Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must be recognized as a strategic and important force to accelerate regional development, because the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is increasing every year, where the number of MSMEs in Indonesia in 2020 is 64.2 million units, and proven contributes 61 percent to GDP (Gross Domestic Income) (Airangga, 2021). MSME problems include financial and non-financial problems. To overcome these MSME problems, supply chain management can be implemented by implementing several activities, namely (1) management of managerial aspects aimed at increasing productivity, marketing capabilities, and human resource development, (2) capital aspects by collaborating with banks, and (3) partnership program to increase cooperation with suppliers and consumers. MSMEs who are members of the Garudayaksa Nusantara Cooperative in dealing with MSME problems apply the concept of supply chain management by choosing a few suppliers and an efficient distribution channel model, namely supplier-UMKM-consumer.

Abstract

Practice is as important as the theory in learning a language. A recommended syllabus is needed to use in the institution according to the need of the learners as well. This esearch aims to analyze the necessities, the lacks and wants of the learners in the English for Computer and Technique course. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative model. The survey research using a series of questionnaires and was distributed to 32 respondents from the informatics study program. In collecting the data, the researcher applied questionnaire for the students as the instrument of the research. The results of the needs analysis concluded that students need English to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing. material that per the field of science, namely computer science, becomes more interesting and strongly supports the knowledge being studied. The implementation of this research is to prepare an Semester Learning Plan in accordance to the student’s needs and to develop lecturer competence as well as technology and information progress.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find learners’ perceptions of online English learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has made closure to schools and universities all over the world and online learning is a way of constraining the spread of COVID-19 virus. The study used a descriptive method by surveying 108 students from Management and Informatics programs of Institut Bisnis & Informatika Kosgoro 1957 (IBI K57). The data were collected through questionnaires by instruments consisting of learners’ perceptions about the effectiveness of learning English online, the accessibility of internet during English online learning, the technical performance of lecturers to teach English online, and the level of difficulty of language skills to learn online. The validity of the questionnaire was tested by using expert opinions. The results of the study indicated shifting face-to-face learning to online learning particularly for English classes is also an effective way during the pandemic, the accessibility of the internet in online learning, it is an important factor should exist during learning activities, the students assumed positively that most lecturers know how to teach English online learning by using online platforms used in IBI K57, and the learners perceived that listening section is the most difficult skill to learn in online English class. The study implied that online learning is an important alternative way to help teaching and learning in the situation of the pandemic, it considers using proper technology, quality, and instructors’ competence to enhance and to encourage learners engaged in online learning environment.

Abstract

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has led to sweeping changes and disruptions in nearly every aspect of daily life. Covid-19 outbreak has a big economic impact changes, particularly from the middle to lower class society, because the economy is in decline and there are also many layoffs for employees in companies/factories. Many street vendors cannot sell normally due to the coronavirus as well., traditional motorcycle drivers, online motorcycle, taxi services cannot operate as usual due to PSBB regulations and decreased service orders due to social distancing. Many people still do not comply with government restrictions because they are forced to do so to meet their daily needs. Due to the above mentioned facts and in addition to boosting social connection and empathizing with others, some lecturers from IBI K57 worked together with KSD (Komunitas Sedakah Depok) GDC have shared breakfast packages to people in need such as garbage men, ojek drivers, scavengers, etc. This social activity The implementation of this social activity is carried out by prioritizing Covid-19 health procedures and protocols. The authors hope that this activity can be an inspiration for colleagues, students, and all communities that the awareness to share with others is the responsibility of all of us.

Abstract

Reading is an activity that has many benefits. Through reading, a person will be able to gain a lot of insight and knowledge. Therefore, reading habits should be enhanced as early as possible. Learning to read is a phase that must be passed in order to read writing fluently. Learning to read is an essential foundation for becoming an educated person. Reading offers opportunities for pleasure, to increase our knowledge of the world and to enhance our imagination and creativity. In learning English, reading is an obstacle for some people, especially since how to read text in English is very different from Indonesian. This often happen to starter learners. Compared to tests in Indonesian, the spelling that must be pronounced is different from the writing in English. Since, English is one of the foreign languages ​​that must be studied in Indonesia, learning about English in addition to mastery of vocabulary that must be developed, must also be started by reading and pronouncing writing in English correctly. In several primary schools in Indonesia, both national and international, the method of learning to read written or text in English uses the Phonics method and approach. Phonics is a method for teaching the reading and writing of an alphabetic language. However, many schools do not understand what phonics is and its benefits. Abstract

The Internet facilitates everyone to interact in cyberspace, connecting people who are in distance. Through the internet, people can also access various social media platforms. Social media is at the core of a very primary need around the world with a huge number of users. Social media is a form of media transformation in today's sophisticated era. Social media gives people the freedom to express, to share opinions, do business, shop and to learn something as well. Besides, Social media can also have a negative impact if users don't use social media wisely and intelligently. Spending too much in social media can lead to poor sleep and numerous studies have shown that many negative impacts occurred in social media. Among young people, social media is used more for fun like posting photos, talking to friends, or doing something as simple as just checking what someone else is doing. The quality of utilizing social media as a useful medium for learning is still not done effectively, especially among students. This is also a concern that occurs among studens of IBI Kosgoro 1957, to improve the quality of social media information by using the internet media. Therefore, a training was conducted to pay special attention to improving the quality of social media information in the IBI Kosgoro 1957 campus. Abstract

Pengguna internet di Indonesia semakin besar dan pertumbuhannya sangat pesat. Demikian pula jumlah pembelanjaan secara daring melalui pasar daring atau yang dikenal juga sebagai e-commerce tumbuh dengan pesat di Indonesia. Ditemukan bahwa jumlah pengunjung e-commerce di Indonesia dapat mencapai ratusan juta kunjungan per bulannya, dua diantaranya yaitu Tokopedia dan Shopee. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor dari e-commerce yang dapat memengaruhi pola konsumtif masyarakat Indonesia terutama di Jakarta. Variabel bebas dalam tesis ini adalah variabel antarmuka pengguna (User Interface/UI) yaitu tampilan dari sistem atau aplikasi yang digunakan, dan pengalaman pengguna (User Experience/UX) yaitu pengalaman yang didapatkan saat menggunakan aplikasi atau kedua hal ini biasa disebut UI/UX, promo online, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, privasi, dan variabel kepercayaan. Tesis ini membahas pengaruh variabel bebas tersebut terhadap konsumerisme. Metode analisa penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan melakukan survei secara daring dengan pembagian kuesioner menggunakan google form. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 240 orang yang pernah berbelanja pada e-commerce. Hipotesis penelitian menggunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda dan diolah menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel UI/UX, promo, privasi, dan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat konsumerisme pada pengguna e-commerce di Jakarta, sementara variabel persepsi kemudahan penggunaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap konsumerisme

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the types of errors in subject-verb agreement. The basic mistakes made by students in subject-verb agreements are a lack of knowledge about sentence patterns and their types. The study applied a qualitative descriptive method. The study is to describe and classify the errors made by the students and identify which parts of the subject-verb agreement have the most errors. The data collection technique of this study is by collecting the results of a worksheet assessment on subject-verb agreement given to 89 students. The data is analyzed by investigating what types of errors the students make and what factors often occur in subject-verb agreement. The results of this indicate that there are errors made by students including: singular subject must agree with a singular verb as well as a plural subject must agree with a plural verb, errors in a compound subject, errors in using the verb of the form have, and errors in be verb. The study implies that grammar and sentence construction, particularly subject-verb agreements, are basic chapters that must be trained continuously and become an important fundamental goal before students learn other things in English.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran  Bahasa Inggris yang dilakukan secara blended learning. Kualitatif- deskriptif  adalah metode yang diterapkan dalam peneltian ini. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris secara blended learing yang meliputi suasana belajar, materi perkuliahan, performa dosen serta tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen menunjukkan persepsi yang sangat baik dari mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian juga mempersepsikan bahwa interaksi dan suasana yang terjadi selama proses kegiatan belajar mengajar, pemantauan terhadap peserta belajar harus tetap terkendali terutama dalam hal kemajuan belajar, memberikan kegiatan instruksional yang membangkitkan motivasi serta efek afektif kepada peserta belajar baik pembelajaran secara tatap muka maupun online. Peningkatan keterampilan terhadap penguasaan teknologi dalam mengajar harus menjadi perhatian dan kesadarn bagi setiap dosen

Abstract

Pendidikan mengenal alam lingkungan sekitar sangat bermanfaat bagi tumbuh kembang anak usia dini. Selain dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik anak, juga dapat mengasah kepekaan terhadap alam sekitar dan jiwa sosial. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah memotivasi dalam mengenal lebih dekat lingkungan alam sekitar. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan bimbingan dan penyuluhan terhadap santri-santri di Bina Warga Mandiri. Kegiatannya dilakukan dengan mengamati hal-hal yang sehari-hari ada di lingkungan sekitar serta menjadikan kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk motivasi dapat menggerakan kesadaran anak bahwa lingkungan alam sekitar kita sangat bermanfaat serta memberikan banyak pengetahuan dan wawasan dalam ilmu selain pendidikan di sekolah. Melalui kegiatan motivasi memanfaatkan lingkungan alam sebagai sumber belajar dapat membuat suasana menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan nuansa yang alamiah. Di samping itu, anak-anak juga dapat lebih mensyukuri semua ciptaan Tuhan yang ada disekitarnya.
