Abstract

Secara global, pandemi Covid-19 telah menimbulkan beban kasus yang signifikan. Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menetapkan Covid-19 sebagai darurat kesehatan masyarakat yang memerlukan perhatian segera. Di Indonesia, Pemerintah mengeluarkan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 99 Tahun 2020 untuk mengatur penerapan vaksinasi sebagai langkah memerangi pandemi. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya minat masyarakat untuk menerima vaksin, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi yang memadai, serta maraknya misinformasi dan wacana publik negatif tentang vaksin Covid-19. Kekhawatiran masyarakat juga meningkat terkait laporan kasus kematian yang dikaitkan dengan pemberian vaksin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan dan persepsi vaksin Covid-19 di kalangan warga Desa Rt 18 Rw 08 Sukamandi, Kecamatan Subang pada tahun 2022. Studi ini menggunakan desain survei analitis dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi sampel terdiri dari 65 individu berusia antara 18 dan 59 tahun. Menggunakan sampling probabilitas melalui sampling acak sederhana, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui administrasi kuesioner. Analisis data melibatkan analisis univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Analisis statistik mengungkapkan nilai p 0,000, menandakan nilai P < 0,05, sehingga menolak hipotesis nol (Ho) dan menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan persepsi vaksin Covid-19.

Abstract

Background: The number of mental disorders: schizophrenia is increasing every year, social dysfunction is one of the negative behaviours of schizophrenia patients, namely: not wanting to socialize. Group activity therapy: socialization is an effort to facilitate the ability to socialize with isolated patients with social relationship problems. Purpose: To determine the effect of group therapy activities on social dysfunction among patients with serious mental illness. Method: The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test approach. A sample size of 34 patients who experienced social dysfunction was taken in a way purposive sampling with criteria; adult patients and above, can read and write, patients in inpatient and rehabilitation settings, communicate well and have a nursing diagnosis of social dysfunction. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The statistical test used is the Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The analysis in the intervention group are available there were significant changes in signs, symptoms and social functioning (p-value 0.001), in the control group significant changes in signs, symptoms (p-value 0.001) and no significant changes in the patient's social function (p-value 0.798) before and after group activity therapy: socialization. There was no significant difference (p-value 0.336) in signs and symptoms and there was a significant difference in social function (p-value 0.001) after group activity therapy: socialization between the control and intervention groups. Conclusion: There is an influence of group therapy activities on social dysfunction among patients with serious mental illness in rehabilitation ward at the West Java Provincial Mental Hospital.

Abstract

Background: Inadequate sleep and poor quality could interfere with the elderly health. The number of elderly people with sleep quality problems will be much larger, more serious, and more complex. One way to overcome sleep quality is non-pharmacological therapy, one of which using lavender aromatherapy. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of lavender aromatherapy to the sleep quality of elderly at a Nursing Home.Methods: This research used a quasy experiment with a purpossive sampling design. Sample 32 elderly was divided into 2 groups, intervention and control groups. Data obtained used a translate of PSQI questionnaire. The intervention groups was given the lavender aromatherapy for 5 days. Data analyzed for the univariate and bivariate used a Mann-Whitney test. Results: Score of sleep quality in the intervention group pretest was 9.13 and posttest was 4.69. The score were decrease approximately 4,44 point. Whereas in the control group pretest was 9.19 and posttest was 8.13. The bivariate analysis for pre and post test data in intervention group revealed that the p-value was 0.001 (<α=0.05).Conclusion: Lavender aromatherapy significantly effect the sleep quality of elderly in a nursing home
