Abstract

This study aims to determine the barriers students Prodi D3 Catering course on Business Management Catering both internal and external barriers. Informants in this study were students in entry 2008 and 2010 who have taken courses Unread Catering Management Catering and 1 person supervising teacher. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results, showed that the presence of obstacles on this course. The internal resistance is seen at the student motivation to achieve the target of practice on the course Catering and Hospitality Business Management is also the motivation to seek consumer does not look like distributing flyers and pamphlets stuck. 2). External barriers are seen supporting infrastructure courses namely Business Management Catering workshop for practice. Abstract

The purpose of research is to describe quality of tour facility at Pantai Gandoriah Kota Pariaman. This research consists of five indicators are: transportation facility, accommodation facility, food and beverage facility, object and attraction, and shopping facility. Type of this research is descriptive using qualitative and quantitative. Data in this research reviewed by primary data, are: 1). Chairman of tour facility department Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pariaman and tour facility organizer using interviewed, 3) tourist that visit to Pantai Gandoriah using questionnaire. That applying purposive sampling technic. Based on the results of the study showed quality of tour facility at Pantai Gandoriah Kota Pariaman at category sufficiently with skor distance 126 - < 154 and interpretation 38%. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the breakfast habits of students, learning outcomes, and analyze the relationship between breakfast habits with student learning outcomes in mathematics. This research is correlational nature of survey research. The population in this study were all students of SMP N 7 Bukittinggi, amounting to 230 people. Samples numbered 70 people obtained by simple randoom sampling. Data processed by descriptive and correlation tests. Pimer data obtained in this study using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the value before remedial student learning outcomes in mathematics. The results showed that by 34.29% students have a habit of having breakfast in the bad category.There  77% students acquire learning outcomes with values ​​below the number of completeness, and the rest 23% of students above the number of completeness. There is a significant relationship between breakfast habits with student learning outcomes in mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0.481 with a significance value of 0.000.   Keywords: habits, eating breakfast, learning outcomes

Abstract

The research aimed to see the Influence of Work-Discipline towardWorkers’ Performance of Grand Inna Muara Hotel in Padang. The research wasquantitative descriptive by using associative clausal method. The population was130 workers of Grand Inna Muara Hotel. The samples were 98 people who wereobtained by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument that wasused for collecting the data was questionnaire. The questionnaire used Likert scalewhich has qualified validity and reliability. Based on the research, work-disciplineof the workers was categorized as very good (87, 75%), meanwhile workers’performance was categorized as good (68, 36%). The results revealed a positive,significant correlation between work-discipline toward workers’ performance ofGrand Inna Muara Hotel that is about 6, 8%. In other words, Ha is accepted.Keywords: Work-Discipline, and Workers’ Performance

Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of Facilities on Visitor Satisfaction at Ngalau Indah Tourism Object Payakumbuh City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of facilities on visitor satisfaction. The research was motivated by several problems regarding the facilities described by visitors who were in Ngalau Indah. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a causal associative approach. The type of sample in this study was to use purposive sampling technique so that 100 samples were obtained. The results of the research as a whole for the facility variable show a good category with an assessment percentage of 55% and for the visitor satisfaction variable it shows a very good category with an assessment percentage of 70%. Furthermore, the research results are based on: (1) the form of the facility indicator shows a good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 33%. (2) The facility function indicator shows a good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 34%. (3) The facility location indicator shows a good category with an interpretation of the response assessment percentage of respondents' assessment of 36%. And (4) the facility quality indicator shows a good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 33%. (5) the expectation indicator shows a good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 36%. (6) Performance indicators (performance) show a good category with the interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 31%. (7) The comparison indicator shows a very good category with an interpretation of the response assessment, the percentage of respondents' assessment is 78%. And (8) the confirmation indicator (confirmation) shows a good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 28%. (9) The discrepancy indicator shows a sufficient category with an interpretation of the response assessment, the percentage of respondents' assessment is 37%.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini berdasarkan adanya masalah yang ditemukan di hotel dan juga adanya komplaintamu di Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. Adapun masalah dan complainyang ditemukan seperti tamu komplain mengenai kamar toilet yang kurang bersih dan peralatan kamar mandi tidak diganti seperti sleeper dan tissue toilet. Dalam penelitian ini ada 2 jenis data yaitu data primer dan data sekunder.Cara dalam pengumpulan datanya dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner.Penelitian ini tergolong pada deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan assositif hubungan kausal. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tamu yang menginap di Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi sebanyak 99 responden dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya yaitu teknik non probability sampling.Penelitian ini dengan melakukan penyebaran angket kepada tamu hotel.Dalam pengukuran dalam variabel X dan variabel Y dengan menggunakan skala likert.Distribusi datavariabel fasilitas kamar berada pada kategori baik dan untuk distribusi variabel keputusan menginap berada pada ketegori baik. Setelah pengolahan data didapat uji F dengan hasil diperoleh F hitung sebesar 14,569 dengan nilai sig 0,002 kecil dari 0,05, dapat dijelaskan bahwa variabel fasilitas kamar dapat menjelaskan variabel keputusan menginap yang secara signifikan dengan hasil Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil data yang didapat untuk uji koefisiensi variabel yaitu dengan nilai sig. 0,002 kecil dari 0,05, dapat diartikan bahwa variabel failitas kamar memiliki peran yang positif terhadap keputusan menginap di Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. Hasil dari uji koefisiensi determinasi menunjukan 13,1% fasilitas kamar mempengaruhi keputusan mnginap di Grand Rocky hotel Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui Persepsi pengunjung tentang sapta pesona di objek wisata Taman wisata Margasatwa Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi dan didasari oleh beberapa permasalahan di Taman Margasatwa Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi yaitu pagar pembatas satwa yang butuh perawatan serta berbahaya bagi anak-anak karna dirasa kurang kemanannya. Jenis penelitian nya adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey. Populasi penelitiannya yaitu semua pengunjung di Sapta pesona Wisata Taman Margasatwa Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi. Cara untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menyebarkan angket atau kuisioner, dan sampel uji coba penelitian sebanyak 30 orang. Uji coba instrumen memakai uji validitas dan uji reabilitas. Dengan teknik sampel yang digunakan non probability sampling dengan metode incidental sampling, dengan total responden 100 orang. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan persepsi pengunjung tentang Sapta pesona Wisata Taman Margasatwa Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi. Menunjukkan persentase buruk sebanyak 92%. Berdasarkan indikator atraksi dapat dikategorikan buruk dengan persentase 54% dalam rentang. Berdasarkan indikator aman dengan persentase buruk sebanyak 84%. Berdasarkan indikator tertib dapat dikategorikan buruk dengan persentase 84%. Berdasarkan indikator bersih dengan persentase buruk dengan persentase 85%. Berdasarkan indikator sejuk cukup baik 42%. Berdasarkan indikator indah buruk 65%. Berdasarkan indikator ramah 81% buruk. Berdasarkan indikator kenangan buruk 48%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan seperti sampah yang masih berserakan disekitar objek wisata, parkiran yang belum tertata rapi,tidak adanya penjaga keaman disekitar objek wisata, udara yang kurang bagus di tepi pantai, kurangnya pepohonan tempat berteduh, kurang ramahnya penjaga pintu gerbang, kurangnya kenang-kenangan pada Objek Wisata Pantai Pasia Tiku. Jenis penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua pengunjung yang datang ke Pantai Pasia Tiku Provinsi Sumatera Barat dari bulan Juni 2020 sampai Desember 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan skala likert yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dari penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS 20.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pengunjung tentang tinjauan sapta pesona di objek wisata pantai pasia tiku kabupaten agam provinsi sumatera barat berada pada kategori kurang setuju yaitu 49%. Sedangkan untuk indikator aman berada dalam kategori kurang setuju yaitu 57%. Selanjutnya pada indikor tertib berada pada kategori setuju yaitu 45%, pada indikator sejuk berada pada kategori setuju yaitu 52%, pada indikator bersih berada pada kategori kurang setuju yaitu 59% dan yang pada adalah indikator indah dengan kategori tidak setuju yaitu 55%. Pada indikator ramah-tamah dengan kategori setuju yaitu 52%, dan terakhir indikator kenangan dengan kategori setuju yaitu 53%.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the hotel management graduates' perception of work conditions and the moderating effect of salary on work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The total population was 670 hotel management graduates with the sample's determination based on the type of purposive sampling. The sample size of the study is 20% of the total population (134 graduates) who are estimated to work in the hotel industry. A total of 134 respondents were successfully collected. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that: There is a significant effect of work condition toward hotel management graduates’ work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic and there is a significant moderating effect of salary toward the relationship between work condition and hotel management graduates’ work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic. What could be said from the result of the study is that the impact of work conditions toward work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID-19 pandemic would be increased with the presence of salary.

Abstract

The This study aims to determine the Effect of Working Facilities on Employee satisfaction at Imelda Hotel-Waterpark-Convention Padang. This type of research is classified into quantitative descriptive research with causative associative methods.1The population in this study were all employees who worked at Imelda Hotel-Waterpark-Convention Padang as many as 72 people using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection techniques usingma questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed through description analysis and simple linear regression test and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results of the study show that: Work Facilities in the category of Good have a percentage of 51.39% and Satisfaction of employees with the category of Good has a percentage of 86.11%. Furthermore, the R Square value is 0.094 with the level of sig. 0.009 <0.05, the Work Facility variabledcan explain the variable Employee Satisfaction of 9.4% and 90.6% influenced by other factors.
