Abstract

 The developing of SMEs can be big contribution for local development and poverty alleviation by decreasing unemployment people empowering. While theproblems in UD Riyaan Collection is how to mapping market segmentation andpositioning toward competitor, as well as how formulating precisely strategy toimproving sales marketing. By using developing strategy SWOT analysis thatcould be done by bag artisans of UD Riyaan Collection by utilizing Trainingand Expo that facilitated by the government, try to develop bag marketing areasoutside of Sidoarjo, sell bag product outside Sidoarjo, engage partnership withuniversities party, do market survey and following consumer’s taste, search forand join relationship to potential suppliers, always try to improving productweakness and increase production efficiency and effectiveness. The joiningSWOT method with SPACE matrix resulting in aggressive method, method thatrun that are : follow the government programs related to SMEs development,such as : design training and human resource management, show exhibitionwith steps as follow: get cooperate with other institutions, get relationship withpotential market suppliers, apply effective and efficient work ways in order tocreate high productivity, and try to marketing product outside of Sidoarjo area. Abstract

Optimization is a way to get optimum machinery condition where toreached optimization condition, usually done with optimizing toward enginecutting parameter that exist. The aim of optimization is to get cheapestproduction cost and lowest production time. In air suspension valve covervariation making in Honda GL Max 125 cc in turning machine CNC TU-2Amethod that done is analytical method with chisel age criteria (T), cutting speed(v), machine time (tm) and production cost (Cp) in turning machinery processCNC TU-2A. The result of air suspension valve cover variation making inHonda GL Max 125 cc in turning machine CNC TU-2A that time required tocompleting one product is tc = 3,90 minutes. With optimum condition analysisbetween nt = 1 with nt = 500, so obtained calculation result for economiccondition nt = 1, economic production time required tme = 20,69 minutes andeconomic production cost Cp,c = Rp. 132.193,04,-/product, productiveproduction time tm,p = 17,97 minutes, productive production cost Cp,p = Rp.133.648,69,-/product. For economic condition nt = 500, economic productiontime tm,e = 12,74 minutes and economic production cost Cp,e = Rp. 2.175,94,-/product, productive production time required tm,p = 10,06 minutes, productiveproduction cost Cp,p = Rp. 3.632,42,-/product.Keywords : Optimization, cutting speed, chisel age, production time andproduction cost.

Abstract

Countries which joined in the OKI founded the financial institutions thatprovide financial services based on fees and profit sharing to the OKI membercountries. The sharia banking in Indonesia is started in 1991 by a MuamalatIndonesia bank. The development of the market share until 2012 has reachedabout 4,62 %, it means that sharia banking must try hard to develop its marketshare. But the market share of sharia banking always loses with theconventional banks, it can only grow 1 percent per year, but the conventionalbanks can grow till 7 percent per year. According to Tjiptono (2007: 111) themarketing mix is the product, the price, distribution and promotion of thelocation and known as 4p, in addition the company can do differentiatecompetitive in the delivery of services through three aspects known 3p in themarketing services. The population on this study is the customers that they havethe bank account in the Sharia bank public and live in Gerbang Kertasusila area.From that population, this study uses sample of 200 respondents. A method ofsampling purposive is a technique of the determination of the sample based onchance, it means that anyone who by chance or incidental meet, when theymake a deal in the any Sharia bank or other place (home, office and etc.), withthe researcher can be used as the sample, if that person is considered suitable asa source of data. The results of research that marketing mix, the quality ofservices, and the religiousness value significantly influences to the trust ofcustomers. So, hypothesis is received. Services of marketing mix significantlyinfluences to the commitment of customers. Then, hypothesis is received. Thequality of services and the value of religiousness influence positively but notsignificantly to the commitment of customers and hypotheses is rejected. Inshort, the trust is significantly influenced by the religiousness value to thecommitment of customers. Although, the trust cannot be significantlyinfluenced the marketing mix to the commitment of customers. But, the qualityof services is significantly influenced to the commitment of customers. Fromthe results of the research, the researcher suggests to the head of the Sharia bankpublic to determine the best composition of marketing mix and it should betaken from UMKM agent because the population of Indonesia is moslem. Abstract

Hidram pump is one of the water pumps are energy efficient andenvironmentally friendly. Pump hidram an effective technology in the field ofenergy pumping by using the momentum of the water (water hammer) to raisethe water, so the pump hidram one water pump that does not use fuel andelectricity. Effectiveness hidram pump performance is affected by severalparameters such as the diameter of the pipe, reservoir height, exhaust valve, theair tube on hidram pump, inlet pipe length. This study aimed to observe andanalyze the effect on the length of the inlet pipe to the pump hidram highdischarge pumps and pumping. This research method through the design of thepump installation hidram and observation influence the inlet pipe length (6 m, 8m, 10 m), and the observation of the effect of the length of the exhaust valvespring (7 cm, 8 cm, 10 cm) to the pressure value (H) and the value of discharge(Q) to the pump performance hidram. The test is performed in ProductionProcess Laboratory August 17, 1945 University of Surabaya. The longer thepipe, the flow in the pump inlet hidram (Q) generated will be even greater. So inthe above study also directly proportional to the value of head (H) anddischarge rate (Q) on the pump performance hidram. So the value of theexisting pressure in the pump hidram with maximum value is generated headwith value - average (H) 1.41 bar and the discharge of water produced with -average (Q) 21 liters / min. This is because the moment of greatest impact onthe water valve.Keywords: Pump Hidram

Abstract

The use of renewable energy is needed to reduce the energy crisis,renewable energy is very abundant in the earth of which the sun as a source ofenergy. To support the process of conversion of energy the sun into electricitytakes place either required maintenance and monitoring in order to obtainmaximum energy sources. Among them caused by dust, leaves, exposed to thedust and water, the contamination by dust surface will be disturbed solar cellenergy conversion is generated. The application of intelligence method is oneway to solve these problems. In addition the use of artificial intelligence forverification whether the intelligence methods are more effective and simpler insolving the problem of monitoring. Therefore we need some variables includevoltage, brightness, and time, to support a process that uses artificialintelligence methods. By utilizing the microcontroller ATMega8535 asprocessing for artificial intelligences methods provide a more concrete and theuse of software (Matlab, Proteus) for simulation.Keywords: artificial intelligence

Abstract

The use of brick is widely used for civil engineering applications such as wallsin residential buildings, buildings, fences, drains and foundations. Bricks in theconstruction of buildings generally have a function as a non-structuralmaterial, in addition to functioning as structural. In this research, the processof making bricks without combustion by utilizing alkaline compound thatfunctions as an adhesive consisting of a solution of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH)and Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). Abstract

At this writing, has conducted monitoring and analysis and polycrystelinemonocrysteline Solar cells based on energy efficiency, using experimental data(electricity output parameters) determine the output of the solar cell becomesindispensable if it would be a smart system. So that the data output of the solarcell as a reference for processing by atmega8. Results of the analysis showedthat the measurement clock determine the level of higher energy efficiency. Theoutput of the solar cell variations at 8 (am) to 5 (pm). Device atmega8 harilduty to process the output voltage sensing of the next solar cell is shown in theLCD display.Keywords: solar cell, energy, atmega8.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find an effective strategy in the development ofHinterland Tourism Village in Mount Bromo area, so itwill becomes selfsufficientvillages and able to provide the facilities, infrastructure for local andforeign tourism. This research is include as Descriptive explanatory researchwich to obtain field data to build a model of the grand design of rural tourismdevelopment in the Hinterland region of Bromo Mountain. The Object of thisresearch are three tourist villages around Bromo Mountain, while datacollection was done by interviews with rural principiples, SMEs and bothtourist local and international as the sample respondents. Data were analyzedwith SWOT analysis to determine the strategy gathering an the other one isAnalytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determin the ranking of ODTW. Theresults of SWOT analysis based on the weight and value scores of respondentsindicate that the development of rural tourism was scored in the first quadrantis a strategy to optimize the strengths and opportunities, while the results showthat the AHP Wonokitri village has the highest number and the second isNgadisari and ranked third village is Ngadas village. The model of strategyrural tourism could developed when supported optimally by the community, thegovernment such as the Government Center for TNBTS, Department ofTourism, PU, Cooperatives and SMEs, and the Department of SocietyEmpowerement, while also supportby private sectors, SMEs and local investorsand also education Institutions.Keywords: Model Strategy, and Rural Tourism Development

Abstract

Heat treatment on the aluminum alloy is done by heating until a singlephase was then arrested a few moments and forwarded by rapid cooling to nothave time to change to another phase. If the material was left for a certainperiod of time then there was the process of aging (aging). Changes will occurin the form of precipitation (precipitation) The second phase begins with theonset of nucleation and atom clusters that became the beginning of theprecipitates. This precipitates can increase the strength and hardness. Thisprocess is the age hardening process called natural aging. If after rapid coolingthen heated again to below the solvus temperature (solvus line) then detained inthe long term and followed by slow cooling in the air called artificial agingprocess (artificial aging). This study aims to determine the microstructure ofwhat is formed from a material with a temperature variation of aging (200oC,225oC, 250oC) and holding time (8 hours, 12 hours, 16 hours) to determine howmuch influence the variables, can be analyzed through testing SEM EDXA.From the test results of SEM-EDXA it can be determined microstructure formedin 6061 + Al composite coal bottom ash, which is composed of aluminum oxidecompound of Al 2 O 3 and MgO.Keywords: microstructure, composites, coal bottom ash

Abstract

Judging from the development, the lights have undergone significantchanges. LED lamp is a very good product in overcoming the problems ofenergy saving electricity. How much savings compared to the use of LEDfluorescent lamp seems still makes a question that needs to be a research studyto find out. Located at the Faculty of Engineering, University of SurabayaAugust 17, 1945 we conducted research on how much the savings generated bythe use of multiple LED lamps compared to the use of multiple fluorescent lampin a room. The method used in the process of this study is to compare lampuTLand LED lights related to the intensity of the lighting, large power absorbed byeach lamp and how much difference the energy used existing fluorescent lampand LED lights that each sampled two types of lamps , Namely Tl lamps withpower 18 W and 36 W and LED lamp with a power of 10 W and 20 W. Theresults obtained in this study is that the intensity of lighting some LED lights1x20 Watt higher than with some fluorescent lamp 1x36 Watt, some lightingintensity LED lights 2x10 Watt higher than with some fluorescent lamp 2x18Watt. Meanwhile, when viewed from the use of electrical power, the electricalpower several LED lights 1x20 Watt is lower than the electric power severalfluorescent lamp 1x36 Watt and some electric power 2x10 Watt LED light islower than the electric power several fluorescent lamp 2x18 Watt. To review theuse of Energy showed that electrical energy consumption (KWH) a few LEDlamps (1x20 Watt) is lower than KWH a few fluorescent lamp (1x136 Watt) andelectrical energy consumption (KWH) a few LED lamps (2x10 Watt) lower thanKWH some TL lamps (2x18 Watt). The use of LED lamps in terms of someaspects of it can be instrumental in saving power consumption and electricalenergy.Keywords: LED lights, lamps TL, savings
