Abstract

Hazardous waste products and trash disposal methods are vital to society. Over the last few decades, the production of hazardous waste has increased in tandem with population growth, industrialization, increasing urbanization. The constantly increasing industry sector has resulted in the creation of a massive volume of hazardous waste. As a result, enough care must be taken throughout the collection, processing, transporting, and disposal of hazardous materials in order to reduce environmental dangers, as it cannot be disposed of in the environment since it is. That study looks at hazardous wastes, their many types, and how they are managed. Improved strategies for identifying the most convenient and ecologically friendly hazardous waste medication and disposal techniques are required. This document discusses the numerous hazardous wastes created by industry, as well as the nature of those wastes and several methods that can be used for managing the hazardous waste.

Abstract

Vehicle population in Indonesia which are fueled by oil increase annually while the petroleum reserves are more limited. Parallel with the increasing oil fuel consumption for the vehicles causing the increasing fuel subsidies and air pollution as well. To reduce the subsidy for oil fuel and the air pollution it is necessary to find out the alternative fuel which is environmentally friendly as a vehicle fuel and are available in huge amount. One of the alternative fuels which is environmentally friendly is the gas fuel. The problems for developing the use of gas fuel are that the availibility of the filling stations are still limited and the users feel unsafe to use the gas fuel. The research results showed at dynamometer (dynotest) that the gas fuel can be used as a alternative fuel for oil but unfortunately the vehicle designed has a declined torque at variable rotation (rpm) and a decrease Pouzer to variable rotation and exhaust emission is very environmental friendly (good) especially causes by decreasing emissions of CO, CO2, HC and O2 and increasing Lamda.

Abstract

Currently, traditional design violations often occur that impact on economic losses. This remained the case even though Indonesia has a law design. One problem is the lack of effective implementation of the law in protecting traditional designs Celuk Silver. Therefore, how the impact of the law against legal culture transplant community craftsmen silver in Celuk Gianyar Bali in protecting traditional design in the era of globalization? How efforts to improve the legal culture community silversmith in Celuk Gianyar Bali in protecting traditional design motif in the era of globalization? For that type of normative legal research used socio-legal approach, the nature of descriptive research. Analyzed qualitatively. Law transplanted modern laws that have an impact on culture clash the laws of society that is sketched on the level of public knowledge silversmith about a law design only 20 %, while the related understanding silversmith about the content of the regulation 10%, while revenues silversmith against a law design only 8 %, and community artisans who did not know about a law design is 45 %, the remaining 17 % abstained. Therefore, efforts need to be done is to from a team to the youth Bali socializing, exploring, involving institutional organizations associated Balinese silversmiths in Bali to collect data and to receive input on drafting regulations that support protection of traditional craft design motif. However, the role of local government and communities had not been sufficient to achieve maximum results. Therefore, maximum effort is needed in doing the role of the central government in providing facilities and infrastructure for data collection by involving community organizations and local government silversmith preparing the legislation relating to the protection of traditional design motif silver Celuk Bali representing regional assets.

Abstract

A mould in die casting industri has a problem like a die soldering. The die soldering due to a molten aluminium stick on a mould surface and hold on although a casting produk has been rejected. Removing the die soldering need cost and time. So the mouldshoul be protected from the die soldering. In this research, an aluminizing process is used as an alternatif method to protect the mould from die soldering defect. The hot dip aluminizing process increases the corrosion resistance of steel. The aim of reseach is to answer the question “Do the hot dip aluminizing process (Al-53%Cu) protect a mould steel from the die soldering?”. Researchmethodologi. First, the steel samples as assumed as a steel mould are immersed into molten of Al-53%Cu (750 oC) for 3 minutes. Secondly a molten aluminium (700 oC) is poured onto the aluminized steel mouldsamples .it is called as a die casting simulation. The results. The hot dip aluminizing (Al-53%Cu) process at 700 oC can not protect the steel mould surface from the die soldering.

Abstract

PT Oriental Manufacturing Indonesia is a company engaged in the manufacturing industries that produce plastics components for the automotive industry. The main problem that occurs is the target production of Final Assy. Front Door is not reached as a manufacturing lead time (MLT) is too long.The purpose of this research is to reduce the Manufacturing Lead Time (MLT) so that production targets can be achieved. Lean Manufacturing approach used to reduce the waste that occurs. The first step is to create Value Stream Mapping (VSM), which describes the overall process. From the VSM waste can be identified in the some activities (changeover mold) and one activity (final inspection). MLT improvement performed by using Single Minute Exchange of Dies on mold changeover activity and Left Hand Right Hand Mapping on the final inspection process. As the result of improvement, the value of process cycle efficiency has increased by 11.35% from 36,88% to 48,55%. Manufacturing Lead Time has decreased from 35.327 seconds to 26.834 seconds.

Abstract

Enterprises producers of ornamental plants mostly in the form of UKM that has not been touched by the thought of utilizing advertising as a means of promotion merchandise. A phenomenon that perceives that the cost of advertising spending for the promotion, will bring revenue burden for entrepreneurs producers of ornamental plants. Therefore, the author tries to see how the level of income of a company producer of the promotional expenses. Data obtained books adapted by Carter Hill, William Griffiths, George Judge, in the book Undergraduate Econometrics, John Willey & Sons Inc., New York, 1988. The data are taken as many as 15 pieces with variable between the levels of income/revenue expenditure promotional costs. That is the level of income is influenced by promotional expenses. Thus the dependent variable (Y) is the income and promotion expenses (X). This paper will attempt to provide an analysis of the level of revenue company producers of ornamental plants against promotion expenses as part of the system sales of its products. The assumption is estimated that revenue will increase when enlarged promotional expenses. The purpose of the description in this paper is to discuss the hypothesis of economic phenomena, especially on the behavior and function of the company's revenue with the cost of sale (in this case the cost of advertising). The methodology used is through the approach of econometrics at the company's plant landscaping and regression analysis (linear) with SPSS method. From the discussion, we concluded among other things, income / revenue are highly dependent on spending promotional / advertising. Therefore if the company will still generate the maximum benefit it is necessary expenses advertising costs.

Abstract

Customer value is important factors that influence sustainable businses both real sector and service sector. This research ia aimed to examine and analysis the relationship among customer value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This stydi was conducted at Economic and Business Facutlty of Trisakti University which took 180 student as respondents. Using Structural Equation Model, the result shows dimension service value and relationship value of customer value have significant positive influence to customer satisfaction, while dimension core value product of customer value has no significant influence to customer satisfaction. Customer Satisfacation has positive significant influence to Customer Loyalty, only dimension core of value of customer value has significant positive influence to Customer Loyalty while dimension of service value and relationship value have no significant positive influence to customer loyalty.

Abstract

Cinambo River is one of the rivers that enter the watershed Cimanuk located around the construction area Jatigede Dam. Based on the plan Jatigede Dam, Cinambo River are included in the inundation area, where at a future time will be puddles of Jatigede Dam. The appearance of the river, geology and geomorphology phenomena around the river will disappear puddles drowned by the reservoir. The efforts to save geological data of surrounding Cinambo River are necessary to documented so that the results can be useful. Many aspects of the geological data that can be used to good engineering the spread land movement, slope stability, land stability and the area development. Future studies related to Cimanuk river basin area will always refer to the data around Cinambo River.

Abstract

Wastewater from the canteen is a domestic wastewater that has high concentrations of organic matter that needs to be processed before being released and not contaminating the water stream. The wastewater treatment  at canteen SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta begins with collecting basin and aeration basin, and then it is pumped into two reactor that is the subsurface constructed wetland multilayers filtration type flow vertical with Vetiver Grass unit (SCW-MLF) and multilayers filtration type flow vertical unit without plants (MLF)  as a control. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the vetiver grass in wastewater treatment with subsurface constructed wetland unit multilayers filtration type vertical flow with vetiver grass to fulfill effluent standards before it is released into stream water. Metodology of the study was conducted from acclimatization of plants, removal the plant to the SCW-MLF unit, and analyze the quality of wastewater. Flowrate that goes into the processing unit is 6.9615 m3/day. The detention time in SCW-MLF unit was 17.7 hours. The results showed that at steady state COD organic loading on SCW-MLF unit is 917.08 to 4126.84 kg COD/ha/day for the removal efficiency around 69.2 to 80.0%, BOD organic loading is 309.78 to 850,73 kg BOD/ha/day for the removal efficiency 61.2 to 70.8%. K value SCW-MLF unit around 0.55 to 0.71 m/day for BOD, 0.57 to 0.89 m /day for COD. The concentration of the wastewater effluent from WWTP are complied to effluent standart regulation (Pergub DKI Jakarta No. 112 Tahun 2005).

Abstract

Sequencing techniques Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) at this time is a method to identify the genetic basis of living beings, including to determine the accurate genetic relationship of several DNA sequence data. Kinship clearly and easily can be expressed in the form of a phylogenetic tree diagram (Phylogenetic Tree). This diagram represents kinship obtained from the elektroferogram process of electrophoresis sequencing of DNA bases. From some sequences experimental results using sequence analysis application program gradually, starting from installing, editing, and alignment so as to obtain the analysis and phylogenetic branching diagram view. This study uses a sequence analysis program Mega-7 (Molecular Evolutionary Genetics Analysis) to obtain a phylogenetic diagram for high accuracy and relatively easy to operate. This program can translate image data into nucleotide bases that shows the kinship of the distance the nearest branch with a standard sequence. The major advantage of this program is that it can do some analysis in a single program.
