Abstract

Achievement of learning depends on process learning that done. The determinant factor is teacher. Teacher has important role in the learning process in the school or Islamic School. Beside teacher, students also inflences, because student is the subject of learning. Because the essence of learning is a process of communicating; is the process of transferring message (Subject Matter) from the source of message (teacher) to the receiver (students). To avoid the fault in the transferring knowledge, neededa media to transferring message from the sender to the receiver that called by media of learning.By using media of learning suggested to makes more easily for student to receive knowledge well, so that there is no misunderstanding when receive the message from teacher. The ability of teacher to determine the media is very important and needed. Teacher must selective to determine the media of learning that used, because not all media of learning appropriate with condition. Teacher must choose media of learning that appropriate with context/needs, both of material and students.Keywords: Media of learning, Style of learning.

Abstract

Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang as Educational institute of teacher training has participatedin educating the students to be a professional teachers atelementary, junior and senior high schools. One of the way to realize it is through conducting teaching practicum in micro-teaching atcampus and integrated teaching practicum program at madrasah and schools.This research isto know how was the guidance teachers and principals of madrasahs and schools towards the competences of students in conducting integrated teaching practicum program at madrasah and schools. It used survey design because it was inflenced by the development of socials and eduational policy.The results of this research showed that the evaluation of guidance teachers and principals of madrasahs and schoolstowards the competences of the students in conducting integrated teaching practicum program at madrasah and schools was good.Keywords: profesional, personal, dan social competence.

Abstract

Knowledge always develops from the beginning until now. It is appears immediately along with the process of human thinking. At fist knowledge is gained by the way of informal process of thinking, not related with existing methods. Then various changes have been done by fiures that appearafter doing organized towards knowledge that found by them. In the next development, human being makes knowledge as the result of thinking which is defiitely scientifi and is appropriate with procedure of human thinkingthat mentioned in the rules of the syllogism think. From several methods of obtaining knowledge, among of them are rasionaslime method, empiric, phenomenalism, intusionalism, and scientifi method, while elements inthe scientifi method as scientifi research among other through several procedures, such as formulation of problem, proposing a hypothesis, testing a hypothesis with empirical fact, and making a decision.Keywords : Science, Procedure, Knowledge, and Scientifi Method.

Abstract

Madrasa as an institution of Islamic education was an idea and a brilliant achievements in the fith century AH. With its uniqueness, during the Abbasiyah caliphate in Baghdad, madrassas became par - excellence educational institutions. After development and kuttab mosques, madrassas was growing very rapidly. Mirror at that time, the pattern of Islamic education has many variants, and almost all educational institutions when it received full support from the government in the fild of fiance. This was the cause of science and technology was growing rapidly. The madrassas which makes it very important function is the completeness of his room to study, known as muhadharah rooms and buildings associated with it,security for students and teachers. Abstract

Teaching and learning approaches practiced by educators today must be different to suit the contents and time. Lecturers-teaching focused on student-centered teaching should be encouraged and emphasized as highly active student involvement is required during the process of teaching and learning. Active student involvement will form the interest of students to explore knowledge. The purpose of this study is to get the students’ perception of the lecturers’ teaching and students’ learning experiences. In this study,the lecturers’ teaching aspect highlighted is composed of a lecturer-centered teaching methods and student-centered teaching and learning experience aspects is in relation to active learning and passive learning. This study involved a total of 169 respondents among 2nd semester engineering students of diploma program who are studying in Engineering Mathematics 2 at Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak. These samples were identifid through stratifid random sampling method to answer a questionnaire about thelecturers’ teaching and students learning experiences. The instrument used was a structured questionnaire which containing 20 items. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics; i.e. mean, percentage and standard deviation. Through this study, the overall mean value obtained for lecturer-centered teaching methods and student-centered teaching methods are respectively 4.08 and 3.81. While the overall mean for active learning and passive learning is respectively 3.65 and 4.04. In this regard, the role of the lecturers who teach should not be underestimated because the majority of students still consider lecturer as a source of knowledge and “guardian” of them.Keywords: Active learning, Student-centered teaching

Abstract

Educational research is crucial to develop sustainable educational program of Madrasah. Educational research provides important data to defie the plan, evaluate the program, and promote enjoyable learning environment in Madrasah. Educational research in Madrasah still faces some problems such as limited budget, being reluctant to provide data and be research subject among principals and teachers of Madrasah. The researcher has to know research methodology both quantitative and qualitative method to conduct research activity in Madrasah. The valid and reliable fidings in educational research are important for Madrasah to improve educational quality of Madrasah.Keywords: educational research, madrasah

Abstract

The gender understanding is determined by the understanding for everyeach of men and woman that based on space and time. The period in which a people in an order based education elementary school of Islam into a futurethat can impact one’s mindset so that later in life will become an adult who has the perspective of gender with various categories of space and time. The education elementary school will guide for people become an distinguish men and woman right into place. Comprehensive accuracy in distinguishing men in woman are create a harmony in life. Harmony in life became an ideallife that should be built by joined between men and woman as the same. It all make them fulfil their needed and survival. This research was carried out by using a riew of the curriculum in education elementary school of Islam and study was done to prove that fially there is no curriculum that introduced for gender. There is no mention to illustrate and to explain of the differences between men and woman by socio and cultural. This understanding is very important in education elementary school of Islam for child mentally physical changes. The result of this research indicatedby the fact and document that there is no signifiant curriculum clearly implied that talking about gender.Keywords: Gender, Curriculum, Elementary School.

Abstract

Environmental education is one effort to realize environmental sustainability for present until future. Explicitly, it shows that human effort to saveenvironmental must be done continuously, relay from one generation to the next generation. In fact, there is problem about behavior and attitude of student class XI at MA Nurul Ulum Munjungan Trenggalek towards environmental sustainability. Most of student have less concern towardsenvironmental sustainability, for examples throwing the rubbish everywhere, letting classroom dirty, plant that are not caring well, and excessive use of water. In order to describe the behavior and attitude of students towardsenvironmental and development based on environmental, evaluation about behavior and attitude of student is needed to be done actually and systematically.Keywords: Evaluation, behavior, environmental behavior
