Abstract

Transaction costs on corn farming can affect the income of corn farming. This research aimed to identify the transaction cost economics (TCE) structure and analyze the effect of TCE on the income of hybrid corn farming. The research method used is TCE analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. This research was conducted in Cihaur Village, Maja Subdistrict, Majalengka Regency, West Java, on 64 respondents. The research results showed that the transaction cost economics component on hybrid corn farming consists of (1) information cost; (2) negotiation cost; (3) coordination cost; (4) implementation cost; and (5) risk cost. The amount of the transaction cost that is formed on hybrid corn farming was Rp105,421.16. The percentage of transaction cost to total production cost was 2,78%. Coordination costs consisted of meeting cost, and farmer group fees have the highest transaction costs component, leading to 41,96%. On the other hand, risk cost has the lowest prices, merely 3,09%, in which there are avoiding risk cost and controlling risk cost. The results showed that the seven variables tested had significant effects on the income of corn farming. These variables included land area, fertilizer costs, seed costs, selling price, labor wages, productivity, and transaction cost. Abstract

This study aims to design a model of adaptive social capital development in the soybean farming community based on the UPSUS Pajale Program in East Lampung Regency, which was held from January to March 2019. The data used were primary and secondary data with the Mix-method research method. The sampling technique used is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling with a total sample of 140 soybean farmers who are members of a farmer group receiving 2017 UPSUS Pajale Kedelai Program in East Lampung Regency. Data processing is done qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitatively the data is processed using descriptive analysis, while the quantitative data is processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, which uses the LISREL 8.80 program. The results showed that the soybean farmer's social capital development model obtained was an adaptive implementation model developed through strengthening the program implementation process, farmer characteristics and institutional institutional performance in supporting the sustainability of the next UPSUS Pajale Program and could also be applied to other government programs. Keywords: Development Model, Social Capital, and UPSUS Pajale Program

Abstract

The horticulture sub-sector is an agricultural sub-sector that has an important role in the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and has enormous potential to be developed in Indonesia. Broccoli is one of the vegetables that has very rapid productivity due to increasing market demand. Gapoktan Lembang Agri is an association of farmer groups that cultivate broccoli vegetables in every activity. however, the productivity of broccoli in Lembang Agri's Gapoktan has fluctuated which hinders the Gapoktan from meeting market demand. The purpose of this study was to identify sources of risk for broccoli production in Gapoktan Lembang Agri. Data analysis in this study used descriptive-qualitative method. The results of the study identified the causes of risk sources for broccoli production in Gapoktan Lembang Agri as many as 22 risk sources.

Abstract

Covid-19 is an outbreak that originated in Wuhan, China and spread to Indonesia. The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia is happening so fast and the development of positive cases in Indonesia is increasing every day until 2021. The Indonesian Ministry of Health recommends several fruits to meet nutritional intake during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely watermelon, apples, strawberries, red grapes, bananas, oranges. , papaya, mango, pineapple, poor apple, green grapes, melon, avocado and mangosteen. One of the areas in West Java is RW 10 Cimuning Village, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City. The area is one of the areas where several residents have contracted Covid-19. Circumstances like this have made households in these areas have considerations between health that must always be maintained and household income which is the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the characteristics of households that buy fruits during the Covid-19 pandemic, what value households are willing to pay for fruits during the Covid-19 pandemic and what factors affect the value of their willingness to pay for fruits. household during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative design and survey method using a questionnaire. The analysis used is instrument test, descriptive statistical analysis, contingent valuation method, Likert scale and multiple linier regression analysis. The results showed the average value of Willingness To Pay for fruits by households in RW 10, Kel. Cimuning, Kec. Mustika Jaya, Bekasi City varies greatly with each type of fruit. The fruit with the highest average WTP value was green grapes with a value of Rp. 83,000/kg and the fruit with the lowest average WTP value was papaya with a value of Rp. 17,000/kg. The factors that influence the household's willingness to pay for fruits during the Covid-19 pandemic are the health impact, the number of family members and the price of the product.

Abstract

Recently people used to get leisure time by dringking coffeee in coffee shop. The habit become their lifestyle now, especially from youth generation in big city such as Jakarta and Bandung.  Along with the times, coffee shop also change its function, not only for leisure but also for social interaction, a gathering place for young people, the confortable place  for meeting, the best place for breakfast  (Solikatun et al. 2015).  The habit of drinking coffeee has continued during Covid-19, so the consumer change behaviour from off line to on line. The coffee shop categorized as good, medium and poor coffee shops based on the variety of coffeee beverage, the number of visitors, taste, price of coffeee beverage and the brand of coffee shop. The objective of this research were to analyze (1) the selection of coffee shop based on consumer criteria, (2) consumers’s reason for online shopping, (3) the relationsip between experiential marketing and consumer loyalty. This research was conducted online in Bandung Januari 2021. The results of this research are considered by coffee shop in running their business online.

Abstract

The use of plastic bags has become a habit, there is no day without a plastic bag. Seeing the importance of this problem, the government established a regulation for paying plastic bags in supermarkets in 2015, which is Rp. 200,- per sheet, and it is up to May 31, 2016. This policy did not work well and since 2016 supermarkets have returned to using plastic bags without paying for them. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze consumers’ willingness to pay more for plastic bags, (2) to analyze the cluster of consumer knowledge about plastic bags which damage the environment, (3) to analyze the most important factor that consumer will pay more for plastic bags . The study was conducted from May- June 2021 in Bandung, with simple random sampling. The results showed that generally consumers are willing to pay more for plastic bags (willingness to pay) between Rs. 500, - to Rs, 2.000, -, .Consumers who aware that plastic bags destroy the environment was 14.70 %, the medium knowledge was 63.39 % and the low knowledge was 21.91 %. Although the respondent’s knowledge is high, waste disposal is often practiced using plastic bags. Thus, it is not directly proportional to respondents’ knowledge and behavior about plastic bags. The most important factors that consumers are willing to pay for plastic bags are gender and family. This study can be considered for Ministry of Environment, Modern Retail, stakeholders and other market agents in considering the use of plastic bags.

Abstract

Majalengka has a large area of mango plantations, but farmers' income is still low. The purpose of this study is to describe the area and identify the relationship between land area and the income of mango farmers in Majalengka Regency. This study uses a quantitative research design with primary data analysis, namely the population of mango farmers in Majalengka Regency is 130 people. The data were analyzed using a descriptive statistical approach using a cross tabulation tool and using the chi-squared test through tables. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of education and the area of land and income of mango farmers.Kewords: mango farmers; land area; farmer’s incomeINTISARI Majalengka memiliki lahan perkebunan mangga yang cukup luas, tetapi pendapatan petani masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan luas dan mengidentifikasikan hubungan luas lahan terhadap pendapatan petani mangga Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis data primer yaitu populasi petani mangga Kabupaten Majalengka sebanyak 130 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan statistika deskriptif dengan alat cross tabulation serta penggunaan chi-squared test melalui tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang antara tingkat pendidikan dengan luas lahan dan pendapatan petani mangga.
