Abstract

Using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in elementary school classrooms has been shown to positively impact students' learning outcomes. There are numerous ways in which PBL helps students learn in the primary grades. There is still a paucity of research from reputable national journals on PBL in elementary education for this review. Articles on problem-based learning and the basics of education were pulled from the indexed national education journal Sinta Indonesia as part of the literature review method. Based on the criteria, 16 articles were chosen from the results list. The literature review results show that the PBL model can have a positive impact in general. The research that has been done has improved and had an effect. Elementary school students have made significant strides in a variety of areas, including behavior, attitude, academic performance, and character traits such as initiative, responsibility, cooperation, and critical thinking. Because of PBL's similarities to early childhood education, it should be considered for inclusion there.

Abstract

Caring for the environment is one of the visions of SD N Krebet Pajangan Kulon Progo. In the pandemic season, the school culture has experienced very significant changes in the learning process and other school activities. The purpose of this study is to describe how to build environmental awareness of Pre and during the Pandemic Season in SD N Krebet. This study uses an approach qualitative which is included in the intricic case research class with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique is carried out namely observation to determine conditions updates, documentation, and interviews with informants to get data about the conditions of learning and culture school before and during pandemic season. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of school culture that supports the realization of a vision of environmental awareness is very different in its management both pre and during a pandemic. The management of school culture is seen from the aspects of program planning, implementation and evaluation. When pre-pendemic management to build environmental awareness is carried out more varied, whereas during a pandemic, the management of school culture tends to emphasize knowledge and advice only, but there are some life skills that are taught, namely making masks and using used items as soap containers to wash hands.

Abstract

The lack of learning media learning that dares make students find it challenging to learn, especially on the basic concepts of science. An alternative solution for students to learn independently is by developing modules with good module characteristics. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a valid science basic concept module according to the characteristics of a suitable module. This type of research is research and development research with Borg & Gall development procedures. The subjects of this study were three experts in assessment and one evaluation. The population in this study were elementary school teacher study students who took science courses, and the sample of this study was 9. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires and product validation sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the developed science module has clear, independent, independent, adaptive, user-friendly instructions with attractive graphics. The module validation results obtained an average of 103, with a very good category. The results of the response questionnaire distributed to ten students showed that as many as 80% of students added that they were accommodating in independent learning during the pandemic, and as many as 20%. Based on the modules developed were pretty helpful in implementing the learning process during the pandemic. It proves that the module developed is worthy of being used as a source of independent learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

Abstrak Modul yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan menjadi salah satu bahan ajar yang akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kebutuhan pengembangan modul IPA PGSD. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) mengadopsi model 4D yang terdiri dari define, design, development, disseminate. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya pada tahap define dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan informasi bahwa: (1) Strengh: kemampuan mahasiswa untuk mengakses pembelajaran secara online sudah cukup baik, kurikulum merdeka (MBKM) sudah diterapkan di PGSD, Pembelajaran di Prodi PGSD UST berorientasi kepada capaian pembelajaran, visi keilmuan Prodi PGSD mendukung terhadap inovasi pembelajaran; (2) Weakness: tidak semua mahasiswa memiliki ketersediaan kuota, mahasiswa kesulitan untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara cooperative ketika pembelajaran online; (3) Opportunity: Pembelajaran blended learning sudah diterapkan dengan persentase daring dan luring 40% dan 60%, materi IPA didominasi Fisika dan Biologi; dan (4) Threat: mahasiswa PGSD sebagian bukan dari lulusan IPA ketika tingkat Pendidikan SMA/MA dan beberapa mahasiswa merasa tidak sesuai jurusan. Modul yang akan dikembangkan memiliki beberapa karakteristik yaitu sederhana, mudah dipahami, dapat diakses ketika pembelajaran daring maupun luring, tersetruktur, dan bermakna yang mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam keilmuan IPA serta mengarahkan mahasiswa untuk bekerja sama dan berorientasi terhadap pemecahan kasus dan permasalahan.

Abstract

Background: SD Negeri Tahunan is not yet a driving school, but SD Negeri Tahunan is one of the schools that has implemented the Phase B independent curriculum (grades I and IV), and the independent curriculum implemented in this school, namely the independent independent curriculum, has changed. Purpose: This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of science learning based on the independent curriculum in class IV SD Negeri Tahunan Yogyakarta. Method: The design of this study uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model.   Findings: The results of this study indicate that: (1) the science lesson plan made by the teacher has been adjusted to the criteria for an independent curriculum, the teacher has analyzed learning outcomes, made learning objectives, learning goal lines, methods, models, approaches, materials, learning resources, assessments, then poured into teaching modules, (2) the implementation of science learning in class IV is carried out in accordance with the lesson plans that have been made previously. Teachers create collaborative, interactive, and contextual learning. Activities in science learning vary so that learning is easy to understand, not boring, fosters an attitude of independence, high responsibility and curiosity, and makes learning fun, (3) the form of evaluation of science learning in class IV SD Negeri Tahunan is carried out by carrying out diagnostic assessments, formative assessments and summative assessments. The diagnostic assessment that has been carried out is a non-cognitive diagnostic assessment. Formative assessments are given by the teacher at the end of science learning at each meeting. Summative assessments are carried out during daily assessments, midterm assessments, and end of semester assessments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media, describe the feasibility of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media, and describe student responses to literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media in grade IV science learning at SD Negeri Gunung Agung. This type of research is Research and Development adapting the development method by Sugiyono. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media contain material summaries, experimental activities, quizzes, and rewards and punishments that make it easier for students to understand the material, literacy-based Fun Thinkers Book media is very feasible to use based on the assessment of media experts with a score of 95%, material experts with a score of 92.5%, and class teachers with a score of 96.25%, and get a positive response from students with scores of 93% on limited tests and 92.5%  on the main test.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melaksanakan program Sekolah Bijak Sampah sebagai edukasi Pengelolaan sampah dalam paradigma baru yang mendukung Sustainable Development Goals di SD Negeri Margoyasan. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan antara lain: 1. Persiapan, 2. Pelaksanaan, dan 3. Evaluasi. Program ini diikuti oleh 50 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas IV dan V SD yang mengikuti keseluruhan rangkaian program. Kesimpulan dari program ini yaitu telah tumbuhnya kebiasaan membuang sampah tepat pada tempatnya dengan adanya media jurnal pembiasaan 40 Days Challenge dimana 32 dari 50 siswa memiliki tingkat keberhasilan diatas 70%, adanya peningkatan keterampilan pengolahan sampah dengan nilai N-Gain 0,89 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, dihasilkan produk olahan sampah organik berupa Eco Enzyme dan pupuk kompos, produk olahan sampah anorganik berupa pot dari botol bekas, serta modul Menuju Sekolah Bijak Sampah.   Waste wise school as an effort to educate waste management in the new paradigm at SD Negeri Margoyasan   Abstract: This service aims to carry out the Waste Wise School program as education on waste management in a new paradigm that supports Sustainable Development Goals at SD Negeri Margoyasan. The steps taken include 1. Preparation, 2. Implementation, and 3. Evaluation. This program was attended by 50 students of grades IV and V of SD who participated in the entire program series. This program concluded that the habit of disposing of waste in the right place has grown with the 40 Days Challenge habitual journal media where 32 out of 50 students have a success rate above 70%, waste processing skills increased with an N-Gain value of 0.89 which included in the high category. In addition, processed organic waste products are produced in the form of Eco Enzyme and compost, inorganic waste processed products in the form of pots from used bottles, as well as the module Towards a Waste Wise School.
