Abstract

This study examines the character building of students' responsibility through the organizational culture of ORPPENDA students in Pondok Modern Daarul Abroor Banyuasin. The background problem of this research is the fact that there are some members of the organization who are less committed to carrying out the mandate, which should set an example to the “santri” and vice versa because they feel arrogant or pretentious to have authority. The main problem arises because of the lack of participation, communication and coordination between members of the organization's management in following the activities in the cottage. This research is a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. While the qualitative descriptive data analysis technique uses three steps namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that with their culture in organization their character of responsibility becomes better. In these organizations they embrace one another like family. In the process of fostering the character of santri responsibility through several stages of understanding; train; guide; example; getting used to; and provide penalties for students who violate and provide prizes for exemplary and outstanding students. While the cultural elements include the values, norms, and climate of the organization written in Teng Komando (TENGKO) which is an outline of the rules that exist in the modern daarul abroor huts as well as the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routine activities that have become their habits. Through this culture the character of the students' responsibility is truly fostered and directed as the goal of the organization of student organizations is to support discipline and train the leadership of students as provisions when they are involved in society.

Abstract

This research is motivated by social problems that occur today in daily relationships, there are still many children's behaviors that go out of the rules. Therefore, social attitudes need to be instilled so that children can avoid social problems. In instilling social attitudes, teachers as educators have a significant influence on the development of student behavior, especially teachers of Morals. The purpose of this study was to reveal how the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in instilling social attitudes and to reveal the supporting and inhibiting factors in instilling social attitudes in grade VII students of MTs Aisyiyah 1 Palembang.This study is descriptive qualitative research. The type of data in this study is qualitative data obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in this study include primary and secondary data. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and then verifying the data.The results of this study are that Aqidah Akhlak teachers have a role in instilling students' social attitudes both inside and outside the classroom. The first role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers is in the classroom including as an educator, in the formator, motivator, and facilitator. Outside the classroom, the teacher acts as a second parent and role model. The supporting factors for aqidah akhlak teacher in instilling student social attitudes are a supportive school environment, such as setting aside pocket money to donate to orphanages, strong self-awareness for change, and a supportive home environment. While the inhibiting factor is a technology that is misused by students and tends to cool off on its own without paying attention to social conditions or the surrounding environment, unsupportive home environments, and limited time for teachers to educate and supervise students when they are outside the school environment.

Abstract

Morality children in Indonesia have experienced morality degradation which is very concering starting from, drug abuse, student brawls, and criminal acts. The cause of the decline in child morality is deviant associations, the entry of westernized culture, resulting in a negative state. There fore we need an educational instution that can foster children’s morality, one of which is the pesantren eductional instution. This study aims to determine what learning models are carried out by pesantren in fostering the morality of students. And to find out what factor support and hinder the pesantren of student’s morality In pesantren Sabilul Hasanah.. This research includes qualitative field research, using a case study approach to perfrom deep ekspolasi and research informants using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using, observation, interviews, and documentation while the data analysis techniques uses data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study indicate that the pesantren learning model in fostering the morality of students in pondok pesantren Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin getting very good attention from the pesantren. This is shown from the rules which are applied by the pesantren which is arranged through manners and laws pesantren Sabilul Hasanah Banyuasin. Supporting factors in fostering student morality seen from the pesantren environment and ways of parenting the chaplain. Inhibiting factors in discussing the morality of students consisting of internal factor that come from within the student and external factor originating from the family and community evironment.

Abstract

Parenting patterns of polygamy parents in educating children's morals (case study in V Jemenang Village, Rambang Dangku District, Muara Enim Regency). The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the parenting style of polygamy parents in educating children's morals (case study in Jemenang V village, Rambang Dangku district, Muara Enim Regency)? as well as what are the obstacles faced by polygamy parents in educating children's morals (case study in V Jemenang Village, Rambang Dangku District, Muara Enim Regency). The purpose of this study was to determine how parenting practices of polygamy parents in educating child morals in V Jemenang Village, Rambang Dangku District, Muara Enim Regency and to find out what are the obstacles faced by polygamy parents in educating child morals in V Jemenang Village, Rambang Dangku District, Muara District Enim. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis in this study uses data analysis from Miles and Huberman which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification of data (conclusion drawing or verification). Based on the results of the study show that First, many ways or patterns of parenting that are used by parents who practice polygamy in educating children is the authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, and permissive parenting, Second, the obstacles faced by parents who polygamy in educating child morals are , lack of economy so that the time between parent (father) and child is reduced, so that the lack of communication between child and parent, the sharing of affection so that the lack of affection felt by the child, parental attention is lacking so that the child falls into wrong promiscuity, and the rigors of the ego children have that makes it difficult for parents to educate children.

Abstract

Acts of violence in schools are increasingly prevalent with a lot of reporting about acts of violence both in print and in electronic media. One example of acts of violence that occur at school is bullying, victims of bullying have poor social adjustments that result in students withdrawing from relationships, becoming moody, and even lazy to go to school. So that it affects the confidence of students who experience bullying. The purpose of this research is to find out how the experience of bullying and to know how the students ' self-confidence and how the experience bullying influences the students' self-confidence in MTs Miftahul Ulum Muktijaya Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency.This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with data analysis techniques using Product Moment correlation. Sampling using saturated sampling techniques with a population of 65 students. And data collection techniques using the method of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained: 1) experience with bullying experienced by students of MTs Miftahul Ulum Muktijaya Muara Telang District Banyuasin Regency classified in the high category with a percentage of 38% with a total of 25 students 2) student confidence MTs Miftahul Ulum Muktijaya Muara Telang District Banyuasin Regency is classified in the medium category with a percentage of 68% with a total of 44 students 3) There is an influence of experience with bullying on student confidence in Ms. the value of t count is greater than the value of t table with a significant level of 5% or a significant level of 1% that is 0.2058 <2.19> 0.2441 then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant influence between experience with bullying on student confidence in MTs Miftahul Ulum Muktijaya Muara Telan District g Regency of Banyuasin.

Abstract

Local culture is a culture that has become the hallmark of a society that can distinguish it from locality or region with one region or another place. One of the local cultures in Al-Munawar village is haul, haul is a culture of the commemoration of the death of the founder of Al-Munawar village which coincided with Isra ’Mi'raj which contained various Islamic nuanced activities. Based on the description above, the main problem in this study is: what are the values of Islamic education in local culture, namely the culture of haul in Al-Munawar village, Palembang? The purpose of this study is to explain the historical background of haul culture in Palembang's Al-Munawar village, the process of the haul culture, and what Islamic education values are contained in haul culture in Palembang's Al-Munawar village. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, data analysis is qualitative analytic, the data analysis method starts from the stage of data reduction, data presentation, triangulation and verification. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers in Al-Munawar 13 Ulu Palembang village, it can be concluded that the background of the implementation of haul is the desires of Al-Munawar descendants to remember the history of Al-Munawar village, the story of the founder of the village, namely habib Abdurrahman bin Muhammad Al-Munawar was a scholar from Yemen who initially preached while trading. The process of implementing this haul culture includes: reading of burdah, pilgrimage, prayer, tasyakuran or aqiqah, marriage contract, reading of yasin and tahlil, tausiyah, zuhr prayer in congregation for men and lunch kebuli rice. The values of Islamic education in this haul culture include: historical values, religious values include; remembering death, friendship, the assembly of knowledge, alms, and moral values.

Abstract

The study aims to: (1) to learn mother's concept as the first educator of the family analysis in sheikh abdul hamid mahmud thahmaz's book ummul mukminin. (2) to learn the unique thinking of abdul hamid mahmud thahmaz about mother as the first educator in his book ummul mukminin that sets it apart from other ideas. The type of research used in this study is a type of research study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The literature study of data-collecting techniques is a study referring to libraries that refer to books, journals, reports, documents or other scientific works. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, display and data verification. Content analysis is an analysis by discussing reference material relating to the mother's concept as the first educator in the family (analysis of the book ummul mukminin). This study has shown that the important role parents play in educating their children. As a mother's role as an educator in the family should have a certain number of characteristics as a prerequisite. In his book ummul mukminin sheikh abdul hamid mahmud thahmaz set the aisyah r.a. character as an example for mothers who wanted to be good children educators in the family. Such characteristics are: zuhud, the aisyah, philanthropy, the character, and the learning. And the thinking of sheikh abdul hamid mahmud thahmaz of mother as a educator must be historical, normistic, and philosophical

Abstract

Islam sebagai “agama baru” bagi bangsa Arab masehi telah menjadi inspirator utama untuk menjadi bangsa yang besar dan terkenal. Dengan menginteralisasi ajaran dan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam kehidupan pribadi dan kelompok secara mapan, dan memadukan kemapanan spiritual itu dengan peradaban modern yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Rumawi Timur dan Persia khususnya, umat Islam tampil sebagai bangsa yang berperadaban spektakuler, (khususnya di bidang sastra, seni, dan politik dan pemerintahan), dan Islam telah menjadi pusat peradaban dunia modern yang diukir dalam sejarah.

Abstract

Ajaran Islam sebagai sistem kehidupan merupakan bukti kerasulan Muhammad SAW yang turun ke jazirah Arab mengandung nilai-nilai universal yang diperuntukkan bagi penataan kehidupan dan peradaban umat manusia sejagat hingga akhir zaman. Keutuhan ajaran Islam sebagai kelanjutan dari nilai-nilai hidup baik yang bersifat ilahiyah yang terdapat dalam berbagai ajaran yang telah diturunkan oleh Allah kepada para nabi dan rasul sebelumnya.Kenyataan itu mengisyaratkan bahwa ajaran Islam sebagai sistem nilai yang diberlakukan dalam kehidupan bersifat akomodatif terhadap nilai-nilai positif yang selama ini telah dipraktikkan dalam kehidupan umat manusia baik secara individual maupun komunal.Berbeda dengan kerasulan Muhammad SAW, Nabi dan Rasul yang diutus oleh Allah sebelum beliau relatif hanya membawa ajaran dan sistem nilai ditujukan untuk kelompok dan umat tertentu. Dengan pemahaman seperti itu, tentu sistem penurunan ajaran pada para nabi dan rasul itu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan umat yang dihadapi para nabi dan rasul pada waktu itu. Sistem kehidupan yang harus ditata saat itu berlaku terhadap umat dengan kultur dan karakteristik yang relatif seragam atau tidak sekompleks dengan pola kehidupan umat yang dihadapi oleh nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai nabi akhir zaman.  Keutuhan ajaran Islam yang diusung oleh nabi akhir zaman ini dan kemajemukan pola kehidupan umat yang akan ditata melalui ajaran Islam, menunjukkan bahwa Islam diproyeksikan oleh si pemilik kehidupan untuk seluruh umat dengan berbagai variannya, seperti suku bangsa, ras, budaya dan peradaban, bahasa, dan pandangan hidup.Berdasarkan pandangan seperti di atas, tulisan kecil yang ada di tangan ini anda saat ini mencoba untuk menyatakan secara sepintas tentang Islam dan apresiasi peradaban.

Abstract

Distance learning that is being carried out in special schools, especially for children with special needs for mental retardation who can still be given education in schools and Islamic Religious Education lessons are expected to be able to encourage students to grow noble characters and personalities. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of distance learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SLB Negeri Muara Enim, especially for children with special needs for mental retardation. This research is a type of field qualitative research (field research) with a qualitative descriptive approach to fully understand the phenomenon of the implementation of distance learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects for mentally retarded children. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation, in which the informants consisted of principals, PAI teachers, and parents of mentally retarded students at the Muara Enim State Special School. Furthermore, the method used in this study is a descriptive method based on the results of interviews and observations. The data validity technique was carried out by triangulation while the data analysis technique was by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.
