Abstract

This article examines the relationship between politics and educational administration and management, the political elements contained in the process of managing education in schools. This research also discusses educational administration, educational management and politics. This article uses the Library Research method or what is known as literature research, where this literature research is to obtain research data, sourced from books and journals, related to the theme of Educational Politics and political elements in the process of educational administration and educational management. In this literature research, the researcher deals directly with the text, not with knowledge that comes directly from the field. Politics and education are two important components of the sociopolitical structure, but are often seen as mutually exclusive. Of course, this is not correct because politics and education contribute to the formation of the characteristics of national society. Apart from that, they complement and support each other.

Abstract

Political education is a process of deriving the basic values ​​and norms of a country's ideology which is carried out consciously, organized and planned and continues continuously from one generation to the next in order to build the nation's character. Politics plays an important role in shaping the values ​​and behavior adopted by society, both through public policy, leadership and public discourse. The role of politics in forming the characteristics of society, among others: (1) political education shapes the political personality of the community, (2) political education shapes the political awareness of the community, (3) political education shapes the political participation of the community. This research is library research which is qualitative in nature. The aim of political education is as a medium for conveying political concepts which has the ultimate goal of making citizens more politically literate and aware of their rights and obligations so that they can participate in the life of the nation and state in every development process. Apart from that, it also provides guidance to Indonesia's young generation to increase awareness of national and state life. Political education as a means of increasing national and state awareness has a legal basis that adheres firmly to the philosophy and personality of the Indonesian nation, which plays a very large role in shaping the characteristics of society, including the following: (1) political education forms the political personality of society, (2) political education shapes people's political awareness, (3) political education shapes people's political participation.

Abstract

The Reformation period in Indonesia which began in 1998 brought significant changes in Islamic education policy. The method used in this paper is the literature study method. The approach used in this research is a descriptive approach qualitative. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. From this research it can be seen that several policies strengthen Islamic education, improve teacher quality, improve educational opportunities and infrastructure, and develop an inclusive Islamic education curriculum. The political policies of Islamic education at that time included several important aspects. First, the number of Islamic educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools is increasing. Second, increasing the number of Muslim teachers. Third, more attention is given to the development of Islamic educational institutions and infrastructure. Fourth, the aim is to develop an inclusive Islamic curriculum. The government has taken concrete steps to strengthen Islamic education, improve teacher quality, improve facilities and infrastructure, and develop an inclusive curriculum.
