Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of maintaining generator output voltage stabilization using automatic voltage regulator (AVR), especially in dealing with load impacts and environmental changes. Through the implementation of internet of things (IoT), this system can be controlled and monitored remotely, enabling real-time monitoring without physical presence at the generator location. The main objective of this research is to increase energy efficiency by optimizing generator operation. System development methods include design, prototyping and testing stages. Test results show that the automatic voltage regulator is effective in maintaining a stable output voltage of around 220 V, even though the current varies according to the existing load. The power produced ranges from 23 to 670 W, with a power factor between 0.7 and 1. Despite a slight voltage drop to 217 V, the power factor increases to 0.93. The system uses NodeMCU to send data to Blynk and Google Spreadsheets servers, as well as servo motors and PZEM-004T sensors for control and monitoring. Overall, this research shows that the internet of things-based automatic voltage regulator system is effective in maintaining stability and increasing generator operational efficiency, with the ability to manage voltage, current, power, and power factor efficiently.

Abstract

Currency exchange rates in the era of globalization play a central role in the economic stability of a country. An analysis of exchange rate movements is needed in order to anticipate spikes in exchange rate fluctuations. So new challenges arise in fluctuating the Rupiah exchange rate against the Malaysian ringgit. The dataset used is Malaysian Ringgit to Rupiah currency exchange data for the period 1 July - 30 October 2023 with a total of 109 data. This research focuses on the Backpropagation method in increasing prediction accuracy. The results of the research using Epoch 300, Neuron 3, and Learning Rate 0.5 produced an RMSE value for Training Data Training: 13.601 and Testing Data: 10.721. This indicates that the model is able to provide accurate predictions and is able to generalize well to data that has never been seen. previously. Overall, the development of a prediction model using the Backpropagation Algorithm can be considered successful, and this model has the potential to become a useful tool in making decisions regarding currency exchange rate predictions in the context of financial markets.

Abstract

Journalism and mass media are widely used by people not only to find out the latest news circulating in society but also as a tool to spread certain ideas and ideas so that they can influence and shape public opinion about a social phenomenon that occurs around them. they. The development of ethical politics in the Dutch East Indies in the half of the 20th century opened the gates to a historical period known as the "National Awakening". Many elite figures, encouraged by education and scientific influence from Europe, began to form various organizations and newspapers as a step in opposing the form of Dutch colonial hegemony and power in Indonesia. Even though there was progress in the Dutch East Indies with the many schools built by the colonial government during the ethical-political policy, women did not share this feeling. This encourages many of them to use mass media such as newspapers and magazines as a bridge to express their feelings and criticism of the situation they are experiencing. One of the women who is active in voicing women's issues is Siti Sundari. Through this research, the author found that Siti Sundari had an important role in her efforts to fight for women's rights in Indonesia through her ideas conveyed in writing in various mass media such as Poetri Hindia, Goentoer Berberger, Medan Bermobil, and Doenia Bermobil. He also founded the Wanito Sworo newspaper as a forum to spread his ideas about the importance of improving the position of women in society, both in terms of education, legal equality, marriage issues, and criticism of patriarchy and polygamy. Using historical methods, the author searches primary sources to reconstruct Siti Sundari's early life, her involvement and role in journalism as a mouthpiece for emancipation, and her role in advancing the rights of Indonesian women in the 1913-1914 period through her speeches at various congresses and important meetings discussing the issue of women's emancipation.
