys magnetism. Then, the data were analyzed by Wilcoxon Rank Test to test the performances of those factors with the level of certainty was 95%. The result of the study showed that there were 4 main factors which became Economics Faculty magnetism, they are; 1) Superiority, 2) Promotion, 3) Location and 4) Performance. Furthermore, the respondents stated that the performance of superiority factor was not satisfying while the performances of promotion, location and per formance factors were satis fying.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to investigate the achievement of academic quality target and the proper of academic quality procedure in each department at teh Economic Faculty, Semarang State University. The research was done in Accounting, Management, Development Economic, and Economics Education Departments. The respondents were department’s leaders, including the Head of Departments. The Secretary of Deparment and The Head of laboratory in each department in each department. The data were collected by quetionnaire based on self-assessment. To identify and explain the achivement of academic quality target and the proper of academic quality procedure in each department, it was used branchmarking and root couse analysis based on the National Standard of Bachelor Study Program Accreditation/ BAN PT:2008 and International Standard SSM ISO 9001:2008. The result of the research gave empirical support that: (1) the achivement of academic quality target on students and graduetes standard was very good at the Accounting Departments; it was good at Management; it was good enough at Economics Education and Development Ecoonomics Departments. (2) the achivement of academic quality target on Human Resources standard was very good  at the Accounting Department, it was very good at Economics Education Department, and it was good enough at the Development Economics and Management Departments. (3) the achivement of academic quality target in curriculum, learning process, academic situation standard was very good at the Accounting, Management, Development Economics and Economics Education Departments, (4) the achivement quality target on facilities. Amenities and system of academic information standard was very good at the Accounting Department, it was good at the Development Economics and Economics Education and it was good enough at the Management department (5) the proper of academic procedure and the achivement of academic quality ware very good at all departments. Therefore, it is suggested for faculty’s and departments’s leader to have committment and give support for the lecturers and employees to hold the academic activities which are appropriete to the quality standard and procedure.

Abstract

Students need to understand the concepts of Human Resources Management (HRM) because it is very useful in the job world. Unfotunately, the fact showed that students were less enhusiastic in teaching and learning process of the subject. The promblem of this research was: 1) did the SQ3R method improve students’ understanding to the concept of HRM? Thus; the objective of the research was: 1) to improve the quality of HRM learning, to improve students’ enthusiasm in learning the subject, to upgrade the lecturer’s skill in developing the learning model media also to improve students’ achievement. It was a class action researchconsisted of three cycles. The result of research showed that the students’ achievement were better on each cycle. The complete learning before applying the SQ3R methode was only 0%. It increased up to 8% after applying the SQ3R methode. Furthermore, the students’ enthusiasm, livelinnes and cooperation (the ranges are among 1-4) were at good category (3.2). Similarly, the result averages of the lecturer’s skill in teaching HRM were 3.2 from the 1st cycle, 2nd cycle, and 3rd cycle by applying the SQ3R method. Based on the results above, it is suggested: 1) for the lecturers of HRM to implement the SQ3R method in teaching the subject since the method can improve students’ ability and understanding. The method gives opportunity for students to do survey, compile questions, read literature, review the concept, and discuss to other students. 2) for other researchers to continue this research on other subjects or other students.

Abstract

The objectives of the study was to find and develop the soft skill learning model based careers on Vocational High School (SMK) with Tourism Cluster through a set of tryout and validation. The soft skill development based careers was expected to improve Vocational High Schools’ graduates and fulfill the qualifications which were set by BI (Business and Industry). It was relevant to the President’s policy to improve Indonesian workers. The specific purposes of the study were: (1) to formulate the development of soft skill model design based careers on Vocational High School, (2) to find the soft skill development model based the effective careers on Vocational High Schools, (3) to compile the soft skill model guidance. This study used Research and Development approach, then continued to the field study process, developing the model design, tryout and finally, validation. At the introduction study, it was identified the values and soft skills supporting careers in business and industry. Then, those values became the foundation to (1) formulate the model design, and (2) compile the model develop the soft skills collaboratively involving the parties and stakeholders related to Vocational High Schools with Tourism Cluster, (3) create an effective model guidance. From the process of development above, it was obtained the model design and the soft skill development model guidance to improve the graduates’ careers.

Abstract

It is needed the learning media based on Macromedia Flash and Teaching Aid in the teaching learning process to improve students’ motivation and activity. It was a class action research. the subject of the research was XI grade Office Administration Students in SMKN 1 Bawang Banjarnegara. It was a cycle design which consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data were collected by questionnaire and observation sheets. The result of the study showed that the average of students motivation was 64.3% on the 1st cycle and rose to 72.0% on the 2nd cycle and then increased up to 91,2% on the 3rd cycle which was on very high category. Whereas, the students’ activities on the 1st cycle was 40% increased up to 70% on the 2nd cycle was, and rose 88% on the 3rd cycle on the very high category. Consequently, the increase of  students motivation and activities gave impact to students’ learning result. It was 69.8 with classical completeness was 54,8% on the 1st cycle, then increased up to 72,2 with the classical completeness was 83.9 on the 2nd cycle, and the finally rose to 85.2 with the classical completeness was 93.5% on the 3rd cycle.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the effectiveness of visual media based on macromedia flash MX in teaching Curriculum Study to improve students understanding. It was a class action research at Office Administration Education class consisted of 50 students. The result of the study showed that visual media based on macromedia flash MX was effective to improve students’ understanding on Curriculum Study. Moreover, it also improved students’ activeness and attention during the teaching learning process. Thus; it suggested for: (1) the institution to prepare all facilities and amenities such as LCD, computer, internet network, etc since the implementation of this media need those facilities, (2) the lecturers to master how to use the media and prepare their own materials so they can teach well.

Abstract

the accounting lectures have a big challengeb to improve the quality of graduates who are expected to have high knowledge and skill, to have good critical analysis and decision making. Thus: accounting lecturers are needed to improve their teaching and learning processes especially on learning design and assessment. Improving students knowledge and skill in accounting field can be created by using learning philosophy which makes students active and integrative in the class room. this articles discusses about the innovation of accounting learning with blended learning which collaborates cooperative learning and e-learning. Cooperative learning is a learning approach which emphasizes on structured behavior to cooperate in groups it can improve students interpersonal skill, cooperation, critical analysis and decision making. On the other hand, the application of cooperative learning needs more time so it can be solved by using computer with e-learning.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the improvement of students’ motivation and achievement with Cooperative learning at Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model. The subject of study was IV grade students in SDN Sungapan, Bantul Games Tournament (TGT) Model in the teaching learning process. The steps of procedure in conducting the research were planning, implementation, observation via questionnaire, test, interview and field notes. Then, the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the result of observation. The result of the research showed that there was improvement of students’ motivation and achievement on IV grade students of SDN Sungapan Bantul with Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model. At the beginning, the average of students’ motivation was 67.17% (average category), then it increased up to 73,35% (high category) on the 1st cycle, and rose to 80.75% (high category) on the 3rd cycle. Where as, students’ achievement at beginning was only 67.64 with classical completeness was 39.28%, and then increased up to 79.6 with classical completeness was 85.28% on the 2nd cycle. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative learning at Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model can improve student’s motivation and achievement on IV grade students in SDN Sungapan Bantul in learning Social Science.
