Abstract

This study aims to explain the position of local wisdom content in Arabic teaching materials. As a language learned in the learning process (L2), few teaching materials thoroughly carry Arabic content. If we look at the reality of multicultural Indonesian society, aspects of local wisdom of the social system of Indonesian society are included in the material studied. This is an effort to integrate culture into language learning, positively impacting language learners. A point of view must be developed and used as a discourse to understand social phenomena that occur in Indonesian society, especially in the environment of pesantren and diniyah schools. Local wisdom can be viewed as a social and communicative system that produces a kind of self-organization (autopoiesis) within a culture. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method where the data obtained are processed and concluded from primary, secondary, and supporting sources. The research emphasizes that local content contributes to a deeper understanding of Arabic and culture, making the learning experience more engaging and relevant for learners. In conclusion, this research underscores the importance of integrating local wisdom and cultural content into Arabic teaching materials to enrich the language learning experience and foster a deeper connection between students and the Arabic language and culture. By recognizing the significance of local content, educators can enhance the effectiveness of their teaching methods and better prepare students for authentic and meaningful communication in Arabic-speaking communities.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, dunia pembelajaran bahasa Arab membutuhkan pengembangan bahan ajar yang efektif di tengah kompleksitas tantangan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di berbagai jenjang, termasuk dalam tingkat SMA/MA. Buku ajar perlu memiliki komponen materi yang ideal untuk digunakan sebagai sumber pengetahuan dan media komunikasi antar generasi. Selain komponen materi, aspek kebahasaan dan kebudayaan menjadi kunci kesuksesan pembelajaran bahasa asing di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan buku ajar “"Hayya Nata'allam Al-‘Arabiyyah" Kelas XII yang didasarkan pada usaha penyusun untuk memberikan yang terbaik bagi siswa menengah atas di sekolah umum non-madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen buku berdasarkan perspektif Thu’aimah, serta menganalisis aspek kebahasaan dan kebudayaan dalam buku tersebut. Dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini dipaparkan secara deskriptif dengan metode analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar komponen buku ajar bahasa Arab "Hayya Nata'allam Al-‘Arabiyyah" Kelas XII ini sesuai dengan kriteria bahan ajar ideal perspektif Thu’aimah. Aspek kebahasaan dan kebudayaan dalam buku ini juga terpenuhi sehingga dapat memperluas wawasan siswa dalam belajar bahasa Arab secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Learning Arabic at Cendikia Batu Muslim Elementary School uses textbooks interestingly enough, the books used belong to the foundation itself. This matter It is proven that the books used make children enthusiastic about learning and grades they exceed the minimum completeness criteria, so this research aims to determine the effect of using Arabic language learning modules on results students studying at Cendikia Batu Muslim Elementary School. This research uses quantitative research with a correlation method Simple Random Sampling technique. Sample In this study there were 29 fifth grade students at Cendikia Muslim Elementary School. With research instruments are questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis using the product moment correlation test with significance level of 5% which shows that the rcount value is 0.379 > rtable 0.344 with the level of correlation is weak and there is no negative sign (-) in the rcount with calculations the coefficient of determination is 14.4%. Thus, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship with variable use of Arabic language learning modules on class student learning outcomes V SD Muslim Cendikia Batu.

Abstract

Nahwu Wadhih is one of the most widely used Arabic grammar books among beginner Arabic language learners. Therefore, it is essential to deeply understand and study the book's background, objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This study aims to describe the author's biography, history, and overview of the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz by 'Ali Al-Jarim and Musthafa Amin and identify it in terms of the book's objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research with the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz as the primary data and several books and scientific journals as secondary data. The data collection technique was carried out using the documentation method, which was then analyzed using the 3 steps of the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model: data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The result of this study is that the book of Nahwu Wadhih First Juz is a book for elementary school, which is the work of 2 experts in Egypt, namely Dr. 'Ali Al-Jarim and Dr. Musthafa Amin. This book contains basic rules in Arabic that aim to help beginners learn the rules of Arabic properly and correctly. This book has several advantages but is also inseparable from its shortcomings. Further research could be conducted to study the effectiveness of using this book in the Arabic language learning process in different educational institutions.

Abstract

Learning Arabic with the game To Be Detective is the newest learning method at MTsN 7 Malang.  This study used descriptive qualitative method.  Data collection techniques used were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation.  Observation of the process of learning Arabic with the game To Be Detective.  In-depth interviews were conducted by interviewing Arabic teachers and students of class VIII MTsN 7 Malang.  The results of the study show that 1) There are 6 steps in the process of learning Arabic with games To Be Detective at MTsN 7 Malang, namely material explanation, group division, explanation of games To Be detective, constructing interrogative sentences, answering interrogative sentences, presenting work results and evaluating.  2) learning by using games to be detective can increase the enthusiasm and motivation of student learning because these games are very interesting for the student learning process, in addition to training perseverance, skills, cooperation for students. Abstrak: Pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan permainan To Be Detective merupakan metode pembelajaran terbaru di MTsN 7 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Observasi proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan permainan To Be Detective. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan mewawancarai guru bahasa Arab dan siswa kelas VIII MTsN 7 Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat 6 langkah dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan game To Be Detective di MTsN 7 Malang, yaitu penjelasan materi, pembagian kelompok, penjelasan game To Be detective, menyusun kalimat tanya, menjawab kalimat tanya , mempresentasikan hasil kerja dan evaluasi. 2) pembelajaran dengan menggunakan permainan detektif dapat meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi belajar siswa karena permainan ini sangat menarik bagi proses belajar siswa, selain melatih ketekunan, keterampilan, kerjasama bagi siswa.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has a principle of freedom in learning that guides students to become independent learners. MTs NU Pakis (MATSNUEPA) uses a block system as its learning system. With this block system, the duration of student learning becomes longer in each lesson. Thus, students are encouraged to be independent learners. Based on this, the aim of this research is to explore how the application of the block system can encourage students' independent learning in Arabic language learning, as well as the forms of independent learning carried out by students in the Arabic language subject. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection uses three instruments in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using Miles and Huberman's theory through three stages: reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the block system based on the Merdeka curriculum is divided into four blocks in each academic year. The forms of students' independent learning are implemented through project-based learning methods, the use of learning media, and tourism activities at the end of each semester.

Abstract

This research is based on the finding that the use of media at MTs Ar-Rosydiyyah Mambaul Ulum Sampang is still classified as less interesting in Arabic language learning. Therefore, this study was conducted to test the effectiveness of the use of Jeopardy Game media on student learning evaluation to improve Maharah Qiroah in Arabic language learning. This research method is quantitative research with the type of quasi-experimental research. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. Data analysis used the mean test, Paired Sample T Test, and N Gain Score test. Based on the data obtained and calculated, the Sig value is known. 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average results of students' reading abilities. The N-Gain Score test was carried out to test the effectiveness of the Jeoprady Game in evaluating learning and obtained a percentage of 80.9970 which was in the interval > 76 so it was in the "Effective" category.

Abstract

The emergence of challenges in learning Arabic has driven academics to use complex and efficient methods that have a direct impact on their implementation. Therefore, one method that is considered capable of providing tangible results is "muhadatsah al-yaumi." In this paper, researchers will focus on how muhadatsah al-yaumi is implemented in practice, including textbooks, methods, techniques, and evaluations. The study aims to determine the percentage of user responses to the implementation of muhadatsah al-yaumi to enhance speaking skills. This research uses a mixed-methods approach with a qualitative approach to gather detailed data on the use of muhadatsah al-yaumi. Then, a quantitative approach is employed to measure the percentage of student responses to muhadtsah al-yaumi in improving speaking skills. The field research results show that the implementation of muhadatsah in Islamic boarding schools in South Sulawesi, specifically in two large boarding schools in two different districts (1) PPM Darul Falah Enrekang and (2) PPTQ As-Salam Sidrap, has yielded positive results, especially for users of muhadatsah al-yaumi, namely students from both boarding schools. This is supported by the satisfaction percentage of students regarding the muhadatsah program at PPM Darul Falah Enrekang and PPTQ As-Salam Sidrap, which shows that 8 out of 10 questionnaire variables indicate SATISFIED results, while the remaining 2 show NEUTRAL results. Therefore, it can be concluded that so far, the muhadatsah al-yaumi program has a positive and significant influence and is able to provide satisfaction to students by improving their speaking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the textbook Durusul Lughah Al-Arabiyah Volume 1 by Imam Zarkasy and Imam Syubani. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and data analysis. The steps used in this research are observing textbooks, sorting data, determining data, and analyzing data that has been obtained from observations that have been made. The results showed that the textbook Durusul Lughah Al-Arabiyah Volume 1 by Imam Zarkasy and Imam Syubani has met the criteria in the aspects of language and language skills displayed, such as elements of Qowaid, Muhadatsah and Mufradat. In addition, the book has been balanced which has presented four language skills namely maharah istima (listening), kalam (speaking), qiro'ah (reading) and kitabah (writing).

Abstract

ملخص في اللغة العربية توجد أربع مهارات اللغوية ، وهي الاستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة. لتكون قادرا على إتقان مهارة الكتابة يجب أن يفهم كيفية الكتابة الصحيحة من ناحية الإملاء. ولكن في الواقع لا تزال الأخطاء الكثيرة في مهارة الكتابة، بما في ذلك في كتابة الهمزة. بحثت الباحثة الأخطاء التي تحدث في مهارة الكتابة خاصة في همزة القطع والوصل. أهداف هذا البحث لمعرفة أشكال أخطاء الإملائية في كتابة الهمزة القطع والوصل. استخدمت الباحثة المدخل الكيفي الوصفي. وأمّا طريقة جمع البيانات هي المقابلة والوثائق. وكان تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث تتكون من (1) معرفة الأخطاء. (2) وصف الأخطاء. (3) الاستخلاص. واستخدمت الباحثة فحص صحة البيانات بطريقة التثليث. نتائج من هذا البحث يعني توجد الأخطاء في كتابة همزة القطع منها في أول الكلمة وفي أخير الكلمة. وأنواع الأخطاء في همزة القطع منها وقع في الاسم والفعل والحروف. أمّا توجد أخطاء في كتابة همزة الوصل منها في أول الكلمة وأخطاء الكتابة في وسط الكلمة. وأنواع الأخطاء في همزة الوصل منها وقع في فعل الماضي ، والأمر ، ومصدر. ABSTRACT In Arabic, there are four language skills, namely listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill, and writing skill. For students to be able to master the skill of writing they must understand how to write correctly in terms of writting. However, in fact, many errors are still found in the writing skills including in the writing of the hamza. This study discusses the errors that occur in writing skills especially in hamza qatha and washal. The objectives of this study are: To find out the types of writing errors in writing hamza qatha' and washal. Researchers use descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study consisted of three stages including (1) Recognizing errors. (2) Describe the error. (3) Drawing conclusions. Meanwhile to test the validity of the data researchers used a triangulation technique. The results of this study are: (1) There are errors in writing hamzah qatha' at the beginning of words and writing errors at the end of words. Various kinds of mistakes in hamza qatha' include the noun, verb, and conjunctions. Meanwhile, the writing errors of hamza washal are found at the beginning of the word and writing errors in the middle of the word. The various mistakes of the hamza washal include past tense, command verb, and masdar.
