Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah ampas tebu sebagai bahan pakan alternatif yang merupakan salah satu upaya dalam mengatasi masalah lingkungan dan penyediaan pakan yang terbatas dimusim kemarau dan tidak bersaing dengan manusia dalam bentuk silase ransum komplit berbasis ampas tebu, indigofera dan molases dengan komposisi yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik (keberadaan jamur dan pH) silase ransum komplit berbasis ampas tebu, indigofera dan molases dengan komposisi yang berbeda. Pembuatan silase dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Faktorial, 3 faktor level ampas tebu + indigofera, 2 faktor level molases, masing-masing unit perlakuan di ulang 3 kali. Faktor A adalah level ampas tebu + indigofera yaitu A1 = 100% ampas tebu + 0% indigofera; A2 = 75% ampas tebu + 25% indigofera; A3 = 50% ampas tebu + 50% indigofera dan Faktor B adalah level molases yaitu B0 = 5% molases dan B1 = 10% molases. Peubah yang diukur adalah keberadaan jamur, dan pH. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis berdasarkan analisis ragam, apabila antar perlakuan berpengaruh nyata maka dilakukan uji Duncan taraf 1% dan 5%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara perlakuan A dan perlakuan B (P<0,01) terhadap warna, dan tekstur, namun tidak berinteraksi terhadap keberadaan jamur, dan pH. Faktor A berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap pH. Faktor B berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap keberadaan jamur. Dapat disimpulkan komposisi 25% indigofera + 5% molases memberikan hasil terbaik untuk warna dan tekstur silase.

Abstract

The potential of bagasse has not been utilized optimally due to its low nutritional content, so it is necessary to add feed ingredients such as indigofera which has high nutrition and molasses which is needed for further processing by means of anaerobic fermentation or silage. This research aims to determine the nutritional quality of complete ration silage based on bagasse, indigofera and molasses with different compositions. This research used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors, each treatment unit was repeated 3 times. Factor A is the level of bagasse + indigofera, namely A1 = 100% bagasse + 0% indigofera; A2 = 50% bagasse + 50% indigofera; A3 = 75% bagasse + 25% indigofera and factor B is the molasses level, namely B0 = 5% molasses and B1 = 10% molasses. The variables measured are dry matter and crude fiber. The data obtained were analyzed based on analysis of variance carried out with the Duncan test at 5% and 1% levels. The results of this study showed that there was an interaction between factor A and factor B (P<0.01) on the dry matter and crude fiber content. Factor A had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the dry matter and crude fiber content. Factor B had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on dry matter but did not affect crude fiber. It was concluded that treatment A2, namely the composition of 50% bagasse + 50% indigofera and treatment B0, namely 5% molasses, could increase the dry matter content and reduce the crude fiber content in complete ration silage based on bagasse.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi pupuk kandang sapi dan pupuk organik cair urin sapi terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, serta produksi berat segar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan lima ulangan, sehingga terdapat 20 unit percobaan dimana tiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 10 lobang tanam. Kombinasi perlakuan meliputi K0 : Tanpa Pemberian POC Urin Kambing, K1 : Pemberian POC Urin Kambing Pengenceran 1:10, K2 : Pemberian POC Urin Kambing Pengenceran 2:10, S0 : Tanpa Pemberian Pupuk Kompos Sapi, S1 : 150 gram Pupuk Kandang Sapi per lubang tanam dan S2 : 300 gram Pupuk Kandang Sapi per lubang tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberikan pupuk kompos sebanyak 300 gram per lubang tanam dapat meningkatkan pertambahan tingi tanaman dan panjang daun rumput setaria serta kombinasi pemberian POC urin kambing dan pupuk kompos sapi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap produksi berat kering rumput setaria.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi penyiraman terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah tangkai dan jumlah daun Tanaman Leguminosa Pohon Indigofera zollingeriana. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAL) dengan perlakuan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan frekuensi perlakuan P0 : Disiram setiap hari 1 Kali, P1 : Disiram Seminggu 1 Kali, P2 : Disiram Seminggu 2 Kali, P3 : Disiram Seminggu 3 Kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi perlakuan penyiraman berpengaruh terhadap Produktivitas Indigofera zollingeriana tertinggi yaitu pada umur pemotongan 13 minggu dengan menghasilkan rasio tinggi batang, jumlah ranti g dan jumlah daun yang tertinggi pada perlakuan P3 yaitu frekuensi penyiraman P3 : Disiram Seminggu 3 kali dengan rata-rata tinggi batang : 119,5 cm, jumlah ranting: 8,50 cm dan jumlah daun : 45 helai.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the substrate composition, inoculum dose and fermentation time that are suitable for the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus on a substrate mixed with cocoa pod skin (KBK) with tofu dregs, soy milk dregs and bran on crude fiber content and crude fiber digestibility. This research used an experimental method with a 3x3x3 Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 replications. Factor A is a substrate composition with a ratio of 80% cocoa pod skin and 20% each for tofu dregs, soy milk dregs and bran. Factor B is the inoculum dose, namely 6%, 8% and 10%, and factor C is the fermentation time, namely 7, 9 and 11 days. The results of the analysis showed that there was an interaction between substrate composition and fermentation time with Pleurotus ostreatus which had a significantly different effect (P<0.05) on crude fiber content and crude fiber digestibility. The conclusion of this study was that the selected treatment was in the A1B3C2 treatment (80% cocoa pod skin and 20% tofu dregs at a dose of 10% with a fermentation time of 9 days) reducing crude fiber by 48.14% and crude fiber digestibility by 57.86%. .

Abstract

Pendampingan pembuatan pupuk organik dari kotoran ayam kub di Desa Laboy Jaya menjadi solusi yang relevan. Pupuk organik bukan hanya alternatif yang ramah lingkungan, tetapi juga dapat membantu petani mengurangi beban biaya produksi mereka. Dengan memanfaatkan kotoran ayam kub sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik, petani dapat memproduksi pupuk secara mandiri dengan biaya yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan pembelian pupuk kimia. Kotoran ayam merupakan salah satu kotoran hewan yang sangat berpotensi di jadikan sebagai pupuk organik karena mengandung unsur hara yang tinggi. Untuk populasi ternak 10.000 ekor ayam akan menghasilkan kotoran ayam mencapai ± 800 kg perminggunya. Permasalahannya kotoran ayam ini belum terkelola dengan baik, dikarenakan tidak adanya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk mengolah kotoran ayam tersebut menjadi pupuk organik yang bermutu, sehingga menjadi salah satu peluang usaha untuk meningkatkan pendapatan di masyarakat. Untuk mendorong hal tersebut maka di lakukanlah suatu upaya melalui penyuluhan kepada masyarakat di Desa Laboy Jaya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan yang dapat mereka aplikasikan nantinya, sehingga dapat juga meningkatkan ekonomi dan pendapatan atau pun jikalau ada masyarakat tersebut yang ingin berwirausaha. Dengan melakukan penyuluhan ini narasumber berharap petani tidak lagi mengalami kesulitan untuk mendapatkan pupuk organik yang bermutu dengan harga yang terjangkau.

Abstract

Pengetahuan tentang investasi menjadi semakin penting untuk memastikan kesiapan finansial masa depan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman santri terhadap konsep investasi, alat-alat investasi yang tersedia, dan risiko yang terkait dengan investasi. Melalui metode pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan sosialisasi menegnai literasi investasi di kalangan santri diharapakan mampu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat santri dalam melakukan investasi di masa depan. Selain itu, kurangnya sumber daya pendidikan dan panduan praktis di sekolah juga menjadi hambatan utama. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kurikulum pendidikan yang mencakup literasi finansial dan investasi, serta pelatihan bagi guru untuk membimbing santri dalam membuat keputusan investasi yang bijak. Dengan meningkatkan literasi investasi, diharapkan santri dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan ekonomi masa depan dan mengembangkan kebiasaan keuangan yang sehat sejak dini.

Abstract

The decrease in agricultural land area has an impact on the availability of forage products which have been used by the community as animal feed. Silage is forage that is preserved using fermentation techniques. Fresh preserved forage is produced after the grass undergoes an insilage (fermentation) process assisted by lactic acid bacteria in an acidic and anaerobic atmosphere. Silage is animal food that has a high water content, processed through a fermentation process with the help of microorganisms. This process is carried out under anaerobic conditions or without oxygen, either with or without addition. In an effort to increase and fulfill the nutrients that are lacking in feed, it is necessary to provide additional supplements so that livestock nutrition can be fulfilled. One process that can be used is the silage fermentation process. In principle, making animal feed in the form of silage is like the fermentation process in general. The ingredients used consist of three groups or components of ingredients, namely the forage feed ingredient group which is the main ingredient, the concentrate feed ingredient group, and the additive feed ingredient group. In this way, making silage can increase livestock productivity, therefore it is necessary to carry out outreach to increase the competency of SMAN 2 Tapung students in making forage silage in order to improve the quality of students' soft skills in the livestock business so as to prepare themselves for the world of work.

Abstract

The potential of banana stems has not been utilized optimally due to the low nutritional content, so it is necessary to add MA11 inoculum for further processing by anaerobic fermentation or silage. This research aims to determine the physical quality of Batang Pisang fermentation silage waste using MA11 inoculum. This research used a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments, each treatment unit repeated 4 times. P0 = Banana Bar + MA-11 0%, P1 = Banana Bar + MA-11 2%, P2 = Banana Bar + MA-11 4%, P3 = Banana Bar + MA-11 6%. The variables measured are color, texture, pH and aroma. The data obtained were analyzed based on various analyzes carried out using the Duncan test at 5% and 1% levels. The results of this research show that it has an effect on color, texture, pH and aroma. It was concluded that the color of the silage produced was blackish brown. The pH of the silage produced for P0, P1, P2 and P3 respectively is 5.4-5.8, which means the pH produced is poor. The texture of the resulting silage is slightly soft (a bit lumpy, contains mucus). The resulting aroma is not sour and not rotten.

Abstract

Cabbage waste fermented liquid (Brassica oleracea) is a type of fermented liquid that contains lots of vitamins and other important nutrients that are beneficial for broilers. This study aims to determine the effect of adding fermented cabbage waste to the percentage of weight and length of the digestive organs of broilers including the weight of the proventriculus and ventriculus. This research was carried out from March to May 2021 at the Laboratory of UIN Agriculture Research and Development Station (UARDS) Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University, Riau. The research material used 80 DOC broilers (CP 707). The research method was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control drinking water), P1 (2 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of drinking water), P2 (3 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of drinking water), and P3 (4 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of water). drinking water). The parameters measured were the percentage of weight of the proventriculus and ventriculus. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the administration of fermented cabbage waste in drinking water to broilers did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on the percentage of weight and length of the digestive organs of broilers.
