Abstract

Problems of this study were (1) How do the results portrayed study biology that used the Problem Posing in class XI SMA Yapip IPA_1 SungguminasaGowa on the material digestive system? (2) How the results portrayed study biology that used the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) in class XI IPA2 SMA Yapip Sungguminasa Gowa on the material digestive system? (3) Are there differences in learning outcomes biology using the method of Problem Posing Methods Inside Outside Circle (IOC) and the students of class XI and class XI IPA1 IPA 2 SMA YapipSungguminasaGowa on the material digestive system? (1) To know the description of learning outcomes biology group using the method of Problem Posing (2) To know the description of learning outcomes biology group that used the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) (3) To determine differences in learning outcomes biology between groups using the method of Problem Posing and Method of Inside Outside Circle (IOC).This type of research is experimental. The study population was all students of class XI SMA Yapip Sungguminasa Gowa 2013-2014 school year totaling 110 students, divided into three classes. Samples were taken by simple random sampling method; the experiment was elected to class XI IPA 1 as much as 31 student elected as the control class is the class XI IPA 2 as many as 31 students. The study design used is ekspereimen-control. Data collection techniques using test instruments in the form of essay amounted to 10 numbers. Techniques of data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential analysis. Previously defined significance is = 0.05. After treatment in both the experimental group and the control class descriptive statistical analysis of the results obtained by the average result of learning biology experimental group = 75 whereas the average rat study results control class = 62. The results of inferential analysis of data using t test showed that the values obtained t_hitung = 10.74 and the value of T_ (table) amounted = 2.02 in the sense that the value t_hitung> than the value of T_ (table) or (10.74> 2.02), so it can be concluded that H_O rejected and the diterima.hal H_1 shows that there is a significant difference to the learning outcomes of students in biology teaching by using the method of Problem Posing higher than students in teaching by using Method Inside Outside Cicrcle (IOC).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas perangkat penilaian psikomotorik ditinjau dari kepraktisan. Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan perangkat dengan menggunakan model riset pengembangan tipe formatif research. Pada penelitian menggunakan satu kelas sebagai subjek penelitian dan satu kelas ujicoba small group dimana jumlah siswa pada small group hanya 20 peserta didik sedangkan pada subjek penelitian terdiri atas 40 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi instrumen, angket respon guru, lembar instrumen keterlaksanaan dan kepraktisan lembar kerja siswa dan tugas kinerja siswa. Lembar validasi instrumen digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang kevalidan instrumen, angket respon guru untuk memperoleh data kepraktisan tentang penggunaan perangkat penilaian kinerja, instrumen keterlaksanaan dan keterlayakan untuk memperoleh data kepraktisan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat penilaian kinerja peserta didik pada materi pokok sistem ekskresi telah memenuhi kriteria kualitas perangkat pembelajaran, yaitu: kepraktisan, analisis keterlaksanaan perangkat penilaian kinerja diperoleh rata-rata total 3,5 berada pada kategori “sebagian besar terlaksana” (3,5 ≤ T ≥ 4,5) dan penilaian kelayakan perangkat penilaian kinerja 3,75 berada pada kategori “sangat layak”  Kesimpulan Pengembangan perangkat penilaian kinerja peserta didik pada materi pokok sistem ekskresi dengan model pengembangan tipe formatif research dengan tiga tahap yaitu: 1) self evaluation 2) prototyping 3) field test dan perangkat ini memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine students learning outcome biology using model Reinforcement. This study is classified as a type of quasi-experimental study aimed to look at the effect of reinforcement in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Biology subjects understand the different systems in the human life. Quasi-experimental research methods using models contol nonequivalent group design. Based on the results of research in the field, shows that the administration of reinforcement (reinforcement) can significantly improve student learning outcomes of the acquisition value of the average (mean) of 47.17 pretest and post-test gain of 86.33.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran SQ4R dengan metode Talking Stick terhadap keterampilan metakognisi siswa SMA 09 Makassar; (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran SQ4R dengan metode Talking Stick terhadap hasil belajar biologi SMA 09 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ekperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 9 Makassar tahun ajaran 2012-2013. Pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan rubrik MAD untuk mengukur keterampilan metakognisi siswa dan tes hasil belajar berbentuk uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar biologi siswa. Data analisis secara deskiptif dan inferensial (statistik anakova dengan bantuan program SPSS 20,0 for Windows, dilakukan dengan taraf signifikansi 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran SQ4R dengan metode Talking Stick terhadap keterampilan metakognisi siswa, (2) Ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran SQ4R dengan metode Talking Stick terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa.

Abstract

Community activities to perform, especially marine aquaculture farming pearl oysters around Baubau municipal waters has increased. This study aims to analyze (1). hydro-oceanographic factors for the suitability of the development of pearl oyster farming in the waters of the city of Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi (2). The capacity of the land and the production capability of land for the development of pearl oyster farming based on changes in hydro oceanographic parameters. The method used is the exploratory study using survey methods and direct measurements in the field. Data were analyzed descriptively reported in the form of Tables and Figures. The results showed that after a through analysis of hydro oseangrafi waters of Baubau then obtained the appropriate areas suitable for cultivation and pearl oyster 512.31 hectares with a capacity of 409.85 hectares of land available. pearl oyster cultivation of 40 985 units with production forecast 4391.23 tons / year or as much as 133,434.80 grains / year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the test device was developed. In terms of the quality of test validity, reliability, difficulty level , determinant indeks, and effectiveness of distractors.This study used a qualitative approach to the development of research methods. Development of procedures to implement the software development model 4-D which consists of phases define, design, develop and dessiminate. The data were obtained through two criteria: (1) the validity of the data obtained through experts assessment, (2) item validity data, reliability, difficulty level , determinant indeks, and effectiveness of distractors obtained through the test results of cognitive tests. Validity of the data obtained was analyzed mathematically and categorized based on the standards set, while item validity data, reliability, difficulty level, determinant indeks, and effectiveness of distractors analyzed with the help of Microsoft Excel 2007.Validation results showed that cognitive tests have very valid category with a value of 3.54 based on experts assessment. The next conducted trials to determine the quality of the cognitive tests. In terms of item validity, valid category (92% for type A, 92% for type B), not valid (8% for type A, 8% for type B). In terms of reliability, including in the category of reliable with values about 0,71 for type A and 0,74 for type B. In terms of difficulty level, easy category (30% for type A, 22% for type B), medium category (48% for type A, 65% for type B), difficult category (22% for type A, 13% for type B) . Determinant indeks, poor category (9% type A, 4% type B), satisfactory (35% type A, 31% type B), good (52% type A, 61% type B), excellent (4% type A, 4% type B). Effectiveness of distractors, effective category (87% type A, 91% type B), not effective category (13% type A, 9% type B)

Abstract

This research aims at identifying the effect of formative assessment type towards the learning achievement of Natural Sciences. This study applied 2 x 2 factorial design experimental methods. The population of the research is all the fift grade students of elementary school number 03 and 05 of Rawamangun Eastern Jakarta, with 80 students as sample, implementing inferential statistic assessment with ANCOVA. The study concludes (1) having controlled the students prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group, which is given essay test formative assessment is difference than the achievement of those with multiple choice test, (2) having controlled the students prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group which is given essay test formative assessment is higher than the group in multiple choice tes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini digolongkan sebagai jenis penelitian pengembangan yang difokuskan untuk mengembangkan perangkat penuntun praktikum Bioteknologi berbasis inkuiri berorientasi life skills. Model pengembangan perangkat yang digunakan mengacu pada 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Proses pengembangan pada tahap define dan design menghasilkan prototipe 1 perangkat pembelajaran (rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penuntun praktikum Bioteknologi berbasis inkuiri berorientasi life skills). Pengembangan pada tahap develop, melakukan proses validasi yang menghasilkan prototipe 2 yang valid. 3. Pengembangan pada tahap disseminate, merupakan fase penyebaran perangkat yang telah ada, hasil dari tahap disseminate adalah prototipe final.Berdasarkan hasil uji coba di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa perangkat penuntun praktikum Bioteknologi berbasis inkuiri berorientasi life skills memenuhi kriteria efektif dengan indikator (1) hasil belajar memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 67 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 85% juga tercapai, (2) aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya, (3) kemampuan guru mengelola kegiatan praktikum dan pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi dan (4) respon siswa berada pada kategori positif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa perangkat penuntun praktikum Bioteknologi berbasis inkuiri berorientasi life skills memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektivan.

Theresultsgenerally are onaverage category.

Abstract

This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Baraka which employed two kinds of group experiment, namely experiment group I was taught by using cooperative learning GI model and experiment group II was taught by using PBI model. Research instruments were in the form of questionnaire to measure students’ learning motivation, test of biology learning outcomes to measure students’ ability before of after the learning process. The result shows that: (1) there is significant difference of motivation and biology learning outcomes between students who are taught using cooperative learning of group investigation (GI) model and problem based instruction (PBI) model at X grade students of SMA Negeri Baraka, where students who were taught by using GI model are highly motivated and have higher learning outcomes than students who were taught by using PBI model. (2) there is correlation between motivation and biology learning outcomes of students who are taught using cooperative learning of GI model by significant of correlation 0,786 classified on fair interpretation and PBI model by significant of correlation 0,838 classified on hight interpretation. Therefore, it is indicating that correlation between motivation and biology learning outcomes of students who are taught using cooperative learning of PBI model is higher than GI model.
