Abstract

The aims of this paper is to examine the thoughts of Prof. Dr. Muhaimin. MA about the reconstruction of Islamic education. The development of Islamic education in schools is a culture of quality and quantity and will be used as a platform, values, enthusiasm, attitudes, and behaviors for education as a lactor in the school environment. Muhaimin offers a reconstruction of Islamic education by offering a modernization paradigm in education because it was considered more ideal to be applied in the arena of the development of Islamic education. Meanwhile, the educational theory used was in accordance with the education theories of the Neo-modernists namely by continuing to actualize old theories that were still compatible with the demands times accompanied by new innovations in education. In that context, renewal of Islamic education according to Muhaimin must be done by conducting integrated and multicultural-based education. The idea of renewing Islamic education offered includes implementing Islamic Religious Education learning that is integrated with a multicultural-based approach to inquiry and Islamic education, namely developing education through the learning of contextual and research-based Islamic religion. Actualization of the thought above is based on the modernization paradigm and Neo-modernist theory both at university and at school.

Abstract

The world of education especially in terms of morals and akhlak in educational institutions shows moral degeneracy of students. This is indicated by the existence of actions that are not in accordance with the personality of a student such as brawls, drinking liquor, gambling, smoking and so forth. These deeds are not in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and as-Sunnah which are manifested in Law Number 20 of 2003 by the National Education System, Article number 3. In achieving the goals of Moral Education, efficient processes and methods are needed so that these objectives can be achieved maximally as desired. Therefore, Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor is one of the Islamic education institutions in Ponorogo that conducts the process of education and teaching and learning by instilling Moral Education values to their students (santri). The purpose of this study was to determine the application of habituation methods in the moral education of fifth-grade students of KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, as well as to know the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in their application. While the method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive study. To collect data, researchers used three methods, namely: interviews, observations, and documentaries, while in analyzing data, researchers used Miles and Huberman's theory which included three steps, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.

Abstract

Islamic Education shapes people's behavior and work in accordance with the law of God. Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution for Girls Campus 3 is an educational institution that forms its students in order to obey the law of God and the good morals with strong discipline. When the students comply with the order of boarding, indirectly it will improve discipline and students character. Therefore, the researcher intends to conduct a review of the effect of the implementation regulation of boarding to the Intensity of Discipline for Sixth Grade of Kulliyatul Muallimin Islamiyah at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution. This research method used is Quantitative Research Courses Associative Causal. The population in this research is 479 students. Determine the sample, the researcher used the method of Suharsimi Arikunto with an error rate of 25%, therefore researchers took 120 students to become the sample with Stratified Random Sampling Method. For data collection, the researchers used questionnaires and documentation. With the results of implementation of the order of the 6th grade of KMI reached an average of 92.28 with high quality, intensity disciplinary of the 6th grade KMI reached an average of 166.64 with high quality, and their influence on the intensity of the order of boarding school discipline of 6 KMI with the presentation of the results of R Square 0.423 with respect to the average value of the R Square that found there are significantly.

Abstract

Abstract: Beginning of the establishment of al-Muqodasah Islamic boarding school was only focused on memorizing the Qur'an alone, then a few years later it was required for public schools so that the students' learning time was reduced, so that problems arose in memorizing the Qur'an. The purpose of this essay is: Knowing the problem of memorizing the Qur'an, knowing how problem solving solves the Qur'an. This research is descriptive qualitative, the data collection techniques used are: Interview menthod, observer method, dokumentary method. The results of the study are as follows: The problem of memorizing the Qur'an is: Feeling lazy, having problems from the teacher, having problems with friends, having broken home problems. the needs of student are not fulfilled. Solving the problem of memorizing the Qur’an is: The teacher must be more creative so that the santri do not lazily memorize the Qur’an such as punishing those who are sleepy or sleeping, can also motivate students to occasionally not feeling bored, the teacher was required to arrive on time in order to control the student in memorizing the Qur'an, because if they were late or even not coming then the santri would carry out activities as they pleased because no one was in control, It is expected that all santri will forgive each other's mistakes, it is unlawful for parens to report to student about problems from his house, It is expected that all parens to complete their children's needs are lodged.Keywords: Al-Qur’an, teacher, student, problematic, solution. ملخص: بداية إنشاء المعهد المقدسة في عام 1992، في ذلك الوقت فقد درس المعهد، ولم تكن هناك مدرسة ابتدائية أو متوسطة أو ثانوية في المعهد، في عام 2010 كان هناك مدرسة ابتدائية أو متوسطة أو ثانوية في المعهد، فوجب بمدير المعهد لدخول تلك المدرسة في المعهد علي فصله،. أنّ زيادة الوقت لتعلّم وينقص لتحفيظ القرآن كان ظهر قضايا حفظ القرآن الكريم في معهد المقدسة فونوروكو. وأهداف البحث في هذا البحث هو: الكشف عن قضايا حفظ القرآن، الكشف عن كيف حلّ قضايا حفظ القرآن. فكان هذا البحث من بحث الكيفي، وكان البحث من نوع الدراسة الميدانية الوصفية، وللحصول على ما يحتاج إليه من المواد استخدم الباحث بثلاثة طرق هي: الملاحظة لالكشف عن النظام، والكشف عن كيف حلّ قضايا حفظ القرآن ،المقابلة لالكشف عن حلّ قضايا حفظ القرآ الكريم في معهد المقدسة فونوروكو. (3) توثيق لكشف عن تاريخ التأسيس. نتيجة البحث: قضايا حفظ القرآن الكريم في معهد المقدسة فونوروكو هي: الكسل، مشكلات الطلاب بالمدرس، مشكلات الطلاب مع أصحابه، مشكلات الطلاب في منزله، حاجة الطلاب في المعهد غير التام. حل قضايا حفظ القرآن الكريم في معهد المقدسة فونوروكو هي: لابدّ المدرس ابداعي كي طلاب لا يكسل ف حفظ القرآن مثل عاقب المدرس لمن نائم أوناعس، أخرى بالحكاية الحافز كي لا ضجر، وجب على المدرس أن يأتي في وقت التام للإشراف طلاب في حفظ القرآن، لأنّ إذا تأخّر السيّد أولا يأتي أنّ طلاب سيعمل بنفسه لأنّ ليس هناك المراقب، لابدّ على كلّ طلاب أن يسامح الخطائات من أصحابه، حرام على كل والدين أن يخبر المشكلات في المنزل إلا بالضرورة، لابدّ لكل الوالد أن يتمّ حاجة ولده في المعهد.الكلمة الرائسية: القرآن، المدرس، الطالب، قضية، حلّ

Abstract

The process of searching for identity is not always easy for some teenagers. Sometimes they cannot act in accordance with the norms of their environment. They always want to try something new, tend to be more difficult and disorganized, and get the influence of their peers that they cannot refuse. This makes them unable to obey the norms or rules that exist in their schools. They are categorized as adolescents who have a tendency of delinquency because they violate school rules and have points on violation of discipline. The object of this research was carried out in one of the vocational high schools in Ponorogo, East Java. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of Islamic guidance and counseling to reduce the tendency of juvenile delinquency. This study used experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Subjects of this study were 16 students who had tendency of juvenile delinquency (divided into experimental and control groups). Treatment for experimental group was eight sessions of Islamic guidance and counseling, while control group was conventional counseling. Analysis of Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test from the pre-test and post-test experimental group showed significance value of 0.006 (<0.05). It shows that Islamic guidance and counseling is effective to reduce the tendency of juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

Discipline is needed by humans for manage their lives and become useful for themselves and others. Discipline is also needed for an organizational success . the lives all members in student organization (OPPM), it is can't be separated from discipline. The Security Section as part of disciplinary enforcement emphasizes awareness, preventive measures and eliminates physical punishment to OPPM members. That matter to grow up awareness in OPPM members for application of discipline without a sense of compulsion. This research was conducted to determine the role of the Security section in carrying out tasks This research is a field research with descriptive qualitative type of analysis, to find data  is related to this research, researcher use 3 data collection methods,: (1) documentation method, (2) observation method and (3) interview , while  data analysis uses Spradley's qualitative data analysis, namely (1) domain analysis, (2) taxonomic analysis and (3) componential analysis. The results analysis data it was found that; (1) Discipline carried out by OPPM members is a good discipline, because they are obedient  the Security section. (2) The role of the OPPM Security Section in regulating the discipline of OPPM members consists of: (a) As a provider of ideas (Innovator), (b) As a disciplinariy (Motivator), (c) As an accelerator in the growth of  discipline awareness for OPPM members (Leader), (d) As an administrator who regulates the discipline (Manager).

Abstract

Interpersonal intelligence is dynamic and not static, influenced by environment and culture. Intelligence is not genetic. Every child has the potential to improve their intelligence. Each intelligence has the potential to develop according to the environmental conditions.  Based on this reason, living in a Pesantren environment consists of santri with heterogeneous backgrounds. The interactions are developed intensively between friends, seniors, teachers and kyai for twenty four hours, making boarding schools as an ideal place to develop interpersonal intelligence. In Pesantren they can learn to interact and understand the totality of diversity around it. This research is a qualitative research with a case study model. The object of this research is Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda Ponorogo. The purpose of this study to (1) to find out  the concept of developing interpersonal intelligence Environmental Conditioning,  Formation with understanding (insight) and Formation with role model, (2) to find out interpersonal intelligence development strategies which are; training to practice speech and listen effectively, giving a leadership role,  giving discussion meetings and deliberations, telling the good characters, providing group support Internalization of the value of the kutub Turats in daily life, and 3) to find out a theory on the interpersonal intelligence development by stimulating interactive activities which have an impact on changes in individual attitudes. With  interactive activity will create a good interpersonal communication and  changing social attitudes.

Abstract

Islamic education Institutions are very important for all students. Since how Indonesia looks can be seen in the existing education. Education must be returned to its original character, that is, to deliver students to be superior individuals in accordance with the realm of existing aspects, namely: psychomotor, cognitive and affective. This research aims at describing the implementation of training scout activities in the formation of leadership character for grade 5 and for describies, the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of scout training activities in the formation of leadership character for grade 5 students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research.  For data collection of this study the researcher used 3 instruments, namely interview, observation and documentation. This research used Miles and Huberman’s data analysis framework which included 3 steps. The results of the analysis found by the researcher with the existence of scout training activities such as scout training on Thursday, Akbar’s camp and ceremonies can add to the 5th grade for leadership character, disciplined and responsible for each event. One of the supporting factors is the large number of students who are very enthusiastic in participating in this scout traning activities and one of the inhibiting factors is the fact that scout training activities is held on the day of Thursday that day, in which many of students are tired of the intense extracurricular activities on Thursday.

Abstract

In facing the current 4.0 industrial revolution, the role of digitalization-based waqf is very much needed in solving the problems of the social economy. One of the waqf-based educational institutions that implements waqf fundraising strategies with the nature of independence in creating an economy in the digitalization era is Pesantren in Indonesia. therefore the purpose of this research is to discuss the strategy of Islamic Education Institutions (IEI) in fundraising waqf in creating economic independence in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The scope to be discussed covers aspects of management, distribution, and fundraising for endowments with the final goal referring to the willingness of the poor. The research method used is library research using conceptual approach. The results of this study indicate that the existence of a good waqf fundraising strategy undertaken by nadzir can indirectly improve the welfare of the people and can create economic independence. The strategies in waqf fundraising implemented by IEI are making long-term strategic program plans; designing a long-term budget; developing fundraising scenario (goals and strategies); identify the source of funds (waqif) through the direct and indirect method; and monitoring work results (monitoring and reporting) by reporting work results along with evaluations and future plans.

Abstract

Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution or often called Gontor is one of the Islamic boarding school educational institutions in Indonesia. Has an important role in the development of education and teaching in Indonesia even in South East Asia. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions originating from, managed by, and acting for the community. In the context of Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution, it means that the educational process involves the students as subjects rather than objects of education. They educate themselves through various activities, creativity, and social interactions that are extremely important for the formation of their soul and character. This process is deliberately pursued because in the education at Islamic boarding school which is community oriented with an educational environment the students are prepared to become members of a community that has an independent soul. The purpose of this study is to find out: methods of forming character education for sixth grade students of KMI at Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution, implementation of the formation of character education forming for sixth grade students of KMI at Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution, and problems faced in implementing the forming of character education for sixth grade students of KMI Darussalam Gontor Islamic Institution.
