Abstract

The condition of agricultural land in Indonesia in general has greatly decreased productivity. This is due to soil fertility degradation due to agricultural intensification. In addition, with the transfer of land functions due to the needs of residential residents, especially in the city, which uses productive rice fields as housing, this results in a considerable narrowing of the land every year. Each type of soil has a different nutrient content, Therefore it is necessary to identify the type of soil. The purpose of this study is to find out the growth potential and yield of several types of glutinous rice (Oryza sativa glutinos) on three types of soil (Inceptisol soil, Entisol soil and Andisol soil). The research was conducted at the Green House faculty of agriculture, Islamic University of Malang in October 2020 until April 2021. The method used in this study is Split Plot Design which is prepared with Randomized Design Group of 2 factors: The first factor is soil type (J) consists of: J1 = Inceptisol, J2= Entisol, J3= Andisol. The second factor is the variety of plants (V) there are 5 types of varieties, namely: V1 = Varieties Wagamba (Black) Ambon, V2 = Local Varieties Bondowoso 3 (White), V3 = Varieties Wangkaluku (Red), V4 = Varieties Payaman 20 (White), V5 = Local Varieties bondowoso 1 (Black). The results showed that local varieties bondosowoso 1 (V5) and soil Andisol (J3) are able to provide the best growth response to soil type treatment and variety treatment. Payaman 20 (V4) and Andisol soil (J3) varieties are able to provide the best result response to the treatment of soil types and varieties.

Abstract

Okra plant(Abelmoschus esculentus)is not widely known among the people of Indonesia. However, as the increasingly modern era of agricultural land in Indonesia has experienced a decrease in productivity on a large scale caused by the use of inorganic fertilizers and the use of pesticides that are not in accordance with the rules. Soil soil repair can improve the fertility rate of the soil so as to support plant growth and plant productivity. This study aims to find out the effect of soil soil application on the growth and yield of okra plants. and to find out the effect of soil soil application on reducing the amount of inorganic fertilizer use on the growth and yield of okra plants. The study used Group RandomIzed Design (RAK) with 10 treatments and 3 repeats. The results showed that the treatment of O9 (Without fertilizer NPK + Soil Soil Destruction) is the best treatment in growth, and at the result of productivity of tons/ha O9 treatment (Without fertilizer NPK + soil soil soil destruction) is the highest value on the parameters of productivity of tons/ha. These results mean that the application of soil soil destruction can replace NPK fertilizer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) to various growing media on the growth and yield of baby cucumbers. The study used a factorile randomized block design (RAK) with control, the first factor consisted of 2 levels, namely P1, = POC of onion skin and P22 = POC of garlic skin while the second factor consisted of 3 levels M1 = Soil + Husk (: 1 ), M2 = Soil + Mushroom Blog Waste (2 : 1 ), M3 = Soil + cow manure (2 : 1 ) so that 6 combinations and 1 control were obtained so that there were 7 treatments which were repeated 3 times. The results showed that garlic peel POC gave a better response than POC on cucumber growth and yield variables. The combination of POC treatment of garlic peel and cow dung gave a value of 35.54 cm at the length of the plant at 21 DAP, the number of fruit per plant was 17.50 units, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per hectare were 303.33 g and 30,69 ton/ha.Keywords: POC onion skin, planting medium, baby cucumber, mushroom baglog waste

Abstract

Purple long bean (Vigna sesquipedalis L. Fruwith) is a commodity that has a purple color in its fruit which contains high anthocyanins and is useful as an antioxidant. This study was to determine the effect of concentration and time interval of giving liquid organic fertilizer, rice washing water and egg shells on the growth of purple long bean plants. This research was conducted in February in Kemuning Hamlet. The study used a factorial RAK with a control consisting of 2 factors. Factor 1 concentration of POC consists of 3 levels, namely P1= 50ml L-1, P2= 100ml L-1 and P3= 150ml L-1. Factor 2 the time interval of administration consisted of 3 levels, namely W1= once every 3 days, W2= once every 5 days and W3= 7 days so that 10 treatments including control were obtained, each treatment was repeated 3 times, 30 treatment units were obtained, each treatment consisted of 4 samples so that 120 units of plant samples were obtained. The results showed that P2W2 treatment (concentration 100ml L-1 at intervals of 5 days) gave the best interaction effect on plant length variables at the age of 14 days after planting, 87.39cm, 21 days after planting, 136.16cm, and 28 days after planting 216.58cm, the number of leaves was 21 days after planting, 31 days after planting. 00 pieces and 28 days after planting 54.16 leaves, leaf area 14 days after planting 585.00cm2 and 28 days after planting 1412.15cm2, leaf chlorophyll content 20 days after planting 44.16 µg/  and 30 hst 40.60 µg/ . The P3W2 treatment (concentration 150ml L-1 at intervals of 5 days) gave a good interaction effect on the variables of root length 22.04cm and number of flowers 11.94 cm.Key words : Long bean plant, POC concentration, time interval of administration, egg shells, rice washing water
