Abstract

Pengukuran jumlah mesin ideal sangat diperlukan untuk melihat kapasitas produksi mencukupi ataukan tidak yang pada akhirnya akan menentukan kelancaran pengiriman barang jadi kepada customer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menghitung kecukupan jumlah mesin di tiap lini yang ada dengan mempertimbangkan waktu siklus, proporsi cacat, jumlah permintaan dan efisiensi mesin yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Dengan penambahan ini, diharapkan tidak akan ada kerja lembur untuk mengejar target produksi. Hasil pengecekan terhadap jumlah mesin menunjukkan bahwa agar tercapainya keseimbangan lintasan produksi sehingga nantinya dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, terdapat beberapa mesin tertentu yang memerlukan penambahan unit yaitu total sebanyak 15 unit untuk 14 Operation (masing-masing Operation membutuhkan 1 unit tambahan tetapi ada 1 Operation yang membutuhkan 2 tambahan unit mesin). Disamping itu ada juga mesin tertentu yang perlu dilakukan pengurangan unit untuk tujuan efisiensi yaitu sebanyak 3 unit mesin dari 2 Operation. Hal ini dikarenakan kapasitasnya sudah memenuhi permintaan tanpa mesin-mesin tersebut, dan sebagian besar jumlah mesin dinilai sudah ideal antara kebutuhan secara teoritis dengan keadaan saat ini. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengukuran efisiensi dan produktivitas penting dilakukan agar perusahaan dapat mengetahui pada tingkat mana efisiensi dan produktivitas proses bisnisnya sedang berjalan. Dengan mengetahui hal tersebut, perusahaan dapat melakukan perbaikan jika hasil efisiensi dan produktivitas yang didapatkan tidak sesuai dengan harapan. PT. XYZ mengoperasikan empat mesin Heat Treatment untuk proses pengerasan barang/parts agar sesuai dengan tingkat kekerasan yang sudah ditentukan pada standar. Mesinmesin tersebut diberi nama mesin HT1, mesin HT2, mesin HT3 dan mesin HT4. Analisa dilakukan terhadap inputan pada mesin heat treatment yaitu jam operasi, konsumsi energi/gas, jumlah produk, konsumsi larutan pendingin sedangkan outputnya yaitu berupa produk OK selama 3 tahun yaitu dari 2014 s.d 2016. Kejadian kurang efisien sepanjang tiga tahun tersebut didominasi oleh mesin HT2 sebanyak 9 kali yaitu pada tahun 2014 3 kali (bulan 4, 8 dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,899; 0,897; 0,913), pada tahun 2015 2 kali (bulan 4 dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,934 dan 0,869), dan pada tahun 2016 4 kali (bulan 3, 4, 6, dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,945; 0,988; 0,919; dan 0,871. Dengan demikian urutan mesin dengan nilai efisiensi dari yang terburuk adalah mesin HT2, HT1, HT4, dan HT3. Efisiensi untuk keempat mesin heat treatment secara umum tidak mengalami perubahan/tetap (indeks perubahan efisiensi = 1). Sedangkan untuk perubahan teknologi ke empat mesin mengalami laju perubahan teknologi yang positif (indeks perubahan > 1). Hal ini menyebabkan kondisi TFP ketiga mesin secara umum selama 3 tahun yaitu dari tahun 2014 s.d 2016 juga mengalami laju produktivitas yang positif (indeks perubahan > 1). Karena indeks perubahan efisiensi selalu tetap (indeks perubahan efisiensi = 1), maka indeks perubahan TFP sama dengan indeks perubahan teknologinya. Abstract

The number of frequencies of damage to aluminum machines at PT. XYZ in one year by 39 times. This frequency is large enough that it is necessary to carry out effective maintenance activities to reduce the amount of damage. Reliability Centered Maintenance is one of the methods used to determine how to maintain machine components that fail according to the criticality level of a component. The results of the analysis of the Reliability Centered Maintenance method at the FMEA stage found 1 component that has a high critical level with the highest RPN value of 144, namely the loader component. The selection of actions to be carried out by conditional directed or scheduled on-condition tasks is because these components will function properly if component replacement or repair is carried out. The minimum maintenance cost for loader components obtained from the calculation is Rp. 11,961,496,-

Abstract

The problem with the company is the increase in non-conformance findings in the internal ISO audit report which is very significant, namely as many as 20 findings related to clause 7.2 of controlling information documents within a period of 6 months. Therefore, the main problem raised in this analysis is how to reduce the findings of non-conformities in the results of internal audit and document management at PT. Dinar Makmur uses fishbone diagrams, PLAN – DO – CHECK – ACTION (PDCA) cycles and provides training for employees to employee evaluations until the findings of the company's internal audit results decline. After that, a calculation of the improvements that have been made is carried out by adding up the clause findings obtained after the audit and divided by the number of sections/departments multiplied by the number of points audited. So the results of the increase in the value of the audit as much as 12% success rate from before the repair. After improvements were made, there was a decrease in findings in the previous period January-June 2018 as many as 40 findings and in the July-December 2018 period as many as 30 findings, and the difference in the decline that has been achieved is 10 findings.

Abstract

In early 2020, COVID-19 was present and changed the socio-economic order of the community. All sectors were affected as well as industrial sectors for both manufacturing and services. The business' operation has changed to comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The impacts of the COVID-19 in the industry identified in this study were decreased income, supply chain disruption, the onset of free time at work, and implementation of health protocols. This impact caused changes in activities in the form of reduced working hours, reduction of workers, material and process efficiency, increased lead time and delays in distribution, physical distancing, activities to prevent exposure to COVID-19, disinfection activities in companies, early detection of COVID-19, and increased employee immunity. Strategies that can be carried out are building a commitment to maintaining discipline in implementing health protocols, utilizing digital technology (internet of things) to expand the market, and implementing a lean strategy to achieve efficiency or save resources.

Abstract

Material inventory as a very important thing for every company. Manufacturing companies generally have inventory to be able to provide the best service to customers. The purpose of this study is to try to achieve the minimum inventory levels possible, reduce storage costs, maximize material storage space for materials fast moving. The author uses ABC Analysis to determine the plastic ore material that is fast moving and is in class A. Then proceed with forecasting the needs of plastic ore raw materials for 2019. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used in this study after knowing the material in class A with a percentage value of 64.20% of material requirements and to determine the quantity of inventory orders that minimize the direct cost of storing inventory, ordering costs and optimizing the frequency of ordering materials. This research is useful for companies by minimizing direct costs of inventory storage, ordering costs and optimizing the frequency of ordering materials. PT. Nissen Chemitec Indonesia usually orders material in 1 year, 12 times material orders, which means that every month the company will order materials. In this analysis, forecasting of material needs is carried out for September 2019 to December 2019 because from the January to August period the company has purchased material. Material purchase with a lead time of 14 days for all types of material. Before using the EOQ method, the total inventory cost of raw materials is Rp. 2,286,376.58 and the company does not have a safety stock. If using the EOQ method the total inventory cost of raw materials is Rp. 812,009 with a frequency of ordering 1 time in 4 months period. The safety stock is 1,095 kg, and the reorder point is if the raw material is at the amount of 2,618 kg. This research is expected to minimize procurement costs and optimize the number of purchases that can be used at PT. Nissen Chemitec Indonesia so that all raw material procurement processes can be better for the company.
