Abstract

Abstract-One of the factors affecting the level of satisfaction of tenants in a mall is the speed and accuracy of the services provided by the manager of the mall, especially in terms of the handling of complaints. Case Based Reasoning is a method to resolve the issues with respect to the same events in the past, then use the knowledge or information to solve new problems. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System with Case Based Reasoning method to improve complaint handling services to tenants mall. Results of this research is a prototype complaint management system called SIPENKOM that can generate output solutions for new cases based on similar old cases. Based on test to tenants and management of Maspion Square Mall, SIPENKOM can improve complaint handling services by approximately 85%. Keywords-Decision Support Systems, Case Based Reasoning, Similarity.

Abstract

Considering the importance of the scholarship, it is a challenge for the head of higher education institutions to make an accurate decision on giving scholarships and managing data of the recipients. However, the implementation is still less efficient in terms of time and allow for errors due to how to select and transfer of data recipients still use manual way. Decision support system is expected to improve performance and simplify the process of selection of recipients. In this research used data Bidik Misi scholarship. The input of this system is the personal data of applicants, the data of parents and academic data. Sample registries from 2013 - 2014 is used in this research. The data of applicants in 2013 are used for training. Whereas the data of applicants in 2014 are used for testing or target data. Input data will be processed using data mining techniques, C4.5 algorithm and Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MCDM) AHP-TOPSIS algorithm. The output of this system is a recommendation of applicants who are accepted and not accepted in Bidik Misi Scholarship and analysis algorithms based on performance.The test results for Bidik Misi Scholarship show that C4.5 algorithm got 85% on precision, 85% on recall and 93% on accuracy, and AHP-TOPSIS got 69% on precision, 69% on recall, and 87% on accuracy. In this research, C4.5 algorithm shows a better performance than AHP-TOPSIS algorithm.

Abstract

Subsurface temperature distribution measurement can be performed using non-contact methods such as remote sensing and other satellite imagery, and method of contact is by direct measurement at the observation area. In this research a contact method was used by injecting iron pipes equipped with sensor into the ground. The digital temperature sensor that can reduce noise, communication systems using wireless networks, and data processing system user interface were used. Result of measurement and processing of the data showed that the distribution of heat towards one of the slave due to the sunlight direct exposure was 31oC in areas without anomalies

Abstract

At the current Universita Brawijaya academic information system, recording of student attendance is still performed manually. After the lecture ended, operators must type it to input for academic data. This often led to human error, because there are a lot of data that must be entered in SIAKAD every day.Universitas Brawijaya has collaboration project with a state-owned bank as a student card provider. These cards have RFID facility. This study discusses the making of the automatic attendance system using RFID reader. This research include the design of RFID reader device, the communication SIAKAD system, and also also the analysis the possibility of system scalability. This sistem can handle simultaeous card reader tapping dince there are so many classes starting together throughout UB.The results showed that this system needs 3–23 seconds after the students start tapping the card to the reader to obtain all task and conclussion. Keywords: RFID Reader, Data Communication, Scalability architecture.

Abstract

In this study AES and Kerberos is used to optimize the security system on instant message so that a text message is sent securely through on goal. The addition and incorporation of AES with Kerberos is used to improve the efficiency of security primarily on user authentication and file encryption text message. The test results showed a AES and kerberos able to optimize the security system instant message. Percentage of instant message security system applications in the study reached 95 %, derived from the percentage of test data and the success rate error test results. AES - 256 had 14 round keys with a key length of 256 - bits, hence AES encrypted file has a powerful message.

Abstract

Abstract-The Setting of a single-phase motor rotation can be performed in various ways, such as by adjusting the frequency of the motor, the voltage, motor resistor or increasing the number of motor poles.By using astable oscillator circuit, setting a single-phase motor rotation frequency parameters can be done by setting the value variabel resistor. Thyristor trigger circuit can be used to control a single-phase motor rotation. Thyristor trigger phase angle changes, caused changes in the frequency, followed by the change of motor rotation. Changes in the value of the variable resistor in PSIM simulation produced the single-phase motor rotation frequency changes. PSIM simulation is used to analyze single-phase motor rotation of the model simulation results of the transformer output voltage.PSIM simulation can visualize electronic basic circuit and minimize the failure of real circuit. Index Terms—Frequency, PSIM simulation, Single-Phase Motor, Thyristor

Abstract

Running Text Display is an information board in order to convey any information by  running text animation. This device is updated conventionally using a PC/notebook, so the updating process required by users  only in one place. User will be difficult to update the information, if they do not stay in the place or PC devices are not available. Alternative media to update and determine new information for dynamic running text device use the  data transfer capabilities between Android smart phone and microcontroller via HC-05 bluetooth module. The process of updating the data in the form of an array of characters successful transferred between Android applications and modules running text  are 90 % reliability with the furthest distance and through a barrier of 10.5 m and 9.4 m, respectively.

Abstract

Abstract - This study describes the application of the algorithm C4.5 on decision support systems to support trainees in PPTIK STIKI Malang in choosing the appropriate type of training. Decision support system based on several criteria derived from the data filled out by participants prior to register as a participant. Further analysis using an algorithm that is used to form a C4.5 decision tree. The decision tree is a method of classification and prediction that represent rules. the rule is then developed using RGFDT (Rule Generation From Decision Tree). Results of testing done by comparing the system with Weka and showed an accuracy of 90%.Keywords—Algorithm C4.5, Decision Support System, RGFDT

Abstract

Range resolution sebagai salah satu parameter sistem radar menjadi sangat penting dan perlu ditingkatkan untuk memberikan informasi jarak target yang akurat.   Peningkatan bandwidth dapat dilakukan namun terbatas pada perangkat Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) yang digunakan dan akan memperbesar noise serta konsumsi daya sistem radar Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW).  Untuk meningkatkan range resolution, linieritas dan bandwidth sinyal output chirp keduanya berperan sangat penting  dan upaya rekayasa laju sampling untuk peningkatan range resolution masih mengalami hambatan bila didasarkan pada peak detection.   Sehingga untuk meningkatkan range resolution beberapa alternatif yang dapat dilakukan yaitu menjaga linieritas atau meningkatkan bandwidth dan bukan hanya didasarkan pada peak detection.  Pada tesis ini dibahas peningkatan range resolution tanpa meningkatkan bandwidth menggunakan metode kurva fitting dengan cara membandingkan sinyal output mixer dan menggeser frekuensi beat sinyal output mixer sampai keduanya cocok (match).   Kesalahan pengukuran range resolution dipengaruhi oleh kesalahan fasa  akibat ketidak linieran frekuensi beat, sehingga perlu dilakukan penggeseran frekuensi beat menggunakan metode kurva fitting terhadap sweep raw data (output ADC) untuk memperoleh frekuensi beat optimum (range resolution optimum).  Range resolution  untuk Radar Demonstration Kit (RDK) menggunakan metode kurva fittng diperoleh hasil peningkatan sebesar 10% dan pergeseran frekuensi beat ke kiri 1KHz. Kata Kunci : Radar FMCW, Range Resolution, Direct Digital Synthesizer, Kurva Fitting.
