Abstract

This study aims to determine the prohibition of inter-caste marriage in Ngafan Village, Southeast Maluku, and Islamic legal views on caste marriage in the customs of the Kei tribe, especially in Ngafan Village, Southeast Maluku Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the type of field research (Field Research). The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The prohibition of inter-caste marriage (not equal) carried out by some people in Ngafan Village is the prohibition of marriage between women from the Mel-Mel caste (highest caste) and men from Riy-Riy (lowest caste). If there is a marriage between these castes, it depends on their family, if they agree then the marriage is still safe, but if they refuse the marriage can be canceled. 2) In Islamic law the scholars differ on the issue of caste (equality) in marriage. Jumhur ulama said that the caste referred to in marriage is religion, independence, social strata and, descent. Imam Malik said that the caste in question was the religion and was free from diseases that were deemed incurable. Meanwhile, the al-Ẓahiriyyah mazhab said that only Muslims were the conditions for marriage. The scholars do not require that caste be part of the legal requirements of marriage, but caste is included in the category of luzu> m requirements, a condition that allows a female guardian to request an annulment of marriage if the male partner is not in the same caste. So the prohibition of marriage is not equal in Ngafan Village can be justified based on the opinion of some scholars. The implementation of this research is expected to contribute theoretically and practically to religious leaders, parties with special interests, and society in general.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify and describe the best method of teaching rules of nahwu for beginners and advanced students for foreign speakers (non-Arabic). This research was a qualitative descriptive study with a type of library research by tracing references in data collection. The results of this study indicate that the best method of teaching rules of nahwu for foreign speakers is of two methods, namely: The first one is the aural-oral method (sam'iyyah syafawiyyah) for the beginner level. This method uses patterned training techniques (pattern drill) through activities of istimā' (listening) and kalām (speaking) to form behavior (habits) for beginner-level learners in using language along with learning rules of nahwu through sentence structure (applied nahwu); The second one is the method of al-istiqra'iyyah (inductive method) for advanced students. This method is one that makes the dialogue/reading text the center of learning all language skills, both speaking and reading related to the rules of nahwu by using three training techniques (drill) that do not come out of the dialogue/reading text, namely the pattern drill (patterned training), meaning drill (exercise of the meaning) and communicative drill (communication exercise). These three techniques combine the formation of behavioral habits in using language along with understanding the meaning and ability to communicate with native speakers (Arabs) by paying attention to the theoretical principles of nahwu (nahwu concept) and applied nahwu (applied nahwu).

Abstract

This research aims to know and describe a good textbook in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammatical rules to non-native speakers. As for the type of this research, it is qualitative descriptive research using the office method by analytical study on a textbook "The Grammar Book in the Arabic Language Teaching Series" with finding On resources to collect information. The results of this research indicated that the textbook in the grammar book in the series of teaching the Arabic language is a good textbook for teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar rules to non-native speakers, and the quality of this book is as follows: (For the first) this book uses the direct method in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar rules to non-native speakers, (second) this book uses the audio-verbal method with a multiplication of mechanical exercises through listening and speaking, in order to form the habit of students while learning the grammar rules Through Alsaqq, (the third): This book uses the inductive method, which is the method that made the dialogic text the focus of language activities in speech or reading related to grammatical rules, with the use of the three language exercises based on the axial or reciting text, which are the (mechanical), semantic and communicative exercises, taking into account Theoretical grammar and (Fourth) Use the communicative method in teaching Arabic language skills, taking into account the teaching of grammar.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out and understand how to buy and sell two prices in one sale and purchase transaction (Bai'atani fi bai'ah) according to the perspective of the Maliki Sect and the Shafi'i Sect. The study was a qualitative descriptive research (non-statistical), which focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, using a normative and philosophical approach. The results of the study found several things. First, according to the Maliki Sect, buying and selling two prices in one trade transaction (Bai'atani fi bai'ah) is permissible provided that there is certainty of an agreement to be used to pay before parting. While the Shafi'i sect considers that buying and selling is absolutely haram, this is due to the vagueness of the contract chosen by both parties. Second, the view of the Maliki Sect is skewed stronger than the view of the Shafi'i Sect, because Imam Malik considers this trade should not be unless there is clarity of agreement agreed before separation. The determination between the two agreements makes this trade permissible according to Imam Malik. As for the opinion of Imam Shafi'i is more careful, because such a trade is very vulnerable to injustice, usury practice and other damage, so at one time this opinion can also be used.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the problem of teaching Arabic and its solutions in Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the type of field research research conducted at the STIBA Makassar campus in the Language Preparation Program. Data collection uses in-depth interview methods by making 17 lecturers (male and female) in the Language Preparation Program and 4 students in charge of language as a source of data/informants. The results showed that: (1) Lecturer perception related to the problem of Arabic Language Teaching in Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar there are six, as follows: (a) Teaching Book; most informants state that some teaching books are irrelevant to the student's condition in terms of vocabulary and expressions or environmental culture. (b) Learners; most informants state that most students have low motivation and interest in learning Arabic and discipline in the application of language, (c) Facilities and Infrastructure; learning facilities and infrastructure are still minimal, such as the absence of language laboratories, (d) Evaluation; some informants highlighted that oral test instruments have not been applied to all language courses in the Midterm Examination (UTS) and in the Final Semester Examination (UAS), (e) Curriculum; most informants say that one year's learning is relatively short coupled with a large amount of teaching material, and (f) Environment; most informants mention that lecturers and senior students cannot yet be used as role models in language, and activities outside the classroom are not more oriented towards language improvement; (2) Lecturer's Perception regarding Solutions to the problems of teaching Arabic in Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar there are six, as follows: (a) Teaching Book; most informants state that the Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar needs to make some teaching books to adjust to the conditions of students, (b) Learners; all informants say that the solution in overcoming the constraints of learners is the provision of motivation to students. Lecturers and senior students should be role models in the application of the language, (c) Facilities and Infrastructure; all informants state that STIBA Makassar should utilize learning facilities, namely language laboratories, (d) Evaluation; the infroman states that oral tests are important for the effectiveness of learning evaluation in all language courses at UTS and UAS, (e) Curriculum; all informants say that ideally language learning in the Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar is two years; (f) Environment; all informants say that the activation of language activities must be followed up by STIBA Makassar. Activities that do not synergize with language improvement must be reduced and the application of language rules. The implication of this research is that there is expected to be a follow-up to this study that highlights in terms of student perception related to constraints/problems in Arabic language learning and its solutions in Language Preparation Program at STIBA Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors that influence the success of teaching Arabic. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. The results of the study indicate that the determining factors that influence the success of teaching Arabic, namely: (1) determining teaching objectives which include teaching plans, teaching materials and evaluations; (2) a teacher who has a very urgent role; (3) teaching facilities; (4) students, taking into account the background and abilities of the students; and (5) teaching environment. These five factors are interrelated with each other in realizing the success of teaching Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the understanding of the people of Parinding Village of Baraka Subdistrict about usury in economic activity. The study focused on the understanding of the Parinding Village community about the law of borrowing money in conventional banks, garden/rice field pawns (mappakatanni), and buying and selling motor loans through conventional financing institutions. Research methods apply the type of field research with sociological and normative approaches. The results show that there are still many people who do not know about the nature of usury. They consider that riba is taking an extra too high in receivable debt, for example that done by loan sharks, while if the addition is taken from a small loan then it is not riba. In buying and selling people do not understand riba, as well as in garden/paddy fields (mappakatanni) and motor loans, which they know that riba is only found in receivable debts that take additional loans and they exemplify as conventional banks do.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out how the mechanism for utilizing zakat funds for jama'i/e.g. weddings: 2) find out to what extent the use of zakat funds for mass weddings/jama'i is on target: and 3) explain Islamic law regarding the use of funds. zakat for jama`i/mass marriages. This research is a field research (field research). The subject of this research is WIZ Wahdah Islamiyah. Data collection methods in this study are interviews, direct observation or observation, and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) The mechanism for implementing the use of zakat funds to carry out jama`iyah weddings/mass weddings at WIZ Wahdah is the distribution of circulars by the Wahdah Islamiyah Central Executive Board to the Wahdah Islamiyah Regional Leadership Councils in various regions and higher education institutions that under the auspices of the Wahdah Education Foundation, the opening of registration of prospective participants for jama'i/mass marriage activities and selection of file requirements and general requirements for activities, WIZ Wahdah Islamiyah conducts direct surveys, submits proposals for activity funds to WIZ Wahdah Islamiyah, conducts pre-wedding cycles, and qabul consent and walimah jama'i reception. 2) Utilization of zakat funds for jama`i/mass weddings at WIZ Wahdah has been carried out three times, namely in 2015, 2018, and 2019 using free infaq funds, using these funds to carry out walimah jama'i receptions. 3) The legal stipulation of the use of zakat funds to carry out jama'i/mass marriages is taken from the ijtihad of the ulama and the agreement of the WIZ Wahdah Islamiyah sharia board, namely it is permissible to use zakat funds for jama'i/mass marriages.
