Abstract

PISA-based science problem instruments have been developed on physical, earth and space content that is valid, practical and reliable. The PISA-based question instrument was developed used as one of the teaching materials in science learning in junior high school so students are familiar with the problem of metacognitive dimensions.The development model used is the development model of Borg and Gall. The subject of this study is a PISA-based science problem instrument for earth and space physical and content content. Data were collected using walkthroughs, questionnaires, and tests. While the instruments of data collection using a validation sheet, questionnaire questionnaire, and test questions. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the product developed was very valid with an average of 4.6; practical with an average of 0.88; and reliable with an average of 0.88. Based on the results of the research obtained, it was concluded that the PISA-based science problem instrument for physical content and earth and space content is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical e-learning model for critical thinking skills using the moodle platform in the lesson of electromagnetic induction. Dick and Carey instructional design model is applied for the product development—which consists of nine stages, (1) instructional goals identification, (2) instructional analysis, (3) learners and contexts analysis, (4) objective performance arrangement, (5) assessment instruments development, (6) instructional strategy’s plan, (7) instructional material selection, (8) preparation for conducting a formative evaluation of the instruction, and (9) revise instruction. The results reveal the moodle design is valid and practical regarding expert and user perspectives, respectively. Besides, there is an improvement of student’s critical thinking skills according to the obtained n-gain score, which stands for 0.38.

Abstract

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Flash Flip Book Pada Mata Kuliah Elemen Mesin 1 Di Pogram Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fkip Unsri. pengembangan di lakukan dengan model Rowntree. Eveluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode evaluasi formatif tessmer. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kevalidan materi adalah 90,27% dengan kategori valid, desain sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian produk memiliki validitas sebasar 83,75% dengan kategori sangat valid. Skor kepraktisan pada tahap one-to-one evaluation sangat praktis terlihat dari komentar dan saran yang menunjukan komentar dan saran yang baik, tahapan small group evaluation sebesar 83,75% dengan kategori praktis, dan tahapan field test sebesar 82,41% dengan kategori praktis. Dengan demikian, produk berupa media flas flip book berkualitas baik sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran elemen mesin 1.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) adanya pengaruh pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan literasi sains materi pesawat sederhana, dan (2) peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi pesawat sederhana. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Gelumbang, Sumatera Selatan pada siswa kelas VIII 1. Metode penelitian yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest posttest design. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian diperoleh thitung=26,766 > ttabel=2,069 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi sains materi pesawat sederhana. Peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa sebesar 0,4 termasuk kategori sedang.

Abstract

Tippe top is an example of simple moving system of rigid body with non-holonomic constraint, but the analysis of this system is not simple. A tippe top equation has been derived with Routhian reduction method and Poincaré equation, and physics computation in finding numeric solution of the dynamics of the tippe top has also been utilized by using Maple program. However, the Poincaré equation required that quasi-coordinate of the quasi-velocity is found, while in the case of the dynamics of tippe top, there is not any exact solution of the quasi-coordinate of the quasi-velocity was found. Therefore, the tippe top equation should be reduced to solve the problem. In this research, Routhian reduction was employed so that the Routhian reduction-based Poincaré equation was used to derive the tippe top equation. The method was able to derive a tippe top equation on a flat plane and tube inner surface clearly represented differential equations.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive multimedia-based learning model ProblemBased Learning (PBL) in the physics subject of fluid dynamic valid, practical, and knowing itspotential effects. The method used is a research development (development research) withmeasures Akker research development which consists of four stages: (1) the stage ofpreliminary examination; (2) the stage of theoretical adjustment; (3) empirical testing phase,and (4) the stage of documentation, analysis, and reflection on the process and results. At thisstage of empirical test using Tessmer formative evaluation model which consists of five stages:(1) self-evaluation; (2) expert reviews; (3) one-to-one evaluation; (4) small group; and (5)field test. The instrument used in this study is the validation sheet, interview, questionnaire,and achievement test. This research has produced an interactive multimedia PBL valid with apercentage score of validity of the product obtained from the validator of 92.75% with a veryvalid category. Interactive multimedia PBL has a percentage score practicality of the productobtained in small group step amounted to 81.15% with the category of very practical. N-Gainobtained in field test step of 0.4 with medium category. Based on the research results, it can beconcluded that the interactive multimedia-based learning model Problem Based Learning(PBL) in physics subject of fluid dynamic developed has met the criteria of validity andpracticality as well as having a potential effect on learning outcomes of students with moderatecategory.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kemampuan berpikir secara eksperimen mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya dalam memecahkan masalah dengan cara menganalisis pada materi Hukum Gerak Newton. Subyek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan fisika angkata 2014 dan 2016 Kampus Palembang dan Inderalaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes dan non tes berupa wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 2 tahap. tahap pertama tes berupa soal uraian tentang Hukum Gerak Newton dilakukan kepada 102 mahasiswa dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik non tes berupa wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Klasifikasi berpikir secara ekperimen menurut Brown Mahasiswa Kampus Palembang angkatan 2014, secara merata termasuk dalam tiga jenis berpikir secara eksperimen, untuk angkatan 2016 termasuk dalam jenis Destructive. Klasifikasi berpikir secara ekperimen menurut Brown Mahasiswa Kampus Inderalaya angkatan 2014, termasuk Kategori Destructive, untuk angkatan 2016 termasuk dalam jenis Constructive. Hasil yang di harapkan dalam penelitian ini nanti sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagaimana cara untuk memberikan kuliah dengan model pembelajaran yang tepat, sehingga mampu mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam melakukan analisis konsep-konsep fisika melalui berpikir secara eksperimen

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan modul elektronika dasar berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Unsri. Penelitian model inovasi kegiatan pelaksanaan praktikum yang dimaksud  diberi nama praktikum berbasis proyek (PBP).  Dalam implementasinya model ini menggunakan empat proses;  koneksi, desain,  investigasi dan membangun pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP UNSRI pada perkuliahan elektronika dasar. Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Research dan Development (R&D) yang  mengacu pada penelitian pengembangan yang merujuk pada Thiagarjan (1974) dengan langkah-langkah: (a) Tahap Pendefinisian (define), (b) Tahap Perencanaan (Design), (c) Tahap Pengembangan (Develop) dan (d) Tahap Diseminasi (Disseminate). Efektivitas penerapan modul praktikum berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan ditentukan berdasarkan perbandingan <g> antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan teknik pengujian statistik parametrik (uji-t). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data perbedaan yang ditujukan table 2.
