Abstract

In the context of increasingly competitive technology markets, companies need to know consumer preferences accurately to optimize product offerings and increase sales. Two classification methods that are often used in data mining, namely K-Nearest Neighbors and Decision Tree, have their own advantages and disadvantages. This study proposes a solution that involves processing student data using both classification methods to identify the most accurate and effective method for identifying purchase intentions. This study aims to compare the performance of the two methods in determining student purchase intentions for MacBook laptops. The research methodology includes collecting data from 100 students covering various factors such as user experience, design and portability, technical specifications, price, and security. This data is then classified using the K-Nearest Neighbors and Decision Tree methods. Furthermore, a confusion matrix is used to provide a more detailed picture of the performance of the two methods. The results of the study show that the Decision Tree method has a higher accuracy (91%) compared to K-Nearest Neighbors (88%). In addition, Decision Tree excels in other metrics such as precision (87.18% vs. 85.71%), recall (89.47% vs. 85.71%), specificity (91.94% vs. 89.66%), and F1-Score (88.31% vs. 85.71%). The decision tree also has a higher NPV value and lower FPR and FNR rates than K-Nearest Neighbors, indicating that it is superior in avoiding misclassification. The study's conclusion is that the Decision Tree method is more effective and accurate than K-Nearest Neighbors in determining students' purchase intentions for MacBook laptops. The decision tree shows better performance in almost all evaluation metrics, making it a more reliable method to use in consumer data analysis. The results of this study are expected to help companies choose a more appropriate and effective analysis method for their marketing strategies, as well as provide a basis for further research in the field of consumer purchase intention classification.

Abstract

People's shopping patterns and behaviors continue to develop along with technological advances and lifestyle changes, thus requiring retail business actors, especially supermarkets, to better understand their customers' interests and preferences. In this context, accurate analysis of customer shopping interests is very important to improve customer satisfaction and optimize marketing strategies. One solution that can be implemented to analyze people's shopping interests is the application of the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm, a simple yet effective nearest neighbor-based classification method for recognizing patterns from existing data. This study aims to apply the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm to classify people's interest in shopping at supermarkets. This study also evaluates the effectiveness and performance of the algorithm in the context of business decision-making in the retail sector. The research methodology includes collecting data on people's shopping interests, data pre-processing, implementing the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm, and evaluating model performance using evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results of this study indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm is able to achieve an accuracy of 88%, with precision, recall, and F1-score all reaching 92.86%. These results indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbors model is very effective in classifying people's shopping interests, with a low error rate. The resulting confusion matrix also shows the model's ability to identify customers who are interested in shopping with little prediction error. This study concludes that we can rely on the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm to analyze people's shopping interests in supermarkets. This model not only shows good performance in classification but also has great potential to be implemented in recommendation systems and customer segmentation in the real world. This study contributes to the development of consumer behavior analysis methods in the retail sector, as well as providing a basis for further research to explore other algorithms or combinations of techniques to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of classification models.

Abstract

The use of Smartfren SIM cards is increasing along with the public's need for fast and stable internet services. However, a deep understanding of public interest in the SIM card is necessary to optimize marketing strategies and increase sales. Proper analysis can help companies identify potential target markets and develop effective marketing strategies. We chose the K-Nearest Neighbors method to analyze public interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. This study aims to develop and evaluate the K-Nearest Neighbors model in predicting public interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. This study uses a dataset containing information about Smartfren SIM card users. We divide the data into two sets: a training set for model building and a test set for evaluating model performance. We apply the K-Nearest Neighbors method to classify the data into two categories: interested and not interested. We evaluate the model performance using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. We present the evaluation results as a confusion matrix. The developed K-Nearest Neighbors model showed excellent performance with an accuracy of 94.29%, a precision of 94.20%, a recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 97.01%. These results indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbors model is effective in predicting people's interest in Smartfren SIM cards. The high recall value indicates that the model is able to identify all interested individuals without missing any, while the high precision value indicates that the model rarely makes false positive prediction errors. This study concludes that the K-Nearest Neighbors method is very effective for use in analyzing people's interest in using Smartfren SIM cards. We can rely on the developed model's strong performance for real-world applications in marketing strategies.

Abstract

Dealer CV. Sun Berlian Motor uses the Xai and Exoduz Program Program at the company in the process of calculating the stock of goods entering goods out, sales transactions, and transaction reports, so errors can still occur that are not too large starting from the stock of goods that are not the same but the company does not have an online system to sell motorcycle products online and to overcome these problems, we need a web-based system as one solution For that we need to optimize the use of computers for data processing by designing an information system that is applied to the PHP programming language and MySQL database in order to solve the problems that are exist by being able to answer the needs of the company. The purpose of this study was made to analyze the problems in the CV. Sun Berlian Motor which has not used the online system. It is expected that the system built will be truly able to overcome the problems that arise and be able to improve performance more effectively and efficiently in data management and transactions.

Abstract

The Nisa Ponsel store still uses a recording system on the general ledger in the process of calculating the stock of incoming goods, sales transactions, and transaction reports, it is very possible that there will be greater errors starting from the stock of goods that are not the same in the warehouse, reporting that is not in accordance with the goods sold. To overcome these problems it is necessary a web-based system as one solution for it is necessary to optimize the use of computer data processing with the design of an information system that is applied to the PHP programming language and MySQL database in order to solve the problems that exist by being able to answer the needs of the company. The purpose of this study was made to analyze the problems in the mobile phone Nisa stores that still use recording on the ledger. It is expected that the system built later is really able to overcome the problems caused and able to improve performance more effectively and efficiently in data management and transactions.

With the development of information technology, especially the internet, which can help make work easier as the right medium to unite the alumni of the Labuhanbatu University Informatics Management Study Program.Alumni data have a very important role in the Labuhanbatu University Information Management Study Program, especially in reflecting quality in a tertiary institution in the public sphere. Abstract

Hasil yang di capai dari Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan Aplikasi Perkantoran Bagi Masyarakat Desa Janji yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 November 2020 jumlah Peserta yang mengikuti Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan yang dilakukan sebanyak 30 orang dengan mematuhi standart protokol kesehatan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah, sebelum melakukan kegiatan fasilitas pelatihan di buat dalam keadaan berjarak sesuai dengan standart. mencuci tangan dan memakai masker baik sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Dalam penyampaian materi yang dipaparkan sangat baik diterima oleh Peserta Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan tersebut sebanyak 73 % jumlah Peserta 22 orang. sebelum melakukan kegiatan dilakukan pre-test. pre-test tersebut ternyata diketahui yang tidak mengetahui menggunakan Aplikasi Perkantoran sebanyak 21 orang dengan persentase 70%. dari tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat didesa janji sangat direspon baik dan membawa perubahan kepada masyarakat Desa Janji yang mengikuti Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan tersebut dilakukan post-test disaat akhir penjabaran materi oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh panitia kegiatan diketahui sangat baik perkembangan masyarakat tersebut dilihat dari hasil post-test ada peningkatan yang baik sebanyak 26 orang persentase 87 % dibandingkan ketika saat dilakukan pre-test. adapun kekurangan yang diperoleh dalam Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan tersebut dikarenakan faktor-faktor lain misalnya tidak ketersedian sarana prasarana disaat pelatihan tersebut, dan kemampuan Peserta yang berbeda-beda sehingga perlu dilakukan Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan aplikasi perkantoran pada masyarakat Desa Janji dimasa akan datang

Abstract

Bengkel Java Auto Service merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak dibidang penjualan sparepart dan pelayanan service. Pada Bengkel Java Auto Service proses pencatatan dan pengolahan data sparepart, jumlah, harga sparepart dan data transaksi penjualan, serta data transaksi pelayanan service masih dilakukan dengan penulisan tangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan suatu sistem berbasis web sebagai salah satu solusi. Untuk itu perlu pengoptimalan penggunaan komputer terhadap pemrosesan data dengan perancangan sebuah sistem informasi yang diaplikasikan kedalam bahasa pemograman PHP dan data mySQL agar dapat memecahkan masalah yang ada dan mampu menjawab kebutuhan perusahaan.Tujuan penelitian ini dibuat untuk mempermudah pemilik bengkel dalam mengolah data penjualan sparepart, data pelayanan service, laporan data sparepart serta pembuatan nota transaksi penjualan dan pelayanan service menjadi lebih mudha cepat dan efisien sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan keuntungan bengkel Java Auto Service dalam menjalankan usahanya. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Penjualan, PHP, MySQL

Abstract

Pencurian data pribadi melalui layanan yang membutuhkan data pribadi telah menjadi isu yang marak dibicarakan. Sebagai negara hukum, Indonesia wajib melindungi hak asasi manusia sesuai dengan konstitusi dan undang-undang yang berlaku, namun kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang perlindungan data pribadi serta langkah-langkah keamanan yang tepat sering menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya kejahatan siber.Program Pengabdian Masyarakat oleh dosen Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Labuhanbatu di SMK 2 Rantau Utara bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya melindungi data pribadi dari ancaman dunia siber. Kegiatan ini mencakup edukasi tentang konsep dasar keamanan cyber, penggunaan fitur backup, pengelolaan Personal Identification Number (PIN), penerapan Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), dan mengenali serta memahami penipuan digital. Selain meningkatkan kesadaran dan literasi digital, kegiatan ini juga memberikan solusi teknis untuk melindungi data pribadi agar terhindar dari ancaman keamanan informasi. Dengan pendekatan yang melibatkan berbagai pihak, diharapkan masyarakat dapat lebih bijaksana dalam menjaga dan melindungi data pribadi mereka di era digital.
