Abstract

Pemuda mempunyai peranan yang sentral dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, nilai alamiah yang dimiliki pemuda adalah integritas yang berpedoman pada nilai kebenaran dan keadilan. Pemuda harus benar-benar memahami apa saja yang menjadi persoalan yang sedang dihadapi oleh bangsa dan negara, dan mampu menginternalisasi nilai-nilai integritas dalam mengadapi masalah-masasalah tersebut. Artikel ini menguraikan mengenai topik pentingnya menjadi pemuda berintegritas untuk kemajuan bangsa dan negara, yang dimana sosialisasi yang ditambahkan dengan metode debat ilmiah akan membuat para peserta dapat secara mendalam memahami persoalan yang dihadapi oleh bangsa serta mampu menghasilkan solusi kongkrit yang berlandaskan pada nilai integritas. Abstract

Organisasi publik merupakan instansi pemerintahan yang bekerja untuk mewujudkan harapan-harapan rakyat yang terkandung dalam konstitusi. Organisasi publik tidak bisa bekerja secara optimal apabila tidak mendapatkan dukungan dari partisipasi masyarakat terutama pada bidang pengawasan. Pemuda memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, karena pada umumnya pemuda memiliki kepekaan terhadap kemajuan dan penggunaan teknologi informasi. Hasil daripada kegiatan edukasi ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan di bidang pengawasan organisasi publik serta ketrampilan penggunaan webiste untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengawasan organisasi publik.

Abstract

The Surabaya City Government under the leadership of Tri Risma Harini in the 2015-2020 period has shown various successes with indicators from the economic, development, and environmental sectors. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach. The results showed that several internal and external factors of government greatly influenced the development of good governance, which had an impact on the success of governance.

Abstract

Children's Forum is a place of participation for children in the process of decision-making involvement in everything related to fighting for their rights consciously, understand and have a common will so that the child can enjoy the benefits of the results of his decision. The children's Forum has a leading role as a pioneer and Rapporteur. The method used in this study is qualitative. The results showed that the role of the Palembang City Children's Forum in socializing feasible city policies has not been optimal. And the purpose of this study is to optimize the role of the Palembang City Children's Forum as well as knowing the factors that become obstacles in socializing the Child-Friendly City Policy. The lack of optimization can be seen in the role of pioneers as agents of change who have not succeeded in getting people involved in making changes for the better for children while the role of reporters is only half of the fulfillment of children's rights that have just been reported. So in this case, advice is needed to increase the role of the child's Forum.

Abstract

Fungsi pengawasan merupakan salah satu dari tiga fungsi yang dimiliki oleh institusi legislatif. Fungsi pengawasan akan berdampak pada pembentukan ‘check and balances’ yang baik untuk pemerintah. Komposisi dukungan politik Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Selatan periode 2018-2023 yang cukup lemah, membuat intensitas pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh legislative menjadi cukup tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kajian Pustaka dengan menggunakan data-data sekunder dari sumber yang kredibel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Selatan menggunakan jenis pengawasan apriori dan a-posteriori yang hampir seimbang, namun tidak adanya mekanisme kcontrol atas tindakan yang telah dilakukan, membuat pengawasan tersebut tidak dapat dinilai efektitasnya. Abstract

This study describes the practice of collaborative governance on the revitalization of the Sekanak River in the city of Palembang, where it will be analyzed using the theoretical approach of Ansell and Gash related to the criteria of collaborative governance. The Regional Head directly leads the implementation of the revitalization of the Sekanak River, which is a very interesting phenomenon to be studied in depth from the collaborative governance perspective. Community involvement is very important in realizing the goal of revitalizing the Sekanak River, because the community will play a role in preserving, maintaining, and utilizing the potential of the Sekanak River. This research is a qualitative research using the literature study method in collecting secondary materials and for conducting analysis. The result of this study is that the local government does not implement collaborative governance in the revitalization of the Sekanak River in the city of Palembang, this happens because of the very technocratic approach used by the government in the Sekanak River revitalization policy. The recommendation from this research is that local governments should open the widest possible space for community participation, especially on issues that directly intersect with the community. Keywords:  revitalization, government, collaborative

Abstract

This article discusses the educational background of members of parliament in the field of government studies, political science, or public administration related to their performance in government management, specifically in the area of oversight functions. The method used is literature review, analyzing and drawing conclusions from credible secondary data sources. The research findings indicate that the educational background of new politicians is limited to formal academic degrees and has not yet significantly impacted the implementation of effective oversight functions in government management. However, politicians do understand their roles and responsibilities as members of the council. The recommendation from this study is the appropriate use of information technology to provide transparent and accountable information on the execution of oversight functions to the public
