Abstract

Film box office Lady Bird mendapatkan banyak penghargaan dan review positif dari para kritikus.  Hal menarik yang dapat dibahas dari film Lady Bird adalah mengenai female gaze. Menganalisis dengan membandingkan teori Laura Mulvey mengenai female gaze dan male gaze melalui fenomena yang terdapat pada film Lady Bird yang menceritakan kehidupan seorang remaja perempuan pada umumnya. Image perempuan dalam film Lady Bird tidak tampak sebagai sebuah objek melainkan sebuah subjek, gaya pemeran perempaun dalam film Lady Bird tampil kuat, ambisius dan optimis. Lady Bird membuktikan bahwa teori Mulvey tentang dunia patriarkal tidak permanen dan tidak wajib.

Abstract

This article examines the work of art and culture teachers applying entrepreneurship lessons in Vocational High Schools (SMK) throughout Malang, East Java. Entrepreneurship encourages student entrepreneurship from working in the industrial sector and government institutions. Receiving students to move industries that continue to improve The purpose of this study is to examine teacher performance Encouraging students to become entrepreneurs. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques through a questionnaire with Google Form on 11 art and culture teachers who are members of the Subject Teachers Association (MGMP) throughout Malang. Vocational Middle School (SMK) in Malang City is a school that is demanded from the implementation of entrepreneurship so that students have a great opportunity to utilize it as industrial technical personnel. The results showed more male teachers than female teachers, 54.5% male teachers, 45.5% educational background, as motivating students to produce applied art 81.8%. While male teachers are able to encourage students to practice as sellers of school work in markets close to the school. Key Words: Vocational High School, Entrepreneurship, Cultural Arts Teacher, Applied Arts

Abstract

The brass craftsmen form Bejijong Village, Trowulan Subistrict , Mojokerto Regency, is a craftsmen community who had a heyday in Majapahit Era (1293-1500) and still operating until today. But now its existence are in stagnation due to the difficulty of getting the successor and weak competitiveness to the evolution of  lifestyle and market tastes. The products produced by Bejijong craftsmen are limited to souvenir products, which resulting a very narrow-range market penetration. In international market, Bejijong craftmen’s product have a low product diversification compared to products from India and Thailand which have a similar qualities and product characteristics. Some of these problems make the Bejijong craftsmen’s products are difficult to compete in domestic and international market. Therefore, this research was held to contributing the diversification development of products that can be produced by Bejijong craftsmen, namely as a variety of interior functional products. This study uses the design thinking brainstorming with the use of transformative design method, and material combining, to creating a product novelty and market-price competitiveness. Data collection was obtained through literature studies on the richness locality and originality of Mojokerto’s motifs, shapes and patterns, as well as market research about consumer’s tastes and needs by field observations, conducting interviews as well as questionnaries with the Bejijong craftsmen communities and customers. Through this method, Mojokerto’s richness of local shape, motifs, and pattern will be applied to a variety of aesthetically-interior functional products that can address current market needs. It is hoped that by this product transformation can escalating the product competitiveness and offering the uniqueness of locality and identity to the Bejijong craftmen’s products

Abstract

Abstrak: Trend Forecasting dengan  tema "Singularity" terdapat empat subtema yaitu Exuberant, Neo Medieval, Svarga, dan Cortex. Tema Singularity terkait perubahan zaman, yakni gambaran suatu keadaan yang mengindikasikan beragam . Hal ini bertujuan untuk memunculkan desain yang baru yang laku dalam rangka memenuhi selera pasar. pergeseran teknologi dan sikap-sikap yang menyertainya, dan gambaran masa depan yang masih diraba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu forecasting. Sebuah metode untuk memprediksi trend atau memproyeksikan trend untuk beberapa waktu kedepan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjadi bagian yang sangat penting dari perkembangan industri interior Indonesia. Dan diharapkan bisa menjadi rujukan bagi pelaku industri, desainer, maupun akademisi bidang desain interior untuk mendapatkan referensi dan inspirasi Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBatik is a skill that has high artistic value and has become part of Indonesian culture. Pandono Batik Abstract has unique techniques, patterns and motifs, even more than others, so that it has one style and motif, only one in the world. Given that batik is written batik, the results of the patterns and motifs of Pandono Batik Abstract also have no limitations on certain standards, tend to be abstract and must always be different, this is the advantage of Batik Pandono Abstract Laweyan Surakarta. This research method is carried out by applying a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a study conducted by conducting observations, observations and interviews. The strategy that will be used in this study is single-embedded. The purpose of this embedded research is that the research is directed at one goal (one location, or one subject) as its main focus. Nevertheless the parts studied are still related to the overall context to get full meaning.Keywords: Abstract batik, educational media, appreciation

Abstract

Abstact: This research is motivated by the need for songs as PAUD learning media in Kediri Regency. In general, teachers only use old songs, composing song lyrics. This study uses the Class Action Research approach which was conducted from March to October 2019. The results of the data analysis included 12 respondents (80%) in the first cycle, 5 respondents (33.3%) in the second cycle, and 2 respondents (13.3%) in cycle III that has not yet reached. It can also be seen that in the third cycle, the number of respondents reached 13 people with a percentage of 86.6%. It can be concluded that the use of chords in learning to create early childhood songs was successful, the action hypothesis in this study was declared acceptable.Key Words : Chord, compose a song, Childhood Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kebutuhan lagu sebagai media pembelajaran PAUD di Kabupaten Kediri. Pada umumnya guru hanya menggunakan lagu lama, penggubahan lirik lagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Class Action Research yang dilaksanakan mulai Maret - Oktober 2019. Hasil analisis data terdapat 12 responden (80%) di siklus I, 5 responden (33,3%) di siklus II, dan 2 responden (13,3%) di siklus III yang belum mencapai. Dapat diketahui pula pada siklus ke III, responden yang sudah tercapai berjumlah 13 orang dengan prosentase 86,6%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan chord dalam belajar mencipta lagu anak usia dini berhasil, hipotesis tindakan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima. Kata Kunci: Chord, Mencipta Lagu, Anak

Abstract

Identity is an important aspect in the formation of a city branding. The identity that is used as a basis in the formation of city branding must be unique compared to other cities. A positive city identity will reflect a positive city image in the minds of the audience. Formulation of city identity can be done by applying competitive identity theory to communicate positive messages to be conveyed to the audience, through the six channels of city identity. The ideal city identity must be formulated based on the facts that occur in the city itself. Result of this research is “connectedness” as representative identity for Sidoarjo. “Connectedness” can be used as a basis for Sidoarjo city branding design.

Abstract

Sebagai sebuah pembentuk opini, film diuntungkan dengan fungsi komunikasi dan artistik yang dimiliki oleh bentuk medianya yang berupa audio dan visual. Representasi yang berbeda terhadap suatu makna teks yang disampaikan dalam sebuah film bisa membentuk opini publik yang berbeda pula, terlebih untuk isu-isu kontroversial yang  membuat publik semakin salah kaprah dalam memahami suatu makna. Melalui kajian ini, penulis berusaha menemukan representasi teks film yang berbeda dengan makna yang ada dalam referensi ilmiah. Penulis membatasi masalah pada dua film horor Indonesia, yakni Kafir (Satanic) Tidak Diterima Bumi dan Kafir Bersekutu dengan Setan. Kedua film tersebut dikaji melalui analisis tekstual sehingga dapat diketahui sejauh mana pergeseran makna istilah ‘kafir’ yang direpresentasikan di dalam film. Hasil dari kajian mengungkapkan makna ‘kafir’mengalami pergeseran makna degradasi atau peyorasi menjadi lebih berkonotasi negatif seperti direpresentasikan secara eksplisit dalam dialog maupun dalam adegan film.

Abstract

Eksistensi merupakan  kebutuhan yang mendasar untuk mempertahankan kearifan  lokal di era disrupsi 4.0. Masyarakat bali masih mempertahankan berkarya prasi, yakni menorehkan wujud visual   pada  daun   lontar  dengan   menggunakan   penguprak (sebuah pisau kecil).   Pendekatan  fenomenologi  di gunakan untuk mengalokasikan analasis data  yang diperoleh.  Dalam  perkembangan teknologi di  era  digitalisasi  saat  ini,  eksistesni  karya  tradisi  sangat  dipertaruhkan.  Bukan  menghindar akan tetapi  harus beradaptasi, kompromi dengan  perkembangan teknologi  menjadi strategi. Representasi  visual  menjadi titik awal  dalam  melihat  keberadaan  desain  yang  muncul  pada karya prasi pada era digitalisasi saat ini, wujud desain secara visual membangun  persepsi postif dalam   mempertahakan   seni   tradisi   menjadi   hal   esensial   dari   karya   prasi.   Digitalisasi menggunakan  teknologi manjadi penting mempertahankan eksistensi karya prasi, dikarenakan karya ini dapat diinformasikan secara luas dengan dokumen  yang berbentuk digital. Selain itu, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi karya-karya tradisional lainnya dapat bertahan di era disrupsi 4.0 ini dengan memanfaatkan digitalisasi, tidak hanya di Bali, namun juga di daerah-daerah lainnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

In the creative industries offices, all of the employees are required to work professionally with creative and innovative ideas. According to the professional work that already mentioned before, the positive feedback and customer’s satisfaction will be easily achieved. The perfect results behind are cannot be detached from the office's atmosphere and team collaboration within the office itself. A study research conveys if a company treats their workers as valuable assets, it will brings reciprocity from their workers. That is a perfect and convenient output. It is relatable with one of the 24Slides office's vision which prioritizes the happiness and joy of their employees in order to produce optimal results. Cooperative companies will make way to improve the performance and motivation of workers by facilitating and designing offices that are exhilarating and professional. If a creative industry office requires new creativity and innovation ideas, then a relaxation facility with some communicative games is recommended to stimulate the brain. Providing these facilities will restore workers' enthusiasm before taking a break or starting an activity. Lounge facilities or lounge rooms are also not provided that simple way. With an attractive interior design, it could be the other proponent as well as supporting housing from the office. Thus, the authors make a study research related to the design of a relaxation room that suitable for the 24Slides office. The purpose of this research is to figuring out the creativity and productivity enhancement of workers with the existence of a relaxation room, knowing the responses of workers, and designing concepts. Design Thinking is used as a method of this research, consisting of emphatisize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with 5 respondents and a field survey at the 24Slides office. The data analysis carried out in the form of assessing existing analyzes, field surveys and interviews that had been obtained. The results of this study will be used as a reference to carry out the design of the relaxation room (funspace) at the 24Slides Indonesia office.
