Abstract

Universities have a big role as well as a responsibility to improve the quality of human resources. However, competition between higher education providers is an obstacle to the creation of quality human resources. Having a competitive advantage is a must in facing competition as well as carrying out their roles and responsibilities. The purpose of this study is to develop and test a model that is able to explain the factors forming competitive advantage and their impact on Service Switching and Word of Mouth. Data were collected using surveys and analyzed using SEM. Questionnaires were distributed to students from ten public and private universities in five areas of Banten with a total of 1000 students as respondents. The test results show Tangible to be the most influential factor on Satisfaction. Meanwhile, Assurance is one of the service quality factors that has the greatest influence on WOM. However, of all the constructs studied, satisfaction is the factor that has the greatest influence on WOM. Next, Assurance is one of the most influential service quality factors on HEI Switching.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity ratios and leverage ratios on profitability ratios, either partially or jointly. The research was conducted on companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2014-2018 period. Involving 60 companies as the population, while the research sample is 12 companies which are determined based on purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. The results showed that liquidity and leverage partially had a significant negative effect on profitability. Simultaneously, liquidity and leverage have a significant negative effect on profitability.

Abstract

Keterampilan mengelola keuangan keluarga merupakan hal penting. Sebab ekonomi keluarga bisa menjadi masalah serius bila tidak direncanakan dengan baik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pendapatan dan literasi keuangan berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan keluarga di Desa Kolomayan Kecamatan Wonodadi. Menggunakan jenis kuantitatif dan pendekatan asosiatif, penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa survey dan sekunder yang diperoleh dari buku dan  internet. Dari rumus slovin mendapatkan jumlah sampel sebesar 98 kepala keluarga yang diambil dengan metode simple random sampling. Dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS data dianalisis menggunakan analisis asumsi klasik dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen ketika diuji secara bersama-sama, artinya secara beserta-sama pendapatan dan  literasi keuangan memengaruhi kesejahteraan keuangan keluarga. Secara parsial menunjukkan variabel pendapatan tidak memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keuangan keluarga. Sedangkan variabel literasi keuangan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga.Kata kunci: Pendapatan; Literasi; Keuangan Keluarga; Kesejahteraan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah dan mengetahui tingkat keakuratan dari model financial distress prediction menggunakan model Altman Z-Score, Springate, Zmijewski dan Grover pada perusahaan sektor pertanian yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2016-2020. Kemudian, metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang berasal dari laporan keuangan perusahaan. Populasi dari penelitian ini sebanyak 25 perusahaan dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 perusahaan dengan teknik puposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah tingkat akurasi dan type error dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Zmijewski memiliki persentase akurasi terbesar yaitu 62%, disusul dengan model Grover sebesar 26%, Altman Z-Score 20% serta Springate 6%.

Abstract

MSMEs currently have an important role to developing the national economy, some MSMEs in Bandar Lampung are Angkringan, Angkringan in Bandar Lampung have experienced a lot of decline in sales due to Covid-19, Angkringan traders still do not understand the right marketing strategy during the pandemic, the purpose of this research to evaluate the marketing strategy used by Angkringan Om Napi. This research uses qualitative research with SWOT analysis. In accordance with the results of the analysis and discussion in previous chapters, namely the most appropriate defensive strategy to be applied to the formulation of the SWOT matrix strategy combination, the strategy with the highest priority order is Strength-Opportunity (3.64). Strength-Opportunity is a strategy that (strength taking advantage of existing opportunities). There are several main suggestions that Angkringan Om Napi can consider, namely increasing competitiveness, developing innovation, collaborating with partners and that are appropriate and mutually beneficial in the cooperation.

Abstract

Work motivation is an aspect that influences the stability of a company, institution or organization. In a company sometimes there are problems of work motivation that involve employees and there are still many companies that do not understand the factors that trigger changes in work motivation of their employees, as well, the efforts that must be made to overcome motivational problems in employees. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the efforts that companies can do to maintain employee work motivation based on the factors that cause changes in work motivation. The research method that used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The output from the reseach is the form of suggestions for company policy  that can be made by company leaders to maintain and improve their employee work motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work environment and work stress on employee performance at Hotel Dalton, Makassar. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory method—sampling using a simple random sampling technique, with a total of 137 employees as respondents. The statistical method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that the work environment variable does not have a partial effect on employee performance, but the work stress variable has a partial effect on employee performance variables. Furthermore, work environment and work stress have a simultaneous influence on employee performance at Hotel Dalton, Makassar

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of tourism product to tour visiting decision on Wanderland Adventure Waterpark Karawang. This analysis using independent variabel is tourism product and dependent variabel is tour visiting decision. This is quantitative research that distributes data and questionnaires. Samples in this research were the tourist of Wonderland Adventure Waterpark Karawang and the sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total sample of 204 re-spondens. Data analysis techniques use simple linear regression by using SPSS 22. This research proves that tourism product have significant influence to tourist visiting decision. From the result, this research can be useful as knowledge and consideration for tourist attractions manager in improving quality to attract tourist visitors.

Abstract

The results of this study include an event study that intends to analyse the conditions and differences in abnormal returns,trading volume activity and market capitalization before and after the first Covid-19 vaccination in Indonesia in the infrastructure sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.In this study,a sample of 20 companies in the infrastructure sector was used.This study uses a research period of 4 days before the event,1 day at the time of the event and 4 days after the event.The research uses descriptive statistical techniques,normalitiy test (Shapiro-Wilk statistic test),one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov abnormal returns test and Wilcoxon signed rank test.The results indicate abnormal returns,trading volume activity and market capitalization the data are not normally distributed,the result indicate that there is an abnormal return  around vaccination Covid-19,the resut indicate no differences in abnormal return and market capitalization,but there are differences in trading volume activity before and after vaccination Covid-19 in infrastructure sector.

Abstract

The plantation sub-sector tends to have a large company size and a capital structure consisting mostly of debt. The purpose of this study was to determine whether company (firm) size and capital structure can affect firm value with profitability as the intervening variable. The samples used were 14 companies in the plantation sub-sector. The results show that firm size has a significant negative effect on firm value; capital structure has no effect on firm value; and path analysis prove that profitability is not able to mediate the effect of firm size on firm value, nor is it able to mediate the effect of capital structure on firm value.
