Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Flipped Classroom model to self efficacy and student concept mastery. This Research was conducted at SMAN in Bandar Lampung. The sample of this research was 22 students of X MIA1 as an experimental class and 21 students of X MIA2 as a control class. The research design used was Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Based on the result of self efficacy ANCOVA test with Fcount>Ftable (15,28>4,09) and the result of concept mastery with Fcount>Ftable (15,49>4,09), it can be stated that there are differences in mean of self efficacy and mastery of student concepts in the experimental class and control class which means that Flipped Classroom gives a significant impact to the self efficacy and student concept mastery. The conclusion of this research is Flipped Classroom learning model can improve self efficacy and ability to master student concept, this is indicated by the average difference of N-Gain self efficacy in experimental class 0.75 with high category and N-gain mastery of concept in experimental class 0,70 with high category.

Abstract

The aim of this research  were to develop and determine the attractiveness, convenience, usefulness, effectiveness of student worksheets based on guided inquiry on heat material. The research development method used in this study refers to the method development by Sugiyono, namely: Potential and problem analysis, Information collection, Product Design, Design validation, Design revision, Product testing, Product revision, Usage trial, Product revision, Mass production. This step was started by conducting questionnaire filling addressed to the  science teachers and students of VII class at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono. The product’s design validation evaluation was conducted by the design experts and content / learning material experts. Furthermore, product trial were conducted on 7 students using one by one test, that states this product has excellent quality of attractiveness, the quality of convenience is very good, and the quality of usefulness is good.The usage trial was conducted in one sample class consisting of 34 VII students in SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono.The results of testing the attractiveness got an average score of 3.19 in the attractive category, the convenience got an average score 3,20 in the convenience category, and the usefulness got an average score 3,38 in the very usefulness category. The result obtained from the use of this trial is the post-test score, so that the percentage of students' mastery of learning fulfilled the Minimum Passing Grade by 85%. Based on this analysis, the worksheets developed can be used effectively in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis Predict- Observe -Explain pada materi tekanan dalam zat cair untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sains siswa yang tervalidasi oleh ahli dan praktisi, menarik, bermanfaat. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) Berdasarkan hasil validitas uji ahli materi dan uji ahli desain dengan skor rata-rata yaitu 3,34 dan 3,56 dari skor maksimum 4 dengan kategori sangat sesuai digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji kemenarikan diperoleh skor rata-rata 3,54 dengan kategori sangat menarik,hasil uji kemudahan dengan skor rata-rata 3,57 kategori sangat mudah dan kemanfaatan LKPD Berbasis Predict- Observe -Explain pada Materi Tekanan dalam Zat Cair dengan skor rata-rata 3,72 kategori sangat bermanfaat dari masing-masing skor maksimum 4. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini dihasilkannya LKPD berbasis POE untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang tervalidasi, dan layak untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sains siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a contextual learning module based on multiple representations on the static fluid topic that is validated, attractive, easy, useful and effective. This research uses research and development research method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. Furthermore, the expert test of the product consisting of expert test design and expert test of the topic with good result and the product is stated "valid" and small group test to 38 students in XI IPA 4 class in the SMAN 13 Bandarlampung, so that the result of the product are very interesting with score 3.48, very simplify with score 3.42, and useful with a score of 3.10. In the product effectiveness test obtained the result of N-gain value is 0.55 (medium), so that contextual learning module based on multiple representations on the static fluid topic has been tested effective and suitable for use as teaching topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multiple representations pada materi Fluida Statis yang tervalidasi, menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji ahli produk yang terdiri dari uji ahli desain dan uji ahli materi dengan hasil baik dan produk dinyatakan valid serta uji kelompok kecil yaitu 38 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 di SMAN 13 Bandarlampung, sehingga diperoleh modul sangat menarik dengan skor 3,48, sangat mudah dengan skor 3,42, dan bermanfaat dengan skor 3,10. Pada uji keefektifan produk diperoleh hasil nilai N-gain yaitu 0,55 (sedang), sehingga modul pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multiple representations pada materi Fluida Statis telah teruji efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.Kata kunci: Fluida Statis, Modul Berbasis Multiple Representations, Modul Kontekstual

Abstract

This research aimed at creating Learners Working Sheets being interesting, easy, useful, and effective in arising learners skill of thinking creatively. Samples were the students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 of SMA N 1 Bandar Sribhawono. Design in the research was specifically with type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data collected were tested by N-gain analysis, normality test, homogenity test, and Independent Sample T-test. Result of score testing using Independent Sample T-test for value Sig. (2-Tailed) less than 0.05 was 0.000; This means that students using learners working sheets scientific literacy have better creative thinking skills than students using conventional learners working sheets. Learners Working Sheets have an easy category with score 3.20, interesting with score 2.55, useful with score 3.10 and effective in arising learners skill of thinking creatively.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat dan efektif dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 SMA N 1 Bandar Sribhawono. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan desain tipe Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data diuji dengan analisis N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan Independent Sample T-test. Hasil uji nilai Independent Sample T-test nilai Sig. (2-Tailed) kurang dari 0,05, yaitu 0,000. Hal ini berarti siswa yang menggunakan LKPD scientific literacy memiliki keterampilan berpikir kreatif lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan LKPD konvensional. LKPD ini memiliki kategori mudah dengan skor 3,20, menarik dengan skor 2,55, bermanfaat dengan skor 3,10 dan efektif dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif.Kata kunci: Berpikir Kreatif, LKPD, Scientific Literacy

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning to improve learning outcomes physics class X SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram. The samples used in the study were students of class X MIA 1 as an experimental class using problem-based learning model and class X MIA 2 as the control class using direct learning model. The method used is the pretest-posttest control group design. Data were tested using independent samples t-test. Based on the results obtained experimental class pretest and posttest 33.72 at 59.97 with an average increase of 26.25 learning outcomes and results obtained control class pretest and posttest 36.19 at 50.28 with an average increase learning outcomes by 14 09. Based on the test results the difference of learning outcomes using independent sample t-test of 0.000, it can be concluded that there are significant usage based learning model of the physics student learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data yang diuji menggunakan uji independent sampel t-test. Berdasarkan hasil pretest kelas eksperimen diperoleh 33,72 dan posttest sebesar 59,97 dengan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 26,25 dan hasil pretest kelas kontrol diperoleh 36,19 dan posttest sebesar 50,28 dengan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 14,09. Berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan independent sampel t-test sebesar 0,000, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Fisika, Hukum Newton tentang Gerak, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah.

Abstract

The research aim to produce interactive multimedia simulation model for learning the Earth Structure and Disasters for 7th grade of Juior High School that were validated, attractive, easy, useful, and effective. This reseach used reseach and development design with effectiveness test method used Pretest and Posstest Group. The result from the evaluation the expert (content and design) showed that the developed product were in a good category and valid. Small group test to 27 students in 7-1 class in the SMPN 02 Bandar Lampung concluded that interactive multimedia simulation was very interesting, very simplify, very useful, and effective as a learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif model simulasi untuk pembelajaran Struktur Bumi dan Bencananya di Kelas VII SMP yang tervalidasi, menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development dengan metode uji keefektifan Pretest and Posstest Group. Hasil dari evaluasi ahli (materi dan desain) menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori baik dan valid. Uji kelompok kecil terhadap 27 siswa kelas 7-1 di SMPN 02 Bandar Lampung menyimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif simulasi sangat menarik, sangat mudah, sangat bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Model Simulasi, Multimedia Interaktif, Penelitian Pengembangan, Struktur Bumi dan Bencananya. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v6.n1.201801

Abstract

This research aimed to develop valid Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Predict Observe Explain (POE) of light topic for eighth graders at junior high school. The researcher will also describe the attractiveness, easiness, and usefulness of LKPD based on POE developed. The study refers to the design of research and development (R D) according to Sugiyono with the development procedure consists of the potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, and product testing. LKPD based on POE has been validated the design test with the score 3.74 (very appropriate) and the material test with the score 3.57 (very appropriate). LKPD based on POE has been developed were very attractive with the score 3,54, very easy with the score 3.57, and very useful with the score 3.72. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Predict Observe Explain (POE) pada materi cahaya untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII yang tervalidasi. Peneliti juga akan mendeskripsikan kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan LKPD berbasis POE yang dikembangkan. Penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) dengan prosedur pengembangan terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba produk. LKPD berbasis POE ini telah tervalidasi uji desain dengan skor rata-rata 3,74 (sangat sesuai) dan uji materi dengan skor rata-rata 3,57 (sangat sesuai). LKPD berbasis POE yang dihasilkan sangat menarik dengan skor rerata 3,54, sangat mudah dengan rerata skor 3,57, dan sangat bermanfaat dengan rerata skor 3,72.Kata kunci:  Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, Predict Observe Explain, Penelitian Pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of research to know (1) the effect of the ability to think critically on student achievement; (2) the effect of the respone on student achievement; and (3) the effect of critical thinking skills and teaching materials multirepresentasion respone on student achievement. Research conducted in South Lampung MAN 1 2016/2017 academic year with the study design is one shot case study.Test using multiple linier regression.Based on the results, we concluded that (1) there is a significant effect of the influence of critical thinking skills to the student achievement with 56% coefficient of determination; (2) there is significant influence respone effect on student achievement with a coefficient of determination of 52%; (3) there is asignificant influence the effect of critical thinking skills and use of materials Physics respone multirepresentasi based on student achievement with a coefficient of determination of 66%.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar; (2) pengaruh respon terhadap hasil belajar; dan (3) pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis dan respon bahan ajar multirepresentasi terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan desain penelitian adalah one shot case study. Uji menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar dengan koefisien determinasi 56%; (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan pengaruh respon terhadap hasil belajar dengan koefisien determinasi 52%; (3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis dan respon penggunaan bahan ajar Fisika berbasis multirepresentasi terhadap hasil belajar dengan koefisien determinasi 66%.Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Multirepresentasi, Respon

Abstract

The objective of this research development is to : (1) produce multiple representation contextual teaching module of gravity in newtons law, and (2) to know the attractiveness, convenience, benefit and effectiveness of learning module. The procedur of development include requirements potential and problems, information gathering, product design, product validation, design revisions, product testing, product revisions, trial usage, product revisions. The results showed that the learning module is very interesting with a score of 3.46, very easy with a score of 3.42, and useful with a score of 3.10. In the test of effectiveness obtained result of N-gain value is 0,53 (medium). Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that multiple representation contextual teaching module representing Newton's Law material about Gravity has proven effective to use as teaching material.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan modul pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multirepresentasi pada materi Hukum Newton tentang gravitasi, dan (2) mengetahui kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan serta keefektifan modul pembelajaran. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi desain, ujicoba produk, revisi produk, ujicoba pemakaian, revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran sangat menarik dengan skor 3,46, sangat mudah dengan skor 3,42, dan bermanfaat dengan skor 3,10. Pada uji keefektifan produk diperoleh hasil nilai N-gain yaitu 0,53 (sedang).
