Abstract

Learning Manajemen System (LMS) menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran selama masa Covid-19. Dua diantara LMS yang sudah dikenal oleh masyarakat pelajar yaitu Google Classroom dan Microsoft Teams. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan keefektifan kedua LMS dalam mengelola kelas online agar diperoleh informasi yang lebih jelas tentang kelebihan, kekurangan serta keefektifan masing-masing LMS. Dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan dua LMS ini untuk mengajar pada dua kelompok kelas di Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka. Kemudian mengukur dan membandingkan kelebihan dan kekurangan kedua LMS pada beberapa indikator. Instrumen utama dalam menganalisa kelebihan dan kekurangan kedua LMS ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Data diperoleh pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Semua informasi tentang fungsi fitur kedua LMS dikumpulkan kemudian direduksi sehingga diperoleh data yang jelas yang mempermudah dalam membuat kesimpulan. Data lain berupa hasil belajar mahasiswa juga dikumpulkan menggunakan fitur pengujian masing-masing LMS. Ternyata tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Disisi lain, ada delapan fitur LMS yang masing-masing memiliki keunggulan. Google Classroom unggul dalam hal kecepatan akses, fitur penilaian dan fitur absensi. Microsoft Teams unggul dalam hal penyimpanan data dan komunikasi. Sementara fitur administrasi, pengujian dan penyampaian bahan ajar masing-masing memiliki kelebihan tersendiri untuk kedua LMS masing-masing.

Abstract

Millennials community right now prefer video media as a learning resource rather than reading textbooks. To understand the contents of books, we need to have a reasonably high literacy ability. Unlike the case with learning videos, explanations accompanied by images in the video can help someone to understand the material in that media. The first goal of this study was to make audiovisual teaching materials that could serve as a supplementary textbook teaching materials. The second goal was to test the effectiveness of teaching materials that have been created. The method used was the development method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The process of developing teaching materials began with creating multimedia learning, recording stages, editing stages, and completion stages. Material experts and media experts then validated the teaching materials that had been produced and tried out on students. The results of the try out documents to the students showed that there were significant changes both in terms of motivation, enthusiasm for learning, interaction in the classroom, and from student learning outcomes. These results made the student's response to the use of teaching materials excellent. This audiovisual teaching material was worthy and effectively of being used as a learning media, both as a supplementary or primary source.

Abstract

TThe purpose of this study are: (1) To determine the ability of mathematical problem solving class X SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako taught using cooperative learning model Group Investigation. (2)To determine the ability of mathematical problem solving class X SMA Negeri 1 Wundulakoyang taught using conventional learning model in teaching trigonometry. (3) To determine whether the mathematical problem solving ability of students taught bycooperative learning model of Group Investigationbetter than mathematics problem solving ability of students taught by conventional learning models in Class 1 Wundulako State XSMA in teaching trigonometry. This type of research used experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class X are scattered in seven classes in parallel with the number of 155 people. Sampling was conducted using random cluster sampling technique. In this study as a sample taken two classes of the population that there is a class X2 as an experimental class and class X4 as the control class. From the results of data analysis showed that: (1) average math problem solving ability X2 grade students taught using cooperative learning model type investigative groups (Group Investigation), which consists of 19 students showed minimum value maximum value 96.00 72.00 , the average (mean)87.0526, median88.00 and mode86.00, With a variance40.608And standard deviation 6.37246, (2 average math problem solving ability X4 grade students taught using conventional learning model which consists of 22 students showed 68.00 minimum value, maximum value 96, 00 average (mean)82.3636, median82,00, and mode82.00, With a variance58.147And standard deviation7.62543, (3) the results of t-test analysis using independent samples t-test obtained t =2.116 on the significant 0,005 α = 0.05then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. With the rejection of H0, it can be concluded that the increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students taught using cooperative learning model type investigative groups (Group Investigation) is better than math problem solving ability of students taught using conventional learning models.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University. This study aims to show the effect of the use of software in learning on the understanding of statistical material. The material discussed is the data normality test. To achieve that goal the researcher measures the understanding of student material before and after use of the software. Next, data analysis is done by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test that have been obtained. The final result of the study shows that use mathematical software has a very significant effect of statistical material understanding, especially in data normality testing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a mathematical evaluation tool that has been scientifically tested so that it is declared feasible and practical for use in the evaluation process. This is a research development (Research and Development) and using the Plomp model. The Plomp model consists of four stages, namely: initial investigation; design stage; realization; tests, evaluations, and revisions. The software used to develop the evaluation tool is Ispring Suite. In terms of data collection, the research instruments used were material validation sheets, media validation sheets, and student assessment response questionnaires. The validation results of the material validator get the final percentage of 84% with the criteria feasible. The validation results from the media validator get a final percentage of 80% with the feasible category. In the assessment of students, the final percentage was 83% with very attractive criteria. It is concluded that the evaluation tool in the form of an online test developed is very suitable for use as an evaluation tool in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Saat ini berbagai macam media dapat digunakan untuk mengajar secara online. Bisa menggunakan WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram atau beragam media sosial lainnya. Namun untuk kebutuhan belajar mengajar, platform Leaning Management System (LMS) jauh lebih baik dari semua sosial media tersebut. Salah satu LMS yang cukup popular dikalangan akademisi adalah Google Classroom. Namun fitur dalam Google Classroom standar tidak selengkap dengan LMS lain seperti Schoology dan Moodle. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memodifikasi/mengembangkan google classroom standar menjadi LMS dengan fitur yang lebih lengkap. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan matematika semester IV tahun 2021. Cakupan materi yang akan dimasukkan dalam sistem adalah materi dalam mata kuliah Analisis Real I pada program studi Pendidikan matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan menggunakan model Plompt. Platform yang sudah dikembangkan kemudian dinilai oleh evaluator dari sisi aksebilitas, kustomisasi, kelas virtual, evaluasi dan kontennya sebelum diimplementasikan. Hasil penilaian dari dua evaluator menunjukkan bahwa Platform yang dikembangkan sangat baik digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran online ataupun pembelajaran campuran (Belnded Learning). Platform pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan oleh dosen lain yang mengajar mata kuliah yang sama dengan menggunakan referensi yang sama. Currently, various kinds of media can be used to teach online. Could be used WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or various other social media. However, for teaching and learning needs, the Learning Management System (LMS) platform is much better than all these social media. One LMS that is quite popular among academics is Google Classroom. However, the features in standard Google Classroom are not as complete as other LMS such as Schoology and Moodle. The purpose of this research is to modify or develop the standard google classroom into an LMS with more complete features. The research subjects are students of Mathematics Education semester IV 2021. The scope of material that will be included in the system was material in the Real Analysis I course in the Mathematics Education study program. The method used was the development method using the Plompt model. The platform that has been developed was then assessed by evaluators in terms of accessibility, customization, virtual classes, evaluation, and content before being implemented. The results of the assessments from the two evaluators showed that the platform developed was very well used for the online learning process or mixed learning (Blended Learning). This learning platform could be used by other lecturers who teach the same subject using the same reference.

Abstract

Institusi pendidikan akan menjadi berkualitas manakala didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Sumber daya yang paling berpengaruh dalam satuan pendidikan tidak lain adalah guru. Untuk menghadirkan sosok guru yang berkualitas harus dimulai dari satuan pendidikan yang menghasilkan guru. Dari sana seharusnya sudah bisa tersaring mana yang bisa jadi guru professional mana yang tidak. Untuk itu perlu adanya filter yang dapat memisahkan antara calon guru berkualitas baik dan yang tidak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat suatu aplikasi  yang berguna untuk menguji kompetensi calon guru matematika. Dengan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu dosen dalam menilai calon guru apakah pantas untuk diluluskan atau masih perlu ditempa. Untuk menghasilkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat diimplementasikan dibutuhkan empat tahapan yaitu: investigasi awal, tahap desain, tahap konstruksi/realisasi dan terakhir adalah evaluasi dan revisi. Tahap investigasi awal menentukan butir soal seperti apa yang ingin dimasukkan kedalam aplikasi. Pada tahap desain merancang tampilan soal dalam aplikasi seperti apa yang baik untuk para calon guru. Dalam tahap konstruksi/realisasi yaitu membuat aplikasi berdasarkan tahapan pertama dan kedua. Tahapan terakhir mengevaluasi dan merevisi kekurangan yang terdapat pada aplikasi yang telah dibuat. Hasil akhir diperoleh sebuah aplikasi ujian berbasis web yang telah teruji dan dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk menguji komptetensi calon guru matematika di Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka.Educational institutions will be of high quality if they are supported by quality human resources. The most influential resource in an educational unit is none other than the teacher. To present a qualified teacher, it must start from the education unit that produces teachers. From there, you should be able to filter out which ones can be professional teachers and which are not. For this reason, it is necessary to have a filter that can separate good quality teacher candidates and those who are not. The purpose of this study is to make an application that is useful for testing the competence of prospective mathematics teachers. With this application, it is hoped that it can help lecturers in assessing prospective teachers whether they are appropriate for graduation or still need to be forged. To produce an application that can be implemented, four stages are needed, namely: the initial investigation, the design stage, the construction/realization stage, and last is evaluation and revision. The initial investigation stage determines what items you want to include in the application. At the design stage, designing the appearance of questions in what kind of application is good for prospective teachers. In the construction/realization stage, namely making applications based on the first and second stages. The last stage is to evaluate and revise the shortcomings contained in the application that has been made. The results of the material evaluation and media evaluation from the two validation teams showed numbers in the good category. The final result is a web-based exam application that has been tested and declared suitable to be used to test the competence of prospective mathematics teachers at the University of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin melihat efek dari pemberian pembelajaran tambahan terdahap pemahaman materi Kalkulus. Selain itu juga ingin melihat kemampuan Schoology dalam hal pengelolaan kelas online, baik dalam diskusi, kemampuan berkirim pesan, pemberian materi, tugas dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan model desain post test only control group design. Untuk menguji efek yang dihasilkan dari pembelajaran tambahan menggunakan Schoology, diambil dua kelompok kelas mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Angkatan 2017 Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka yang mempunyai kemampuan relatif sama dan homogen, kemudian masing-masing diuji menggunakan aplikasi Schoology. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil ujian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriftip dan inferensial. Mahasiswa yang mendapat pembelajaran tambahan mempunyai pemahaman konsep materi yang lebih baik dibandingkan mahasiwa yang tidak mendapat pembelajaran tambahan. Selisih rataan pemahaman konsep mereka sebesar 31,89. Hasil inferensi statistik membuktikan bahwa perbedaan tersebut sangat signifikan. Oleh karena itu disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tambahan belajar bagi mahasiswa pada materi Kalkulus dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi bagi mereka. Selain itu, Schoology yang merupakan sosial medianya para pelajar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Dengan meningkatnya motivasi belajar, proses belajar menjadi lebih efektif sehingga implikasi terhadap pemahaman materi menjadi lebih baik. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to look at the effects of providing additional learning in an understanding of Calculus material. It also wants to see the ability of Schoology in terms of online classroom management, both in discussions, the ability to send messages, giving materials, assignments, and others. This research is an experimental study with a post-test only control group design. To test the effects resulting from additional learning using Schoology, two groups of Class 2017 Mathematics education students at the Nineteen November University Kolaka, who had relatively the same and homogeneous abilities, were taken. Each was tested using the Schoology application. Data obtained from the test results were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Students who receive additional learning have a better understanding of the concept of material than students who do not receive further knowledge. The difference between their mean understanding of the idea was 31.89. The statistical inference results prove that this difference is very significant. Therefore it is concluded that providing additional learning for students in calculus material can improve their understanding of the material. Besides, Schoology, which is social media for students, can increase student motivation to learn. With an increased motivation to learn, the learning process becomes more effective so that the implications for understanding the material are better.

Abstract

Tujuan dari peneitian ini adalah membuat suatu alat evaluasi berbasis komputer yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep Kalkulus mahasiswa. Alat evaluasi ini bisa digunakan secara offline maupun online. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu digunakan model Plomp yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: fase investigasi awal, fase desain, fase realisasi/konstruksi, fase test, evaluasi dan revisi. Sebelum mengkostruksi instrumen evaluasi dalam bentuk aplikasi, butir-butir soal divalidasi oleh dua orang pakar materi. Butir soal yang valid itulah yang diimport kedalam software Wondershare Quiz Creator untuk menciptakan sebuah prototipe instrumen evaluasi. Prototipe ini kemudian diujicobakan ke mahasiswa secara terbatas untuk melihat kepraktisan penggunaan aplikasi sekaligus menjadi alat evaluasi bagi penelti. Produk terkahir yang dihasilkan merupakan instrumen evaluasi yang valid dan praktis serta dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep Kalkulus Mahasiswa.ABSTRACTThis research aims to create a computer-based evaluation tool that could be used to measure students' understanding of the Calculus concept. This evaluation tool could be used offline or online. We use Plomp's model, which consists of four phases: the initial investigation phase, the design phase, the realization/construction phase, the test phase, evaluation, and revision. Before constructing the evaluation instruments in the application form, the items were validated by two material experts. Those valid items were imported into the Wondershare Quiz Creator software to create a prototype evaluation instrument. This prototype was then trialled to students on a limited basis to see the practicality of using the application as well as being an evaluation tool for researchers. The latest product produced was a valid and reliable evaluation instrument and was appropriate to be used to measure the ability to understand the concept of Student Calculus.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah berbagi ilmu pengetahuan kepada guru-guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo tentang cara membuat instrumen soal online maupun offline, baik soal kuis, Ujian Tengah Semester ataupun Ujian Akhir Semester. Sebelum terjun ke lapangan, Tim PKM melakukan observasi di sekolah setempat dan melakukan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah tentang pembinaan apa saja yang diperlukan oleh guru-guru sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan diri mereka. Pelatihan pembuatan soal menggunakan software khusus ini merupakan salah satu dari beberapa hal yang dibutuhkan oleh pihak sekolah. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan berlangsung sangat baik karena para peserta sangat antusias dengan apa yang kami berikan. Dari seluruh peserta yang hadir 16,67% yang sangat paham dan sisanya 83,33% semuanya paham. Hasil nyata yang diperoleh setelah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu salah satu dari beberapa guru sekolah langsung menerapkan hasil pelatihan kepada siswa SMP untuk ujian tengah semester.
