Abstract

Harvani Hotel has 5 (five) floors, where each floor has 1 (one) Access Point (AP). All Access Points, servers and several Personal Computers (PCs) are connected to the RB 750r2 microtic router which is connected directly to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) so that all users are connected to the internet network. The problem that occurs is the uneven distribution of bandwidth so that the first user connected to the internet will get more bandwidth with the highest internet access speed. This causes interference to other users who feel the speed of internet access is very slow, which results in user inconvenience in using internet access. Therefore, bandwidth management is done in this research uses the action research method, where the prototype is focused on 5 Access Points by using ISP that provide bandwidth services of 2.5 Mbps and shared equally among 5 Access Points. From the testing results using the speedtest known that every AP only get the throughput between 100 - 400 kbps. This is providing that the bandwidth used of every AP does not expand 512 kbps and the bandwidth distribution of every AP has been ordered to remove the existence of user interest.

Abstract

PT. KAI Palembang is a branch of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Persero located in South Sumatra Province, where PT. KAI Persero is an Indonesian State-Owned Enterprise that organizes railway transportation which provide services including passenger and goods transportation. PT. KAI Palembang has a computer network connected to PT. KAI Persero central is located in Jakarta. Now, PT. KAI Palembang is trying to improve computer network security, where one of them is limiting the access of users who connected to PT. KAI Palembang computer network. This can be done by implementing Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Frame Relay on PT. KAI Palembang computer network. In this research used the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method which has several stages, namely Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototyping, Implementation, Monitoring and Management. This research method is used because the results of this research will be displayed in the Cisco packet tracer simulator. In addition, the results of this research were tested using a ping test between computers to show that the ACLs design had been running well.

Abstract

Cyber crime merupakan tindak kejahatan yang terjadi di dunia maya, yang mana salah satu cyber crime paling marak terjadi adalah cyberbullying pada remaja. Adapun dari hasil survei diperoleh bahwa terdapat 2 pesan instan dari media sosial yang paling sering digunakan, yaitu Facebook Messenger dan Whatsapp. Oleh sebab itu, cyber crime juga kemungkinan besar terjadi pada kedua pesan instan tersebut karena penggunanya sangat dominan. Melihat perkembangan IoT yang mempengaruhi setiap kegiatan melalui komunikasi di dunia maya, maka bukti digital dari pesan instan di media sosial saat ini telah menjadi bukti yang valid dalam mengungkap berbagai persoalan, salah satunya cyberbullying. Akan tetapi, tindak kejahatan akan sulit diungkap jika bukti digital tersebut terhapus atau sengaja dihapus. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian dengan Metode Action Research ini, penulis melakukan proses Digital Forensik untuk mengungkap bukti cyberbullying dari Facebook Messenger dan Whatsapp. Dalam hal ini, cyberbullying hanyalah contoh kecil dari sekian banyak cyber crime yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu, proses Digital Foresik ini dapat diterapkan untuk mengungkapkan berbagai jenis cyber crime lainnya. Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian ini juga dapat digunakan untuk mengungkap bukti-bukti digital lain yang dibutuhkan dalam proses penyidikan.

Abstract

Mikrotik, a technology that provides Internet services by turning computers into network routers. The computer network of SMA Negeri 16 Palembang uses a traditional cable network with star type. In this research, the process of designing a network using Mikrotik and managing and distributing bandwidth as needed at SMA Negeri 16 Palembang is carried out using the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) model. The result of this research is that Mikrotik can manage all computer networks. In the distribution of bandwidth regularly on the proxy can provide efficiency over the use of the internet. Mikrotik can maximize network usage if the overall bandwidth has been set. Keywords: Mikrotik, Computer Network, Router and Type Network

Abstract

Kantor RRI (Radio Republik Indonesia) Palembang merupakan salah satu kantor penyiaran radio yang berada di Propinsi Sumatera Selatan, dimana pada kantor ini memiliki beberapa komputer yang telah terhubung ke dalam LAN (Local Area Network). Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa user / komputer yang terpisah secara fisik dari LAN yang telah dibangun sehingga menjadi kendala pada saat proses pengiriman data yang tidak bisa dilakukan terhadap user yang tidak terhubung secara fisik ke dalam  LAN pada Kantor RRI Palembang. Oleh karena itu, dengan melakukan rancang bangun VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) maka dapat menghubungkan seluruh user / komputer yang terdapat pada Kantor RRI Palembang walaupun secara fisik tidak terhubung langsung akan tetapi dapat terkoneksi dan saling melakukan pengiriman data. Rancang bangun VLAN pada penelitian ini disimulasikan menggunakan Cisco Packet Tracer sehingga dapat diuji coba koneksi dan pengiriman data antar user yang telah terhubung VLAN pada Kantor RRI Palembang.

Abstract

System Usability Scale (SUS) is a usability testing technique for a simple system using a Likert scale. Testing and usability analysis assess user satisfaction with the system or web. So, the purpose of this service activity is to train website usability testing with SUS, using the Dukcapil website as a test object. Dukcapil's website will be analyzed for its usability level as a real case for direct practice. In SUS, ten statements are used as parameters in assessing the usability of a website. This activity was attended by 20 people, including Bina Darma University students, vocational students, and IT staff from the Dukcapil Palembang City. The usability analysis of this website aims to assess how well user interaction with the website is going. Then, the results of this assessment and study produce an input as a reference for website development to be more optimal in the future. In testing the usefulness of the Dukcapil website in this PKM activity, it can be seen that the SUS score is at a score of 56.125, with the category Acceptable. Therefore, it shows that the Dukcapil website is ranked F, with a "Good" rating category. The training results show that the Dukcapil website is still very rarely accessed by users. Because it provides information lacking in updates, the features used are still in beta version (still in the testing phase). Users or participants still do not understand how to use it. In addition, this activity provides participants with an understanding of the website usability test using the SUS model

Abstract

Internet network security in a company is critical. Currently, the use of wireless devices as a local data traffic controller is very widely used. However, this tool is vulnerable to network security breaches if it is not accompanied by excellent security of the network system. PT. Taspen (Persero) Palembang has problems with the Wireless network and does not have an excellent security system. It causes users who are not employees to use the internet network at the company, making employee operations slow and vulnerable to burglary. Therefore, in this PKM activity, RADIUS Technology is applied as internal network security. Every user who wants to access the internet network at the company must first log in. This activity aims to train employees of PT. Taspen (Persero) Palembang to access a wifi network that uses RADIUS Technology. It starts from accessing the wifi network, logging in, to logging out of the wifi network. This activity is carried out online by utilizing the Zoom Meeting application. The results obtained indicate that the network system security of PT. Taspen (Persero) is increasing, and all of its employees can access a wifi network that has implemented RADIUS Technology

Abstract

STIPER Sriwigama Palembang is one of the high school agricultural sciences located in the city of Palembang. As with other universities, in the STIPER Sriwigama Palembang environment there are lecturers, staff and students. STIPER Sriwigama Palembang in informing about the presence of lecturers is currently still using a simple manual information board to display the names of lecturers present or not with a static, unattractive and inaccurate display. The purpose of this research is to build a dynamic digital information board where information in it can be arranged according to needs, which can be managed by the information section. This research uses Raspberry Pi which will connect the LED TV with the computer part information. This research will produce an information board that contains interesting features such as the use of running images and text and provide information about the presence of lecturers who are teaching or not teaching which can be arranged through the computer information section. Because it is still in the research process, the current output will be explained limited to the display design and also explained about the configuration of the Raspberry Pi 3 model B so that it can modify the LED TV into a digital information board.

Abstract

Selama masa Pandemi Covid-19 ini, semua proses pembelajaran memanfaatkan media online ataupun daring, baik untuk sharing materi, diskusi hingga ujian. Oleh karena itu, terkadang beberapa mata pelajaran khususnya praktek memerlukan pegambilan nilai siswa berupa video praktek. Adapun file berupa video biasanya memiliki size yang besar sehigga tidak dapat langsung dilakukan sharing melalui media sosial ataupun email. Hal ini memerlukan suatu wadah ataupun media online yang dapat menampung file dengan size besar, maka diperlukan online storage seperti Google Drive dan Mediafire. Oleh karena itu, baik siswa ataupun guru dapat memanfaatkan online storage ini untuk sharing file berbentuk video dengan size yang cukup besar, serta kemudian link file dari online storage dapat di-share menggunakan media sosial ataupun email. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah setiap siswa ataupun tenaga pengajar telah memiliki akun online storage masing-masing, baik Google Drive ataupun Mediafire.

Abstract

STIPER Sriwigama Palembang is one of the agricultural science college located in Palembang City. STIPER Sriwigama Palembang has a computer network that utilizes wireless transmission media. Therefore, one of the most needed devices is AP (Access Point). Currently, STIPER Sriwigama Palembang only has 2 Access Point so that the internet network can not be spread to the entire environment of STIPER Sriwigama Palembang. With these problems, in this research will be designed WAP (Wireless Access Point) by utilizing Raspberry Pi 3 Model B owned by STIPER Sriwigama Palembang. Raspberry Pi 3 Model B is a mini computer that is about the size of a credit card equipped with SD card which is where the installation of Operating System and data storage managed on Raspberry Pi 3. Building a Wireless Access Point can be done by doing some configuration stages to Raspberry Pi 3 Model B which has been installed by Raspbian Operating System. With the construction of WAP utilize Raspberry Pi 3, then the internet network will be spread throughout the environment of STIPER Sriwigama Palembang by using wireless transmission media.
