Abstract

Companies in the basic and chemical industry sector are manufacturing companies that convert raw materials into semi-finished products. This study aims to determine the Influence of Capital Structure, Company Size and Business Risk on Dividend Policy with Profitability as an Intervening Variable in Manufacturing Companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry Sector Listed on the IDX. This research method uses a quantitative method. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS3 3.0 application show that the capital structure has a negative but not significant effect on profitability. The size of the company has a potential but not significant effect on profitability. Business risk has a significant positive effect on profitability. Capital structure has a negative but not significant effect on dividend policy. The size of the company has a positive but not significant effect on the dividend policy. Business risk has a positive but insignificant effect on dividend policy. Profitability has a positive but not significant effect on dividend policy. Capital structure has a negative but insignificant effect on dividend policy through profitability. Company size has a positive but insignificant effect on dividend policy through profitability. Business risk has a positive but insignificant effect on dividends through profitability.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic also has a negative impact on companies such as a decrease in stock prices and company financial performance which can affect company value. This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance on firm value through stock prices as an intervening variable. The population in this study are all sub-sector companies of the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry. The sample of this research used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) model. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that financial performance has a negative but significant effect on stock prices, financial performance has a significant positive effect on firm value, stock prices have a significant positive effect on firm value. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that financial performance has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value through stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital on firm value through profitability as an intervening variable. This research was conducted on pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used a sample of 6 pharmaceutical companies with a five-year period during 2016-2020 which were selected by purposive sampling technique. The collection technique was obtained through the IDX's official website: www.idx.co.id. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Intellectual capital has a significant negative effect on Profitability, Intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on Firm Value, Profitability is negative but not significant to Firm Value, and Intellectual Capital has a positive but not significant effect on Firm Value through Profitability.

Abstract

The Effect of Sales Growth and Leverage on Company Value in Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with Financial Performance as an Intervening Variable. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of sales growth and leverage on company value in mining companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange with financial performance as an intervening variable. The population in this study was all mining companies, totaling 57 companies. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling so that 6 samples were obtained. The results of the direct and indirect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, the direct effect hypothesis test shows that sales growth has a positive but not significant effect on financial performance, leverage has a significant negative effect on financial performance, sales growth has a significant positive effect on company value, leverage has a significant effect positive but not significant to company value, and financial performance has a significant positive effect on company value. The results of the indirect effect test show that sales growth has a positive but not significant effect on company value through financial performance, leverage has a significant negative effect on company value through financial performance.

Abstract

The Altek Gedung shop is a business that operates in the field of selling building materials. The purpose of this research is to analyze and test the influence of store atmosphere, product completeness and price on purchasing decisions with consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Altek Bangunan Store in Situbondo. The population in this research is consumers of the Altek Gedung Store. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on consumer satisfaction, Product completeness has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, Price has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on decisions. purchasing, Product completeness has a positive but not shignificant effect on purchasing decisions, Price has a negative but not significant effect on purchasing decisions, Consumer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction, Product completeness has a significant effect positive effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction. Price has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Company value in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with Profitability as an Intervening variable. Companies with good performance will continue to experience growth well in the future. Company size is considered capable of affecting company value. The company's goal is to increase prosperity and profits for shareholders in the company. This study aimed to determine the significance of the effect of Leverage and company size on company value through Profitability. This research uses descriptive and quantitative research. The population in this study are 47 mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2019-2021. The sampling technique in this study used Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study. This study uses the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Leverage has a negative but insignificant effect on Profitability, Company size has a negative but insignificant effect on Profitability, Leverage has a negative but insignificant effect on Company value, Company size has a significant positive effect on company value, Profitability has a positive but insignificant effect on company value. The indirect effect hypothesis test results show that the variable Leverage on Company value through Profitability has a negative but insignificant effect, and company size on Company value through Profitability has a negative but insignificant effect.

Abstract

Financial management is the most important management for a company. One of the functions of financial management is dividend policy. The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of working capital and sales growth on dividend policy with liquidity as an intervening variable in wholesale companies. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study are wholesale companies listed on the IDX. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, indicate that working capital has a significant positive effect on liquidity, sales growth has a significant positive effect on liquidity, working capital has a negative but not significant effect on dividend policy, sales growth has a significant positive effect on dividend policy, liquidity significant positive effect on dividend policy, working capital has a positive but not significant effect on dividend policy through liquidity, sales growth has a significant positive effect on dividend policy through liquidity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of Financial literay on Financial behavior of Student o the Faculty of Economics and Business Abdurahman Saleh Situbondo with Finacial inclusion as an InterveningVariabel. The population in this study were all students of Faculty of Economics and Business. Data analysis and hypothesis testing inthis study used the Structura Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 appication show that Financial literacy has a significant effect on Financial inclusion.Financial literacy has a significant effect on Financial behavior. Financial inclusion has a significant effect on Financial behavior. The result of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that Financial literacy on Financial behavior through Financial inclusion hasa significant effect.

Abstract

Banks are companies that operate in the financial services sector, acting as intermediaries between people who need funds and people who have funds. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test the role of interest rates in moderating the effect of Solvency, Loan Deposit Ratio and Non-Performing Loans on Profitability. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study is a Conventional Commercial Bank registered with the Financial Services Authority in 2015-2022. Purposive sampling is the sampling technique in this study. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of hypothesis testing using a statistical application, Smart PLS 3.0, the results showed that Solvency has a significant negative effect on Profitability, Loan Deposit Ratio has a negative but insignificant effect on Profitability, and Non-Performing Loan has a significant negative effect on Profitability. Interest rates negatively but not significantly moderate the effect of Solvency on Profitability. Interest rates insignificantly moderate the effect of Loan Deposit Ratio on Profitability. Interest rates insignificantly moderate the effect of Non-Performing loans on Profitability.

Abstract

Marketing significantly influences consumer purchases of the products or services offered for marketing success, both in product and service marketing. This study aimed to analyze and test the effect of price, product quality, purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction. The population in the study was KN brand water products in Situbondo. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of testing the direct effect hypothesis using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that price has a significant positive effect on Purchasing Decisions, Product Quality has a significant positive effect on Purchasing Decisions, Price has a positive but insignificant effect on Customer Satisfaction, Product quality has a positive but insignificant effect on Customer satisfaction, Decision has a significant positive effect on Customer satisfaction. The results of testing the hypothesis of indirect influence show that the variable price on customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions has a significant positive effect, and product quality on customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions has a significant positive effect.
