Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran proporsional peserta didik serta kesulitan yang dihadapi peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi perbandingan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan metode eksplorasi dengan pengambilan data menggunakan think aloud. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan penalaran proporsional dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas IX A SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Gelam Palembang. Penentuan subjek berdasarkan hasil pengerjaan soal tes peserta didik yang memenuhi 4 indikator kemampuan penalaran proporsional peserta didik terlepas dari jawaban benar atau salah, serta mampu memberikan informasi yang jelas sekaitan pengerjaan soal tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan think aloud disimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua peserta didik yang mampu mengerjakan soal tes dan mampu memenuhi empat indikator kemampuan penalaran proporsional terlepas dari jawaban benar atau salah. This study aims to analyze the proportional reasoning abilities of students and the difficulties faced by students in solving problems on comparative material. This research includes qualitative research with exploratory methods with data collection using think aloud. Data collection techniques used in the form of proportional reasoning ability tests and unstructured interviews. The subjects of this study were students of class IX A of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Gelam Palembang. Subject determination is based on the results of students' test questions that meet 4 indicators of students' proportional reasoning abilities regardless of right or wrong answers, and are able to provide clear information regarding test questions. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the results of the study using think aloud, it was concluded that there were two students who were able to work on the test questions and were able to meet the four indicators of proportional reasoning ability regardless of right or wrong answers.

Abstract

This service aims to improve teachers' skills in using e-comic media as a mathematics learning aid at SMPN 1 Banjar. This training is designed to provide teachers with practical understanding and skills in creating and integrating e-comics into the learning process. The methods used in this training include workshops, group discussions, and direct practice. The training participants consisted of 20 mathematics teachers from various grade levels. Training evaluation is carried out through observations, interviews and questionnaires given before and after training. The evaluation results show a significant increase in teachers' abilities in creating and using e-comics as a learning medium. Teachers also reported increased student interest and involvement in mathematics learning after using e-comic media. In conclusion, this training succeeded in increasing teacher competency in using digital technology for learning, and it is hoped that it can be widely applied to improve the quality of mathematics education in other schools.

Abstract

Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Education shows that the number of female teachers currently exceeds male, even at the junior high school level in Tasikmalaya the ratio is almost 2:1. Another fact is that applicants for mathematics teacher candidates at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education are dominated by women, for example at Siliwangi University the ratio of female to male mathematics teacher candidates has currently reached 4:1. It is also strongly suspected that since high school, mathematics enthusiasts have been dominated by women. This gap raises suspicions that there are differences in students' perceptions of mathematics learning based on gender identity and mathematical disposition. Students at a junior high school in Tasikmalaya Regency were taken as research subjects. The research method used was descriptive qualitative by distributing questionnaires and conducting in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The research results show that female students have stronger characters than male students. Based on the indicators of mathematical thinking disposition, the highest gap between female and male students appears in the aspects of persistence and monitoring tendency.

Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) merupakan inisiatif pemerintah untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik melalui berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran. Salah satu aspek penting dari P5 adalah gaya hidup berkelanjutan, yang mengajarkan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan melalui tindakan nyata. Artikel ini membahas implementasi program aksi peduli lingkungan di SDN Cilolohan Tasikmalaya, di mana siswa diajarkan untuk mengolah ulang sampah menjadi ecopillow. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang baik dan memperkenalkan mereka pada konsep daur ulang sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa proyek telah dilaksanakan dan berhasil dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre test peserta didik di kelas VI A 50,31 dan post test 77,5. Sedangkan peserta didik di kelas VI B memperoleh nilai rata-rata pre test 65,22 dan post test 86,72. Kata Kunci: ecopillow

Abstract

This study aims to describe the communication skills of prospective teachers in learning mathematics to build students' reasoning abilities. The research was carried out in class X SMAN 1 Lawang with 38 students and SMAN 1 Singosari with 40 students. The subjects of this research were KPL students from the Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Malang, consisting of 2 students. Mathematics learning for prospective teachers is Graph material and Quadratic Functions. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The instruments in this study were interviews, field notes, and video recordings. The results of this study are that prospective teachers are able to communicate theorems and procedures well, according to the concept map material on Graphs and Quadratic Functions. Functions can be demonstrated through writing and geometric shapes by using mathematical interpretations from real life, performing calculations and predictions, explaining reasons why an answer can be accepted as a truth, finding an answer so as to be able to reveal connections and provide insight into the underlying mathematical structure. The exposition activities of prospective teachers through generalization activities of proof - proving the problems given help students get a truth, so that in this case the prospective teachers have succeeded in building students' reasoning. Errors that occur from a small number of students when making conclusions are expected to be minimized through a deeper study of mathematical communication to build student reasoning.Keywords: Teacher candidates, Mathematical Communication, Student Reasoning

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah menghadapi tantangan seperti rendahnya minat, pemahaman konsep yang terbatas, dan metode yang kurang interaktif, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berbasis teknologi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik dengan model Joyfull Learning berbantuan Geogebra. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP 3 Al-Muhajirin. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII E. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes uraian kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistic 24 dengan taraf signifikansi . Berdasarkan hasil Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil antara sebelum dan sesudah penelitian yang mengalami peningkatan pada siklus ke II
