<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effect of motivation achievement and academic achievement on citizenship problem-solving. This study used a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The research population was 704 students of State University of Malang, namely students which were taking Civics Education courses in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The sample consisted of 70 students that were chosen by a purposive random sampling technique. Data collection was done by questionnaire, documentation, and essay test. Questionnaires were used to measure achievement motivation, documentation was used to obtain academic achievement data, and essay tests to measure problem-solving abilities. Data analysis used multiple regression with the SPSS application. The results of the study indicated that achievement motivation influenced the ability to solve citizenship problems. Academic achievement affected the ability to solve citizenship problems. Simultaneously, achievement motivation and academic achievement together affected the ability to solve citizenship problems.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the optimization of the supervisory function carried out by the Judicial Commission for realizing a clear justice. This study used the legal research method, which means that research was conducted by examining existing library data and references, such as laws and regulations, books, magazines, and scientific journals. The optimization of the oversight function of the Constitutional Court was carried out by establishing a good relationship with the Supreme Court to identify the limits of their respective duties and authorities, forming the Liaison Judicial Commission, and the Network of the Judicial Commission. The role of Liaison Judicial Commission needed to be improved, not only receiving reports from the public but also actively finding violations of the code of ethics committed by judges. Socialization regarding the existence of the Judicial Commission should be carried out more through Network of the Judicial Commission to increase understanding of the community so that the community can play an active role in providing reports for the realization of a clear justice.]]>

<![CDATA[This study intended to identify the influence of Generation Z’s perceptions on political parties and political education by mediating political leadership on the commitment to Pancasila. The study used a Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The population was high school students in Jakarta. The sample was 82 students in XI grade. The results showed the perception of political parties influenced the views of political leadership (0.627). Perceptions of political parties influenced Pancasila’s commitment (0.357). The strongest influence was found to be in political education on the commitment of the Pancasila (0.722). Political education did not influence the views of political leadership (-0.009). The view of political leadership did not influence the commitment of the Pancasila (-0.194). The view of political leadership was not a factor influencing generation Z’s commitment to Pancasila. Generation Z’s commitment to Pancasila was influenced by two factors, namely political parties and political education. Political education was the highest factor influencing generation Z’s commitment to Pancasila.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the existence of political party courts in resolving internal political party disputes under the provisions of Law Number 2 of 2011 concerning Amendments to Political Party Laws. This study used a juridical-normative method with a statute approach. The results of the study indicated that the mechanism for resolving internal political party disputes was carried out through political party courts. If the settlement through the political party court mechanism could not be reached, the settlement of political party disputes was carried out through the district court and could be continued with the submission of an appeal to the Supreme Court. The existence of the political party court in resolving political party disputes was evident in the authority of the political party court in regulating, managing and deciding internal political party problems with the power of decisions that were final and internally binding.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze the role of the irung-irung tradition in strengthening civic engagement of the younger generation of Cihideung Village. This study used a qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the traditional irung-irung procedure: praying together, marching to water resources, custom ceremonial process, sacrificing animals, eating together, and closing prayers, the younger generation’s involvement in the irung-irung tradition was more focused on the aspect of democracy through the positive role it plays, not yet at the traditional level, the strategy for strengthening the engagement of the younger generation was through the empowerment of youth and utilizing information and communication technologies.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the increase in knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of the Pancasila by Islamic spiritual community of State Vocational Schools in the City of Pangkalpinang through workshops. The approach in this study was quantitative with an experimental method. The design used pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. The mean score of knowledge of Pancasila values was 69.70 in the pre-test and 75.3 in the post-test, there was an increase in students’ knowledge after attending the workshop which descriptively increased by 8%. The average score of students’ attitudes toward practicing Pancasila values in the pre-test was 3.81 and the post-test was 4.00, there was a significant increase in the attitude scores of students towards the practice of Pancasila values after attending workshops which descriptively increased by 3%. The students’ knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of Pancasila increased through workshop.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze the legal validity of the DMO policy which was based on the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Letter 2783/32/MEM.B/2018 dated April 19, 2018, and the legal implications of the DMO quota transfer policy on mining companies. This research was a normative study using a statute approach. The results showed the coal DMO quota transfer policy was a policy that recognized its existence and had binding legal force. The DMO quota transfer policy had implications for fulfilling quotas for mining companies that contract with State Electricity Enterprise and mining companies that did not contract with State Electricity Enterprise. Mining companies that contract with State Electricity Enterprise could buy and sell coal which was more than the 25% coal DMO obligation with State Electricity Enterprise. Quota transfers made by mining companies that did not contract with State Electricity Enterprise had an uncertain price.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to produce a problem-based Pancasila and Civic Education Module that was feasible, interesting, and effective to use. The study used the Borg and Gall developmental research model. The trial subjects in this study was VII grade students of the Laboratory Junior High School of State University of Malang (UM). The results of the validity test of material experts gained an average of 88%, media experts by 78%, and learning experts by 80%. From the small group trial results obtained questionnaire data filling by students an average of 86%, while from the large group an average of 91%, the average competency test results were 83, with grade completeness of 90.62%. In conclusion, the problem-based PPKn module on Norms and Justice Material had been feasible, interesting, and effective for use in VII grade students of junior high school who have a variety of abilities.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze write-off as a form of settlement over bad credit and the legal consequences of write-off by banks on debtors' debts over bad credit. The study used the normative juridical research method. From the discussion, it was obtained that the write-off was not as a settlement of bad credit between the two parties but rather the settlement of only one party, namely the creditor. The legal consequence of a write-off was that the creditor still had the right to claim the debtor so that the debtor was still obliged to pay to the creditor. Nevertheless, the bank's obligation to pay taxes had not increased. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to describe the planning, the implementation, and the obstacles and impacts of the development model for strengthening character education and environmental literacy in SMP Negeri 3 Malang. This study used a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive study. The plans were formulating priorities for the main values of strengthening character education and environmental literacy, formulating development programs, and socializing to all schools, parents, and the community. The programs were habituation activities under five main values, namely religious, nationalist, independent, integrity, and cooperation. There were obstacles in implementing the program that had been overcome properly. The implementation of the program to strengthen character education and environmental literacy had a good impact on schools, students, and parents.]]>
