Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Fisika melalui penerapan model konstruktivis pada mahasiswa tingkat pertama bersama pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2012/1013. Model ini dipilih sebagai salah satu upaya memperbaiki kesalahan-kesalahan konsep yang selama ini masih dirasakan bahkan sampai semester lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model konstruktivis dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Fisika yang terbukti dengan perolehan skor pretes dan postes yang meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Rata-rata perolehan skor hasil pretes sebesar 25,0 dengan skor terendah 8 dan tertinggi 58. Pada siklus I rata-rata perolehan skor hasil postes sebesar 34,9 dengan skor terendah 17 dan skor tertinggi sebesar 50. Hal ini menunjukkan telah terjadi peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 9,9 poin dan ditinjau dari gain rata-rata yang diperoleh sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 13. Rata-rata perolehan skor hasil pretes sebesar 13 dengan skor terendah 0 dan tertinggi 25. Rata-rata perolehan skor hasil postes sebesar 85 dengan skor terendah 50 dan skor tertinggi sebesar 100. Hal ini menunjukkan telah terjadi peningkatan yang sangat tinggi rata-rata sebesar 72 poin dan terjadi pada semua mahasiswa. Ditinjau dari gain rata-rata yang diperoleh sangat tinggi yaitu sebesar 83. Dari data yang diperoleh hasil pelaksanaan siklus II dengan kriteria minimum skor 70, hanya 4 orang mahasiswa memiliki skor dibawah 70 dan sisanya (82%) di atas 70 sehingga pembelajaran telah mencapai ketuntasan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry training models using interactive multimedia to the physics learning outcomes students of SMA Negeri 21 Medan. Samples were taken using the probability sampling where the experimental classes were applied to the inquiry training models using interactive multimedia while the control class implemented direct instructional models. The instruments used in this study consist of 10 questions that are validated using the validity of the contents. The data on this research is quantitative data. Data analysis techniques for testing the hypothesis used in this research use SPSS with the use of different pairs of tests. The results showed that the learning outcomes students with the inquiry training model using interactive multimedia are better than the student learning outcomes taught with the direct instructional models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran konstruktivis 5E terhadap hasil belajar siswa semester ganjil pada materi pokok Medan Magnet di Kelas XII SMA Laksamana Martadinata T.P 2011/2012. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Semester Ganjil SMA Laksamana Martadinata yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Pengambilan sampeldilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas dari kelas XII secara acak yaitu kelas XII IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis uji-t dua pihak diperoleh thitung = 4,29 sedangkan untuk ttabel = 1,669sehingga thitung > ttabel. Ini berarti Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran konstruktivis 5E terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Medan Magnet di kelas XII semester ganjil SMA Laksamana Martadinata T.P 2011/2012.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1)The results of studying physicsstudent's by learning model Inquiry Training and Direct Instruction. (2)Theresults of studying physics students who have low initial concept mastery andmastery of high initial concept. (3)The interaction between the levels ofmastery learning model with the initial concept in improving learning outcomes Physics. The study population is a private junior high schoolstudent PAB 8 Deli Serdang. The sample is random cluster class. Theinstrument used consisted of (1)initial concept mastery test, (2)Test resultsof learning with dynamic power subject matter. The next stage is to test theprerequisite analysis tests of normality and homogeneity. Results of dataanalysis showed that the samples come from populations that are normallydistributed and variances homogeneous both samples. Then test thehypothesis by using ANOVA analysis of two paths. The results showed that(1)Results of student learning in the classroom Inquiry Training better thanthe class of student learning outcomes Direct Instruction. (2)The results ofstudents' mastery of concepts that have high and low at the beginning ofInquiry Training class is better than mastery of the concept of high and lowinitial class of students in the Direct Instruction. (3)There is no interactionbetween learning model and Direct Instruction Training Inquiry with theinitial level of mastery of concepts in Physics improves learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze : (1) the students’ conceptual knowledge by using inquiry training learning model assisted mind map were better than using convensional learning, (2) the students’ science process skills by using inquiry training learning model were better than using convensional learning. This research carried out by a quasi-experimental and desaign was two group pretes-postest desaign.The population of this study was class X SMA IT As-Syafiiyah Medan. Sample selection was done by total sampling. Sample devided two class, eksperimen class by using inquiry training learning model and control class by using convensional. The instruments of this study used test conceptual knowledge and science process skills test in the form of a observations  which were valid.  The data were analyzed by using independent sample t-test. Conceptual knowledge postest results of experimental class is 75,20 and the control class is 56.87. Science process skills postest results of experimental class is 72,93 and the control class is 66,50. The result indicates the conceptual knowledge and KPS of students using inquiry training model assisted mind map is better than using convensional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the difference between the model of learning activities of students immediately ATI learning model, (2) differences in physical science students' generic capabilities between direct instructional model and learning model ATI. This study was a quasiexperimental study. The population was SMA Negeri 11 students. The sample selection is done at random to randomize the class. The instrument used consisted of: (1) observation sheet learning activity (2) tests the ability of generic science subject matter physics with dynamic power. The test is used to obtain the data is in the form essays. The data in this study were analyzed using a comparative analysis of two independent samples. The results showed that: (1) activity taught students with learning model ATI better than students who are taught using a direct instructional model (2) the ability of generic science physics students taught using learning model ATI better than students who are taught using direct instructional model.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the influence of inquiry learning training models based on the local wisdom of Toba Batak on the ability of high order thinking skills (HOTS) physics which aims to improve HOTS's abilities in physics learning. The study was conducted at two schools in the city of Medan, namely MAN 1 and SMAN 21. The type of research was quasi-experimental with two group pretest-posttest design, conducted on 67 experimental class students treated with inquiry learning training models based on Toba Batak wisdom and 67 control class students treated with conventional learning in class XI. The instrument used was the HOTS ability test in the form of an essay with 10 validated questions. The instrument is given before and after being treated. The results of the HOTS ability test were analyzed using the t-test and n-gain to calculate the improvement criteria. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test with α = 0.05 there are significant differences due to the influence of the inquiry learning training model based on the local wisdom of Toba Batak in improving HOTS in XI class physics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 3 Hinai berjumlah 40 orang yang terdiri dari 17 orang laki-laki dan 23 orang perempuan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas melalui tiga siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran koopertaif tipe Jigsaw ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri3 Hinai. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya nilai rata-rata pada setiap siklus, adanya pertambahan jumlah siswa yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM), dan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan secara klasikal. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari kondisi awal ke siklus III yaitu, dari 52,25 (kondisi awal) menjadi 59,25 (siklus I), menjadi 60,53 (siklus II), dan 65,40 (siklus III). Jumlah siswa yang memenuhi KKM yaitu 8 orang pada kondisi awal, menjadi 14 orang pada siklus I, kemudian menjadi 19 orang pada siklus II, dan menjadi 34 orang pada siklus III. Pada kondisi awal ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 20 %, kemudian pada siklus I 35%, selanjutnya pada siklus II 47,50%, dan pada siklus III 85%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini berhasil dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims at determining how HOTS-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) plays a role in increasing student innovation to create learning media. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach that was carried out in the Physics Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Darma Agung University. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a two group Pre-test and Post-test design. The research population is all sixth semester students of the Physics Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty, Darma Agung University, Medan. The sample in this study was taken by total sampling, as many as 2 classes totaling 30 people. Morning class is determined as an experimental class that is taught by HOTS-based PjBL model that consists of 15 students, Afternoon class as control class is taught using direct instruction model consisting of 15 students. The research instrument uses HOTS essay test consisting of 10 questions and innovation to create learning media in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 10 cases and has been declared valid and reliable. The resulting data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results show that HOTS-based PjBL is better applied than the direct instruction model because this learning method can increase students' innovation to create better learning media. Abstract

The purposes of the research are: (a) to determine differences in learning outcomes of students with Inquiry Training models and conventional models, (b) to determine differences in physics learning outcomes of students who have high motivation and low motivation, (c) to determine the interaction between learning models with the level of motivation in improving student Physics learning outcomes. The results were found: (a) there are differences in physical students learning outcomes are taught by Inquiry Training models and conventional models. (b) learning outcomes of students who are taught by Inquiry Learning Model Training better than student learning outcomes are taught with conventional model. (c) there is a difference in student's learning outcomes that have high motivation and low motivation. (d) Student learning outcomes that have a high motivation better than student learning outcomes than have a low motivation. (e) there is interaction between learning and motivation to student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes of students who are taught by the model is influenced also by the motivation, while learning outcomes of students who are taught with conventional models are not affected by motivation.
