Abstract

The research aims are to know: 1) the influence of learning creativity towards studyindependence; 2) the influence of study motivation towards study independence, 3)the influence of learning creativity and study motivation towards studyindependence simultaneously. The research method used is descriptive quantitative.The population is all of students of UMS in 2010/11 period around 190, sample is123 by using simple random sampling technique. Data collecting used is questionnaire that wastested and fulfilled validity and reliability requirement. Analysis data used doubled linierregression Y = 10,163 + 0,452X1 + 0,349X2, based on analysis and discussion about students ofUMS in 2010 period can be concluded that: 1) learning creativity has positive influence towardsstudy independence, with significance value 0,000 0,05. (2) study motivation has positive influencetowards study independence, with significance value 0,000 0,05. (3) learning creativity and studymotivation towards study independence simultaneously have positive influence towards studyindependence, with significance value 0,000 0,05. (4) The contribution of R2 is 0.376, it means37,6% students study independence was influenced by learning creativity and study motivationvariables, the rest is 62,4% was influenced by other factors that did not follow in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of motivation, environment, equipment and infrastructure  toward learning achievement at SMA Islam Diponegoro Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto design. Population in this research is female student of Diponegoro High School. Sample consist of 70 students. Sample was taken by random sampling method. Acquired data was accomplished through questionairre and documentation. Prerequirement technique analysis used is normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity test and heteroscedaticity test. Data analysis technique used is regression analysis, F test, T test, coeficiency determination analysis test (R2).Based on the regression analysis counting gained a result of Y equation = 47,624 + 0,0896X1 + 0,150X2 + 0,127X3, for the simultaneous significant test (F test) was gained value  for Fhitung 34,492 larger than Ftabel 2,75 with probability value 0,000 or 0,05 so Ho is rejected to be X1, X2 and X3 variable which together has significant influence to Y. Partial Significance Test (T test) for X1, X2 and X3 simulaneously for 2,083, 2,861, and 2,485 is larger than Ttabel 1,960 so the H0 is rejected to be X1, X2 and X3 variable which individually has significant influence to Y. Relative Contribution (RC) for X1 is 16,52%, X2 is 24,11% and for X3 is 20,47%.

Abstract

Teacher is the main factor in education. The teacher quality improvement is compulsory to be done in the internalization of character building. This is only can be done if teacher as a model of the students can show the good characterized personality. This article aimed to explore about how important to design teacher training to enhance teacher with smart personality.

Abstract

This paper aims to convey ideas on how to construct professionalism of Secondary Education teachers in the global era through school partnership programs. The advancement of education can be demonstrated by educators in schools through their teaching process who still do subject matter centered, but who are expected to have to do a community life centered. The author conducts information gathering and opinions as a means of resolving and understanding the importance of a school partnership to build the quality of education at school. Partnership Schools play a very important role in the development of quality education in schools, where teachers in schools are expected to know the environmental conditions of students; school principals and teachers are expected to be able to utilize existing resources in the community/public; schools must work with organizations and agencies that have important tasks for students. Increasing teacher professionalism in schools to improve education quality.

Abstract

The purpose of the study are: 1) To get a description about the condition ofeducation quality in general in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo, in order to describethe real fact of the education quality in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo; 2) to revealthe condition of students achievement in order to describe the success level of the educationquality in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo; 3) to reveal the quality management in SMA AssalaamSukoharjo that consists of classroom management, student recruitment management andlearning activity management. The research is beneficial as the consideration for theheadmaster in conducting evalution in the teaching and learning activity and as informationabout the quality management in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The research aims to 1) develop an e-learning evaluation media based on the Excel to WhatsApp application. 2) Testing the feasibility of evaluation media developed by experts. 3) Testing the feasibility of the media based on the responses of class X students in basic banking subjects at SMK N 1 Probolinggo. This development refers to the 4D model by Thiagarajan which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the review and expert validation in this study indicate that the feasibility of the media, the feasibility of evaluation, and the feasibility of the material get an average of 88% with the criteria of "very feasible" where the data is processed qualitatively with a Likert scale. The results of the questionnaire response of students obtained an average of 94% with the criteria "very feasible" where the data was processed quantitatively with the Guttman scale. Therefore, this Excel to WhatsApp based evaluation media is suitable for use as a support for learning activities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk; (1) meningkatkan pemahaman tentang analisis pendapatan nasional dengan menerapkan Teori Atribusi Weiner, (2) sejauh mana peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dari penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner, dan (3) bagaimana tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model alir dari Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian Mahasiswa semester IIa tahun ajaran 2006-2007 penempuh mata kuliah Ekonomi Makro. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, tes dan wawancara, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dari Milles Huberman.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner yang disisipkan dalampembelajaran langsung dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang analisis pendapatannasional; (2) penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 58poin, yaitu dari rata-rata 35,43 menjadi 93,43; (3) tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner sangat positif. Penerapan Teori Atribusi Weiner yang disisipkan dalam pembelajaran langsung dilakukan dengan prosedur; (1) lakukan penilaian atas hasil kerja mahasiswa secara langsung dan beri komentar dan penguatan verbal dan non-verbal untuk memberikan persepsi keberhasilan dan kegagalan. Bangga apabila hasil pekerjaannya benar dan akan malu apabila pekerjaannya tidak benar; dan (2) tumbuhkan ego-involvement di kelas dengan menyadarkan bahwa tugas yang dibebankan menjadi pertaruhan harga diri. Upaya yang dilakukan dengan menunjukkan secara terbuka atas hasil pekerjaan mahasiswa di depan kelas.

Abstract

This research discussed the difficulties of students in completing the skripsi (thesis). The research problems were the factors that cause the length of students in completing the thesis, as well as solutions to overcome the problems of old students in completing the thesis. The respondents were accounting education students of the Faculty of Teaching and Education who took courses thesis and proved by the study plan (KRS). The research used purposive sampling technique. This was a qualitative research. Data collection techniques were documentation, interviews and observation. The triangulation technique used to validate the data. The research found several factors that hinder the completion of the thesis. The first factor was the inability of students in writing; the external factor was the difficulty in communicating with the supervisor. While supporting factors were the motivation, a supportive environment and management system.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The unsuccessfulness of graduating on time is being a problem for many students in all universities. The diversity of the students’ characteristic in the learning process makes them have own strategy to complete their study. However, the key for graduating on time is not only about the students’ activeness in the lecture but also how the students’ capability in finishing their thesis as final project. Therefore, many factors (intern and extern) affect the time needed by students to complete their study.The research aimed to: (1) indentify the obstacles of graduating the study on time in the accounting department of economic faculty in Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia; (2) identify the commitment to fulfilling the requirements for graduate for whom that should have been finished; (3) analyze the obstacles factor from campus; (4) analyze the external that hamper the students to graduate; (5) Find out the students efforts to complete their study; (6) understand the students’ expectation to the department administrator for completing their study; and (7) determine the solution for students who have problems in order to graduate from the university. The survey approach was used with the students of accounting department of UNNES who late to complete their study as the source persons.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country, but imports rice, sugar, wheat flour, maize, milk powder, onions, garlic, soybeans, carrots, from abroad. In all countries of the world, agriculture is the most protected sector of the economy. Food security is important. If a country imports most of its food products from other countries to fulfill its need because the price is lower than domestic prices, then the country will become dependent in its food supply on other countries for the future. This will be dangerous. So that 21st century skills are needed towards economic intelligence in Indonesia who can be relied on in terms of national economic resilience. These skills include : Ecological: the business environtment, Psycho-sociological: internal actors of organisation, Reticulated: external human networks claimed and moblized around the project, Teleological: final purpose of the approach through strategy development,  Technological: includes all the methods, tools and techniques used for the entire process of decision support through surveillance process, information protection, or benchmarking. Economic intelligence concerns the set of concepts, methods and tools which unify all the co-ordinated actions of research, acquisition, treatment, storage and diffusion of information, relevant to individual or clustered enterprises and organisations in the framework of a strategy.
