Understanding privacy literacy can help everyone treat their personal data shared on online platforms. Data protection starts from the idea that individuals have the right to information about themselves. There must be efforts to prevent misuse; hence, it makes digital literacy important. This research aimed to measure students' understanding of the importance of protecting personal data in the PDP Law based on the categories of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. The research used quantitative methods with an analytical survey approach. Data analysis techniques used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The population was 75 undergraduate and postgraduate students in West Java. The final score showed the number 81. Research results showed that the knowledge dimension scored 82, or a good level. It explained that most respondents understood data privacy protection laws. The attitude dimension had a score of 83, classified as good. Respondents were expected to stay informed about information protection and data privacy. The behavioral dimension was lower than the other dimensions, namely 77 or classified as an average level. In conclusion, the awareness level of the Data Privacy Protection Law based on the areas and dimensions that have been taken into account is at a good level, although it still needs improvement in terms of habits or behavior.

Resource persons were 10% of participants selected from 416 Islamic State University librarians (42 people). Result study showed that repository access patterns comprised three categories:  full open access 63%, 35% patterns were access parts of documents, and 2% access to abstract and metadata. The presentation pattern of the Islamic State University Indonesia, repository data was dominated by one full file open for access. Islamic State University Indonesia, librarians' perception of OAR was based on their understanding of the OAR definition. They agreed that, appropriately, OAR should be free of charge and be used for other legal purposes. However, there were many differences in understanding other aspects. Abstract

Information seeking leads to interactions within a system. At the same time, interaction patterns can potentially lead to a behavioral tendency and form a unique behavioral pattern. This research aimed to find out how information search behavior was carried out by students of the Library and Information Science Study Program in conducting literature searches on the Google Scholar platform by applying the stages of the Ellis Model. The research method used quantitative with a survey method. The results showed that at the starting stage, the correlation coefficient was moderate; at the chaining stage, the correlation coefficient was moderate; at the browsing stage, the correlation coefficient was below moderate; at the monitoring stage, the correlation coefficient was below moderate; at the differentiating stage, the correlation coefficient was moderate; and at the extracting stage, the correlation coefficient was below moderate. This study concludes that students know the topic they want to search before using Google Scholar. Chaining, browsing, and monitoring are done alternately at almost the same time. Students have observed the correlation coefficient numbers at the chaining, browsing, and monitoring stages; students pay more attention to the chaining stage, namely obtaining keywords. At the differentiating stage, students have begun to filter incoming information and use their ability to distinguish the sources of information obtained, and at the extracting stage, students work through the selected sources to identify all relevant materials.

Abstract

Libraries may be at risk of data security issues. The threat of data loss or data damage is prone to occur in libraries. Information technology embedded in libraries has developed Artificial Intelligence (AI) for information retrieval systems. The application of information technology in the Surabaya City Library has potential risks to data security and force majeure aspects so that need a disaster mitigation plant. This study aimed to implement information system risk management at Surabaya City Libraries as a disaster mitigation plan. The research method was descriptive qualitative. Based on the risk analysis, the recommendations for applying risk to information technology Surabaya City Library were elimination and engineering. The manifestation of these two recommendations made the data access protocol use multiple authentications to avoid data theft attempts due to infiltration, hacking, and cracking. Study results recommended a protocol for each data access. The protocol would save every change, deletion, and system login in the log history. Implementing data authentication twice per login can avoid data theft caused by the intrusion. This activity log is used for activity tracking when the system is infiltrated. The limitation of this study lies in the scope of the research object, namely the library, which has limitations on the system or application used and does not impact the wider community. Conclusion of research, the library can implement risk management strategy with elimination and engineering models through recording system login activities, which mitigate the risk of data breaches originating from insiders.
