Abstract

The role of a teenager when flood is emergency response, teenagers are always involved in saving both livesand property. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents 15-18 years about floods,and to discover the influence of knowledge on the preparedness of adolescents 15-18 years toward floods.The research was conducted in the Village Pedurungan Kidul, District of Pedurungan, Semarang. Thesampling technique used in this study support the determination of the sample table (Isac and Michael), thusobtained is 206 samples. The analytical method used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regressionanalysis. The test results obtained simultaneously using the F statistic value of F at 177.251. At the 5% errorlevel with df 1 = 2 and df 2 = 206-2-1 = 15 obtained Ftabel = 3.04 which means that there was a significantinfluence knowledge and attitudes towards adolescent preparedness. The magnitude of the influence of bothcan be seen from the value of the determination coefficient equal to 0.636, which means that changes inpreparedness adolescents aged 15-18 years in the Village Pedurungan Kidul toward flood risk by 63.6%influenced by the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate learning model “Better Teaching and Learning (BTL)” in improvingacticities and learning result of VIII grade students of J class in SMP N 2 Demak study year 2015/2016. Itwas a Classroom Action Research which consist of Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. Datacollection methods were documentation, observation, and writing test. Data analysis method used interactivemodel of Miles and Huberman, which consist of data reduction, data presentation, and verification.This research showed that BTL method usage could increase activities and result of social science study inthe research object. Learning activity from the beginning was 62, average result after the first cycle was 75,and after the second cycle was 94. In other word, there was point increasement till 51%. In the same way,there was an improvement too in learning result, from 70 become 75 in the first cycle, and 88 after thesecond cycle, which mean that the score increased 25%. Therefore, the BTL method should be develop inother material learning. Colleagues need to review this method, than develop it within learning process.

Abstract

In this study, there are two types of environments under study , the natural environment and social environment.The purpose of this study was determine the level of education in the village housewife Klaling Jekulo District ofKudus Regency, the behavior of the housewife in the maintenance of environmental hygiene in the village Klaling,determine the relationship between the mothers level of education and household behavior in the maintenance ofenvironmental hygiene with a total population 2,539 people. The sampling technique using Random Sampling.The attitude of the housewife in the maintenance of cleanliness of the neighborhood turned out to be none noattitude with the criteria strongly disagree. And to conduct housewives already know and understand how theactions and behaviors in maintaining the cleanliness of the neighborhood. The results showed levels of educationhousewives are a number of educational level of 9.28 % Housewife (elementary school), then 22.68 % Housewifewith high enough criteria, 58.76 % Housewife with high criteria, and 9.28 % Housewife with very high criteria (college ). It can be concluded that the housewife can determine or make a change in the maintenance ofcleanliness of the neighborhood. Government needs more hygiene promotion for the sake of understanding of thehome environment quality homes.

Abstract

Angin puting beliung is a disaster which frequently happens in Indonesia. Based on National Agency ofDisaster Management (BNPB) data, it contributed 21% of all disasters in Indonesia. This study aimed todetermine appropriate learning modules to recognize angin puting beliung by utilizing maritimemeteorological information from BMKG and to determine students cognitive level in learning andunderstanding maritime meteorological information data from BMKG by using the developed module.Research conducted on Geography Education students UNNES. The method used in this research wasresearch and development (Research and Development). The research process started with a preparatorystudy, media arrangement, media validation by media and material experts. The modul feasibility wasdecalred as very feasible with average value of 78.58. The results showed that there were cognitive levelincreasement of 1st, 5th, and 7th semester Students at 29.5 (out of range 0-100). More significant improvementoccurred in the 7th semester students at 38.4 (out of range 0-100). Hence, this module feasible and proven toimprove learning outcomes of Geography Education Students of UNNES.

Abstract

Flood is one of the climate change phenomenon that often occurs in Karawang. Flood impact very big lossto the district community, mostly working in agriculture. The aim of this research is to analyze the extent ofdamage Citarum Upstream, analyzing the level of danger of flood in Karawang, and analyze thevulnerability of farmers in areas with high flood hazard. The method used in this research is the analysis ofthe level of damage Citarum upstream, analyzes the level of flood hazards and vulnerability analysis. Resultsfrom this study indicate the condition of Citarum upstream in rather bad condition, causing flooding in areasdownstream. Area in Karawang regency which has a high level of flood danger, namely the District WestTelukjambe, East Telukjambe, and District Jayakerta. Farmers in the village Karangligar susceptibilitylevels higher than the farmers in the village of Ciptamarga which is also an area with a high level of hazardof flooding. Suggestions for the solution of this research is the need to repair Citarum not only technicallybut also institutionally, the need to improve infrastructure, particularly irrigation facilities were damaged,and the need for agricultural insurance to farmers who experienced crop failure caused by flooding.

Abstract

One of the MDGs is to increase peoples access to clean water. Population growth and lifestyle needs ofwater cause Semarang rate increased rapidly while the coverage of drinking water Semarang limited (59%).By 2015 the MDG target 75% of the needs of the average supply of water about 3,442 l / s, and in 2030 ittakes 4,727 l / s at the 100% level of service. Condition of existing water sources either from the RiverGarang, ABT, baboons river continuity and quality of the constrained problem. Klambu- Kudu Channel havea channel-leakage problems is high that the discharge was not obtained in accordance with the initial designplanning. Supply conditions groundwater becoming increasingly declining so it needs a replacement sourceof water supply. Scenario SPAM Semarang to meet increasing Water Supply, described in Short-Term policy(75%) according to the MDGs in 2015, 2020 Medium Term (85%) and Long Term Semarang in 2030(100%). Development of water supply are key to SPAM derived from West Semarang Reservoir operatedJatibarang 2015 Phase I (Q = 500 LPS) and phase II in 2020 (Q = 1000Lps). In addition, there is apotential supply of river Blorong supply of 200 l / s and scout the river of 300 l / sec.

Abstract

The aim of this research which seeks: (1) Disclose the suitability of land for residential areas in District Tembalang (2)Disclose the evaluation of suitability of land for residential areas in District Tembalang and (3) Establish the area ofsettlements in the District Tembalang. Data analysis method is through the method of overlaying (overlay) maps andmethods pengharkatan (scoring). The results showed that in 313 land units District Tembalang there are three (3) classland units with three (3) the suitability of land, among others: (1) Units of land class I with land suitability VerySuitable (S1) explained that land units with conditions excellent remedy settlements. This region has an area of 1,913km2 with a percentage 2:58%, ie inhibiting factor parameter wrinkle development of land and soil bearing capacity. (2)Unit class II land with land suitability Suitable (S2) explained that land units with appropriate conditions for thelocation of settlements with little obstacle. The total area is about 68 673 km2 with a percentage of 92.57%. inhibitingfactors include parameter wrinkle development of land, the carrying capacity of the soil, the soil surface drainage,erosion, flood hazard. (3) Unit Class III lands with land suitability accordance Marginal (S3) explained that land unitswith the medium (appropriately enough) to settlements with some inhibiting factors. Inhibiting factor is the slopeparameter, flowers wrinkle land, the carrying capacity of the soil, erosion, groundwater depth, access to groundwater,the number of grooves. This region has an area of 3,597 km2 with a percentage of 4.85%.

Abstract

Kejajar District of Wonosobo Regency was one of region in Central Java Province which has landslide risk.Mountainous topographical factor, steep slope in some area, high rainfall, and low-density of vegetation wereaffected factors of high risk of landslide hazard in that region. This research aimed to determine thedistribution of landslide hazard in Kejajar. Geography Information System (GIS) technology could be used tosupport in mapping of landslide hazardous area in Kejajar District. Through overlay method of someparameter maps, it was hoped that could give imagery of landslide hazard level in study location. Hence,based on information of the map, could be analyzed to give supporting idea in term of landslide management.Based on resulted map of landslide hazard area, there were 4 (four) classification levels. Low level oflandslide hazard were in Sigendeng and Tambi Village. Medium level of landslide hazard were in KreoVillage. High level of landslide hazard was the largest area distribution, included Kejajar, Bantu, Sembungan,Serang, Parikesit, Patakbanteng, Dieng, and Igirmanak Village. While, the very high level of landslide hazardwas in Campursari, Sikunang, Tieng, and Surenggede Village.

Abstract

In the process of learning geography in MA Nahdlatusy Syubban Jepara, teachers only provide learningusing lecture to students, thus making the students become passive in the learning process .This researchaims to determine 1) Implementation of the method of Question Student Have (QSH) in class X MANahdlatusy Syubban Jepara. 2) Knowing how much of a difference in the geography of learning outcomes inclass X MA Nahdlatusy Syubban Jepara using QSH method and the lecture method. QSH method is amethod that uses a technique to use student participation through writing. The subject in this study were allstudents of class X MA Nahdlatusy Syubban Jepara, amounting to 75 students ie 37 students X-1 as a grade38 student experiments and X-2 as a control class. From the research conducted, the average studentlearning outcomes that gain learning with QSH better method than the lecture method. Based on the analysisof test gain, increase control class learning outcomes by 43% and 50.3% for the experimental class.

Abstract

Swaliba is a kind of school that have commitment and use systematic method to internalize environmentalvalue and attitude of preparedness to the disaster in every school activity. There are three stages in swalib:pilot project, development, and devotion. Every stages show the school condition and readiness to implementSwaliba Program. The Semarang 41 State Yunior High School in this time preparing becoming Swalibaschool. In this stage, school need to prepare about phyisic and non physic aspect. Besed on that needed, wehaved to do research about physical aspect assesement at Semarang 41 State Yunior High School toimplement Swaliba and than rewrite that report as an article below.The research method is survey, thanobservation the condition and compared to the physical standart measurement as disaster-resistantstructure. The result of the studi is show that Semarang 41 State Yunior High School is ready to internalizethe environtment value. At the other side, physically, the buiding at Semarang 41 State Yunior High School issafe from thunder-strom or hurricane and also earthquake but do not yet ready to facing a fire hazard. At theother side, Semarang 41 State Yunior High School in non-physic aspect consider to be quite ready toimplement Swaliba Program gradually.
